My season of having babys is long gone but I still get so excited and a little melancholy when I see all the sweet little baby clothes. I am so excited for you and your family, Lisa, and cannot wait to find out the gender. ❤

Those outfits are adorable and so cozy and soft looking, wish they came in adult sizes!! I just love that little cable knit sweater! Can’t wait to see the new lil one!! 🤗
I'm pregnant again with my fifth. I watched your tips for natural birth with my third and you blessed me SO much. You completely altered my birthing experience. Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU!
All of my babies (8 of them!) have slept right in bed with me and my husband! I’m currently expecting baby #9 and thanks for all the fresh inspiration! Good luck with your new little one coming soon!
Usually around 2 1/2 they start gravitating towards sleeping with a favorite older sibling. But there are nights when only mom and dad’s bed will do!! My oldest was probably about 3 when she slept in her own bed but in the same room as mom and dad. Eventually they all leave the nest, so I say enjoy the snuggles while you can!
I'm expecting my first in July and plan to bedshare as well! Do you use a rail or gate on the side of your bed or just put the bed against the wall so they don't fall out?
So fun! I’ve been listening to The Down To Birth podcast ever since you shared your birth story! I love them! Absolutely fantastic, and I’m saying that as a labor and delivery RN and mom of four! For anyone looking for that type of information I highly recommend them! I never miss an episode!
When you mentioned the 4moms baby swing, I remembered having something similar next to me in the kitchen when I was cooking or washing dishes with my fourth. It worked well, especially with the kitchen fan making noise- babies like the noise. Plus I could see him and make sure older siblings were no touching! It doesn't always work when the baby wants to be held- but it does work over 50 percent of the time :)
I just love how you put practical together and make it be luxurious. I love the natural and comfortable not over done look. I add a nice pram jacket outfit for the car or out side if it snows there. Forget what its called. Also a hat for when out in the car. Praying for you hope all is easy and I can not wait to see what you have. I do hope it is a girl. Had four boys, adopted one and adopted a girl. I carried all mine around and had them sleep with me until about six mths in a cradle by the bed. I did not know about wraps when mine were little. My first was born when they did not have car seats for safety like now. We had a portable fold out bed we strapped in back with seat belts and then a boaster seat which was made for the kid to see out the window with a small stirring wheel you could attach.
Love it! Expecting #5 and we aren't planning to find out what we are having again. I did lots of gray and white last time and this time I'm leaning more towards rust, darker greens and mustard yellow.
I love using soft booties that velcro or snap around the ankle in place of socks. They stay on most of the time. Then I do the leather slip on flats as they get to walking age.
If possible, would you mind making a follow up video when the baby is 6 months old? My "children" are now your age & i had that same attitude back then & believe me it was not popular! EVERYBODY criticized us but i just felt like it was such a waste. Im so glad to see less is more is a popular school off thought nowadays, it just makes so much sense. 1
Omg people are doing the same thing to me. I’m on baby number 6 i have everything Why would I buy things if I have it all. This lady even said that I didn’t love my baby which is totally not true. I just don’t think I should make this company’s richer!
Cozy little newborn slippers those were always my go to. To keep those little socks to stay on little feet. I have a kinder for my toddler. When we go out and don't wanna fight a stroller or fight him escaping and running away like lightening speed. And he actually relaxes so much being worn.
Thanks, Lisa! I had my first baby in October too. I would love to hear about your toddler must-haves and how you transition your babies to napping in a room.
My children are now 19, 21 and 23. We had people tell us not to co-sleep as well. Best advice ever - You do you! Whatever works for you! :) All the best to you and your family!
I highly recommend looking into "baby booties" instead of socks! I get mine on Amazon for very little. They stay on, even in several sizes too big because they are secured with velcro. They are also perfect to layer over socks when you're going out in the serious cold. They were such a life changer for me!
