We felt the full original version of the video was too graphically intense and not suitable for all ages. We hope to raise awareness not that this particular accident happened but how we became aware through this event, that it appears that there is no central investigative and reporting body. And without that, we have no idea of how frequently these accidents happen or the severity of each. This one happened this year, you can search but it as if this never happened, or as if these horses never existed. In all four horses went down. They blocked the view of the audience, so we cannot know for sure what happened, but we never saw these horses get up again.
oh and by the way every accident is recorded and investigated CPCA to try and improve the sport and the safety of both human and horse so where did you get your facts from? did you know every horse is vet checked before the race and after ! they ware heart monitors while racing . the drivers take drug and alcohol tests .. these horses are on feed schedules designed for them by VETS!!! hello they are warmed up and cooled down properly are on a farrier scheduled right to the exact day
Those horses probably live better than half the people on the Earth I know Chuck Wagon in those horses have it good this video is just baloney

To what good will this video take me? All the time, energy, and money to post this video in order to hold someone 'accountable'! Are you nuts!?! What ever happened to "Be the change you want to see"?
humans play sports, and these horses play a sport too!!! if they didnt do this all these horses would be fat, now thats cruel... go chuckwagons :)

Without dates, without specific information, there is no way for an objective observer to determine whether "these accidents go unreported." All you have is a sensationalist video, created to tug at people's heartstrings, yet with no hard data provided to back anything up. All we see is a horse down - we don't know what led up to the fall, we don't know what eventually happened to the horse. To me? Insufficient data or information to effect ANY kind of positive change - unfortunately.
@ridingarts I don't know why you need specific info on this subject....just look at the other UA-cam videoson Chuckwagon racing....there are a few nasty ones, just take a look. Coming from the Eastern part of the US, I never saw this kind of racing. It's terrible!
Humans are the most dangerous and vicious animals on Earth!!! Defenseless, obedient animals are their prey. Disgusting!
