- Use Universal Scene Description - 3d model - files in DaVinci Resolve. Benefit? The materials are applied automatically - most of the time - when importing the 3d model. If you have a 3D file in another format, say an FBX, I also show you how to use Blender to do the conversion to USD or DAE and how to apply the materials.

You are truly impressive! YOU are the best!
Looking forward to even more 3D please with Davinci! Is it possible to add a URenderer(USD) to our 3D scene (ex:Merge3D) which we used via the CameraTracker?
Otherwise, how do we add a USD to our video/scene?
Thank you and congratulations. You have a new subscriber!
Great information regarding actual use of USD. I like how your videos go through the same issues I would have trying to do the same things. Thanks!
I hope it was helpful. I wanted to see what the USD nodes were all about and it's a start. I only showed simple models as my PC chokes on more complex ones, but when the USD models work it's nice to have the textures applied within one node.
@@JackallDigital Agreed! I can't tell you how many times I've had trouble bringing in fbx files