Morning sweetie keeping you in my prayers for a safe and blessed delivery. And fingers crossed that it’s a GIRL, cause all those boys are starting to out number you.😘
I love the flannel receiving blankets- both of my babies have spit up a lot and flannel receiving blankets always win out over muslin for me because they're more absorbent
I just had my 6th in July. My baby item list was pretty identical to this! I would add in a nose frida and the 'love to dream' sleep sacks have been a wonderful alternative to swaddling! The can still find their hands have those natural reflexes. I lean toward the bare minimum and you can always make a target run or Amazon order for something if you decide you need it after baby is here.
I'm due in less than a week and half with my second. I just love all of your videos. I hope you have a healthy delivery and I can't wait to see what you are having! 💕
I am about to have our first baby and I am also putting all their clothes and blankets into a basket near my bed. I also purchased a rolling cart for all the home birth supplies and it will be my roving nursing/changing station postpartum. Nursery set ups are so cute but I got to see how unnecessary all that furniture is with a newborn when my siblings were born. Less is more when it comes to babies!
I love all your videos and this one was so cozy🥰 My husband & I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years. We found a new doctor & think we have figured things out now to make it happen. Hopefully I can refer back to this video in the near future 🙏❤️
Velcro or snap booties! I just got a cream pair from burts bees for my baby girl (also due end of October). A) they actually stay on B) they look like shoes if you want to go out C) you only need one pair per size because baby feet don't sweat. It is my only clothing purchase because I have a boy and a girl-- we also like to keep it super minimal. We only use sleepers for NB size-- which our babies have grown out of in 2-3 weeks. My all time favorite baby item is a kimono style snap up gown from Parade Organics via Amazon in size 3-6 mo which is lasted us from around 2 mo to 9 mo and was so cozy and easy to take on and off. It comes in lots of gorgeous gender neutral colors. Mine is a muted peach color which makes that sweet baby skin look even more soft and glowy. I'm also looking into getting a second solly because I've used mine so much and I want to be able to wash it more often this time around!
Also would love to hear from you how you came to the decision to have such a large family, and are you finding that your preconceptions of having a large family were accurate? How much of a role does hubby play in the first 6 months because it seems that it's primarily you and the baby together all the time. Lastly, now that you've gone this long not knowing boy or girl, why not wait and be surprised? You've prepared everything to go either way! Wishing you and your family the best of health.
Sock Savers are amazing!!! They will keep the socks in place all day! They are little nylon bands that go over the sock! I’m expecting baby number 7 as well, and have used them for all my babies.
It is so beautiful that your baby will be a "wardrobe mainstay" for the first 6 months. "Down is not really an option with 6 siblings." ;-} It is precisely parents like you who should have many children. Now, that the heat of summer has past and farm chores are less (hopefully), is a perfect time for a newborn. Many blessings and thank you for sharing.
I love sleepers for fall and winter newborns. I also love cloth diapers with Thirstiest 2 size system being my favorite. I softy blanket for over the carseat is great for fall babies. New tennis shoes for daily fall walks.
Hi, Lisa! Just wanted you to know that I find your videos so inspiring and wholesome! My child-bearing days have long since passed, with my youngest being 28 years old lol but I'm definitely enjoying the grandchildren now. I do wear out very quickly, but looking back to my younger days, right after my last of 3 sons was born, I felt pressured to get my tubes tied, and so just 10 weeks after he was born, I went through with it (I was only 25 at the time!) and much to my dismay about 5 years later when we were in a much better place, I felt the desire to have another baby....but obviously could not..... I totally went through a grieving process because of this hasty decision I made while still 2 months post partum...😢 😢😢 I totally admire your strength and determination to just be who you are and not let "society" dictate or pressure you to quit having children. I was young and naive, obviously, and just wanted to please others...😢 Looking back, I'd never make such an important decision while still under such hormonal changes. And, I tell every woman I can, to not let others pressure you into getting your tubes tied....that's NONE of their business!
Awe I had no idea we were due date twins! Im due end of October as well. I love the basket idea for clothing, I may adopt that method for the first few months too, thank you!
