Beautiful car. It's weird to me that people want to keep them sealed up, and I'm sure they think the same of me. Although when I saw the tagger comment my brain shorted out.
Micro Trains posted a video about the making of this car last year when these first came out, it is unbelievable how many parts go into making the car. They really stepped up their game on this one. Unfortunately, the graffiti series (but not the weathered only) may be dead due to legal action taken by taggers. It is a ridiculous world!
It is weird for sure. I guess they will just have to hire graffiti artists to make unique to MTL only art that isn't on the side of a real car, just do it on computer.
I got one of these myself. I did notice that there were a few small detail parts on sprues that came inside the jewel box, but there's no instructions on where or how to apply them.
This is the first of a set of three coming out. I really like these TTX cars, the yellow and black really stand out.
They finally addressed ride height, great cars
Hi Bob, The weight on my boxcar was loose too. I secured it back with a little CA. Another fine MT release! Mike
I didn't have any CA so it snapped back into place, hasn't shaken loose yet.
Nice!
