Villa Alcuzcuz nears completion, 2nd Blower Door test

The award-winning Villa Alcuzcuz is almost completed! With the whole team working overtime to ensure completion is on target, the interior design team is now preparing to step in for the next stage.
This video takes a look at all floors in the villa and also shows a second Blower Door test which determines the overall air tightness of the building. Passive Houses are designed to avoid any type of “leak” in the building envelope, thus boosting energy efficiency while preventing draughts and moisture damage. These tests ensure that energy goals have been achieved.