You are such a love.....I'm m seeing this October 27th....so you may have already had your baby, but my prayers are with you all the same. Much love to you, dear Mama
Love baby wearing! I've loved the boba wrap, ring sling, ergo baby classic, and a lillebaby toddler carrier. My 3 year old still asks to go on my back.
Hi Lisa! I really enjoy these videos that involve the planning for babies. I remember with your last baby, your midwife didn't want you coming up and down the stairs. Are you planning to move your bedroom downstairs where the dining room is before the baby arrives? It might make things easy for you. I'm a pretty restless mommy and get easily itching to start getting about after my baby was born. But having my baby in the same floor made things much more simple to rest and get about. Would also be nice to see your set up in your bedroom for the managing and care of your newborn. Also, looking forward in the future to seeing a victorian farmhouse nursery tour. Thanks for sharing!🤗
One thing I used to keep baby out of reach of siblings was the Halo bassinet. I kept it in the main part of the house between the kitchen and the living room on the highest setting, so that my toddlers couldn’t reach in. I put a boppy inside to keep the baby snuggled nicely.
I love it. When I was having my 5th I felt as if I'd finally perfected the routine. I'm sure with number 7 you're good to go! Best of everything to you and enjoy these days before the new little mite arrives.
The best time of my life was when my daughter was born..I can still remember our home smelt like roses honestly they are a gift from heaven ...Your a natural all the best
So excited for you and your family! Even though my daughter’s are all grown up I love your ideas. I had my daughters in the early 90’s and I too wrapped both of them at that time. I loved it and so did they! I’m so glad that you won’t be having a “gender” reveal… just not a fan of that. I’m old fashioned! Can’t wait to see your new bundle of Joy! Many Blessings.
So exciting!!!! When my 3rd was born ( the first girl) she slept in a large laundry basket next to my side of the bed for the first 4 months when she wasn't in bed nursing. We had a double bed, with a box spring on the floor so not much room for baby in bed with me And hubby safely. For our two boys we had borrowed a little wooden crib for the bedside and gave it back because we thought we weren't having anymore kiddos lol. She was a surprise! I fit a firm piece of foam in the bottom of the basket from the craft store and it worked perfectly. Babies don't have to be super expensive. I cannot believe the prices on some of the baby beds that they only fit in for 6 months!😳
Just had my fifth a few weeks ago. I also stay minimal with babies. My kids live in sleepers until they're walking age... Everything is one piece and simple. In hot months, just a white onesie will do.
You're wrap video is how I found you! Also I wanted to recommend to you the book nourishing traditions there's also a pregnancy and baby version of the book and it's great. It follows a lot of the things you already do
Wishing you and baby a healthy delivery. I’m sure the whole family is excited. The soft and sweet little baby clothes are so adorable. I’m hoping for a girl.
I commend you for co-sleeping with your babies. I know it's controversial, but I did it with both my kids and I do not regret it at all. They are teenagers now and I am so thankful I made those memories with them. My inlaws were so nasty to me about it, telling me how "spoiled" my kids were going to be and criticizing me for being "way too soft." I have to say, I have the sweetest teenagers now and both I and my husband are very close with them. Cosleeping definitely doesn't spoil your children at all. From my 16 years of being a mom, through much trial and error, I've learned (and continue to learn) that what kids need most is love, understanding, and guidance. All the best with your labour and delivery!! =)
Baby socks are such a pain, they never stay one, haha! Instead of multiple pairs of socks just get 1 pair of the little snap on booties. Burts Bees makes one, it's so soft and cozy and stays on their little teeny feet!
It’s called a ring sling lol. It’s my favorite for newborns especially when I’m out running errands because it’s easy on and off. I get overheated easily when I am postpartum so wearing stretchy wraps the whole day isn’t much of an option and tiring one of those in the parking lot is annoying. I hope you love you ring sling! I also love onbuhimos when they are big enough to go on your back because it doesn’t have a buckle.
Stop making me have baby fever 😆 Love the minimization of clothes or the color scheme esp for fall/winter coming up. I always minimize too but havent ever done well w the basic colors.
Maybe someone already mentioned this, but as a nanny for 9 years, my favorite baby-sock trick is to put them on up over the pants cuff! Just a few inches over the edge of the bottoms of the pants legs seems to hold them on those slippery feet much longer (as in, longer than 30 seconds, lol)! And some socks are so cute, you actually might WANT the entire things to show and not get covered up by their pants. So hopefully this helps you and perhaps some others as well! I know it could be considered dorky, but it certainly is the most practical way to put socks on babies! 😆
Another sock idea is robeez brand. Over half of my babies have long thin feet, and robeez socks stayed on great because of the elastic around the ankle🙂
Love Robeez! Also, Zutano makes a really awesome little fleece slipper! I only used Zutano slippers for my last baby, no socks, and it was amazing. They don’t fall off and don’t get lost!
🥰💕Wishing you a beautiful & easy delivery. Best advice I always say that giving birth is like training for a triathlon. I know you’re ready. So get your feet up as much as you can & get enough rest for the big day. Usually the last days we have all this energy to start new projects & then our body’s are so sorry the next day. Extreme self care & slow down just a little. I know that’s hard to do. 🥰💕💐🍀
We’re about to have our 4th any day now and I’ve just got the basics. People ask me why I have so little and I’ve just learned after several children that the basics is all I’ve ever used or needed. I will be using the moby wrap this time around so I hope I have success with it!
I would do anything to have another precious little baby in my life. My boys are young men already, hard to cuddle them now. Lol. You very blessed to have many bundles of joy. I'm so happy and excited for you and your family💕. May God bless and keep you all.
I loved padraig wool booties from Canada. They are pricey but well made and last a year. They are lined w fleece and very well made. Also Zutano fleece boots are perfect and I prefer over socks. Agree re woven wraps and ring slings. Loved girasol and storchenweige brands
Sorry for multiple comments, lol. Love the bamboobies nursing pads! And love love love latched mama. I hoard baby carriers. I recently scored a brand new in box all weather lille baby carrier for $8!!!!
I just had my 7th baby and this time around I got a new diaper bag. It's really just a nicer faux leather backpack but it felt fun to get something new.
Girl,,,,,all three of my babies (all boys) slept with me or in my room until they were at least 18 months or so. I love attachment parenting. That was my style.
I'm due in a few days with #4 and am so happy that we're due around the same time- I have been loving following along with what you're doing and it's been inspirational to me! God bless😊
I’m so happy and excited for your family! I wish I had this information when I had my first baby 18 yrs ago! So simple and so nurturing! Of course baby should be on mama most of the time. 😊
I'd like to hear how you plan on caring for the amount of children that you currently have in the event of emergencies or in the event of our potential food shortage, etc.
Can you do a video on postpartum and your body if you are comfortable. I don’t have any kids but I’ve talked to a few moms who are struggling with pelvic floor issues and a few other things. Thank you love your videos!
Awww, Lisa, so sweet and loving. Babies are a joyous part of life, I'm happy for you & Luke to be so exceptionally blessed. May God continue to bless you and your entire family. Amen.

my babies always has cold feet don't know if that normal but did put little sock under their sleepers. this was so many years ago when you did not ever know what sex of your babies would be. lol
Thanks Lisa 😊 I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second (will never get to 7 I think 😂) and this haul gave me a few ideas of what to get ! My first winter baby, I have a few warm clothes to buy !
Instead of socks I used tights under leggings/pants for my fall/winter babies. It was a great extra layer for the colder months. I love your choice of baby clothes! 😍 I wish you all the best in the rest of your pregnancy and labor/delivery! 🤗
I am having my 5th my first winter baby, and I got one pair of tights and was wondering if it would work well with a newborn baby or not, my previous babies were fall/late summer and much bigger by winter and it worked when they were on the floor and stuff but I haven't had to worry about socks etc.. With my others, until they were bigger and they wouldn't fall off as easy. Its like haveng my first all over again!!
I told my girls when they wrre having their kids that a newborn baby can sleep in a drawer as well as a crib. As long as they are loved, fed, cared for thats what is importa. No need for fancy gadgets etc. They will only be babies for so long. Enjoy them!
As a mother of ten, I realized quickly that you really only need about a 10th of what people tell you you do. Good luck.
how is it being a mom of ten?

I love the flannel receiving blankets- both of my babies have spit up a lot and flannel receiving blankets always win out over muslin for me because they're more absorbent
I just had my 6th in July. My baby item list was pretty identical to this! I would add in a nose frida and the 'love to dream' sleep sacks have been a wonderful alternative to swaddling! The can still find their hands have those natural reflexes. I lean toward the bare minimum and you can always make a target run or Amazon order for something if you decide you need it after baby is here.
My youngest child is 31 and I still enjoy watching these videos! 😉
I'm due in less than a week and half with my second. I just love all of your videos. I hope you have a healthy delivery and I can't wait to see what you are having! 💕
Beat of luck for your delivery 😍💕❤😊
I am about to have our first baby and I am also putting all their clothes and blankets into a basket near my bed. I also purchased a rolling cart for all the home birth supplies and it will be my roving nursing/changing station postpartum. Nursery set ups are so cute but I got to see how unnecessary all that furniture is with a newborn when my siblings were born. Less is more when it comes to babies!
I'm 19 weeks pregnant with our second child, and this was exactly what I needed. So cute! Also, very excited for you and your family ❤
Congrats!!
Congrats!!!! Wooo!
I love all your videos and this one was so cozy🥰 My husband & I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years. We found a new doctor & think we have figured things out now to make it happen. Hopefully I can refer back to this video in the near future 🙏❤️
Praying for you and your future little one!
The outfits are adorable, just love seeing all the baby items. Looking forward to seeing what you're having.
Pretty! Gap socks are the best. They do not fall off
I love your selection of baby clothes!
The neutrals are classic!
You are beautiful in all you do for yourself and your family!❤️
My go-to was always Ring Slings. I Did use woven wraps once my kiddos were toddlers though..My add would be cloth diapers☺️
Hope you get your baby Girl and will be praying for you and you’re new Child!!! May God Bless you and love you always!!!
I love sleepers for fall and winter newborns. I also love cloth diapers with Thirstiest 2 size system being my favorite. I softy blanket for over the carseat is great for fall babies. New tennis shoes for daily fall walks.
I love baby clothes. I just had my third boy 12 weeks ago. He is currently snuggled up in my arms. Your home is beautiful.
Hi, Lisa!
Just wanted you to know that I find your videos so inspiring and wholesome!
My child-bearing days have long since passed, with my youngest being 28 years old lol but I'm definitely enjoying the grandchildren now. I do wear out very quickly, but looking back to my younger days, right after my last of 3 sons was born, I felt pressured to get my tubes tied, and so just 10 weeks after he was born, I went through with it (I was only 25 at the time!) and
much to my dismay about 5 years later when we were in a much better place, I felt the desire to have another baby....but obviously could not..... I totally went through a grieving process because of this hasty decision I made while still 2 months post partum...😢 😢😢
I totally admire your strength and determination to just be who you are and not let "society" dictate or pressure you to quit having children.
I was young and naive, obviously, and just wanted to please others...😢
Looking back, I'd never make such an important decision while still under such hormonal changes.
And, I tell every woman I can, to not let others pressure you into getting your tubes tied....that's NONE of their business!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm thrilled to hear you are enjoying following along with us...thank you for being here.
I sure hope you have a girl this time! She will be so spoiled and loved by her big brothers and sisters. You look beautiful Lisa!
One thing I used to keep baby out of reach of siblings was the Halo bassinet. I kept it in the main part of the house between the kitchen and the living room on the highest setting, so that my toddlers couldn’t reach in. I put a boppy inside to keep the baby snuggled nicely.
Touched by nature organic socks worked great for us! They stayed on really well. There are some really nice neutrals available. Found on Amazon.
It follows a lot of the things you already do
The baby and childcare book is my favorite! My copy is SO worn out! 💓
Wool booties with Velcro closure. Great cozy alternative to socks and stay put better.
Wishing you and baby a healthy delivery. I’m sure the whole family is excited. The soft and sweet little baby clothes are so adorable. I’m hoping for a girl.
Each his own…lol. I love color and patterns. I do love cozy and soft.
I love sleep sacks it’s the safe way to swaddle a baby. Love love love them and so much safer then blankets
Awwww, nostalgia. I discovered you when I saw your minimalist haul for Daniel. Came for the baby stuff, stayed for the farm stuff.
I love the k tan for the first few months then I switch to Tula structured carrier..
Baby socks are such a pain, they never stay one, haha! Instead of multiple pairs of socks just get 1 pair of the little snap on booties. Burts Bees makes one, it's so soft and cozy and stays on their little teeny feet!
You are such a great mom….enjoy every minute of all those kids!! They grow up so fast (my youngest is 26 now)
It’s called a ring sling lol.
If you have a little girl, I hope that Ruthie will make her baby sister a pretty pink dress! I am so happy for your family. God bless you all!
Wow Lisa 7th baby! God bless you and your growing family.
Stop making me have baby fever 😆
Love the minimization of clothes or the color scheme esp for fall/winter coming up.
I always minimize too but havent ever done well w the basic colors.
Good to be prepared since you don't know if winter will arrive early or even the baby will.
Everything is just beautiful and so cozy looking. I love these types of videos. Congratulations! Can't wait to see your little one.
Hopefully the Lord will give your grand babies some day 🥰
@@GoodPersonTestWebsite 😂 let's hope so, the youngsters of today tend to marry late in life, hopefully I'll be around till then! 💕
@@shanimarais9695 chop chop kiddos!! 🤣
I love all the neutrals and we’ve used the mamaroo swing with all our babies it’s by far one of my best purchases along with the snuggle me.
Yay! I’m pregnant with number 4 and every time I’ve been pregnant I become obsessed with your baby videos, this was uploaded right on time 🤣❤️
I loved padraig wool booties from Canada.
I love your ideas, nice and simple, no waist and most of all your baby will be warm and comfortable
Praying for you through this pregnancy and for a safe birth and healthy baby
I'd like to hear how you plan on caring for the amount of children that you currently have in the event of emergencies or in the event of our potential food shortage, etc.
Can you do a video on postpartum and your body if you are comfortable. I don’t have any kids but I’ve talked to a few moms who are struggling with pelvic floor issues and a few other things. Thank you love your videos!
Awww, Lisa, so sweet and loving. Babies are a joyous part of life, I'm happy for you & Luke to be so exceptionally blessed. May God continue to bless you and your entire family. Amen.
Oooh thanks for posting this. Love these babies outfits. I always wanna do this color scheme but the dang yellow baby poop!!! Lol
I'm only 5 weeks with our first and im binge watching every pregnancy/baby video I can find but I always seem to come back your channel 🥰 we live in missouri too. New Haven. So good to see your videos pop up 🥰
Hi to a fellow Missourian! Prayers to you as you begin your pregnancy journey (:
my babies always has cold feet don't know if that normal but did put little sock under their sleepers. this was so many years ago when you did not ever know what sex of your babies would be.
Yes!
@Sarah benz.h
Tights have worked well at any age for my babies, including newborn stage. I wish you all best in your pregnancy! ❤️
You are just glowing! So excited for your family! 🧡
I told my girls when they wrre having their kids that a newborn baby can sleep in a drawer as well as a crib. As long as they are loved, fed, cared for thats what is importa. No need for fancy gadgets etc. They will only be babies for so long. Enjoy them!
