Pretty cool screws (and screw-containing devices) you got there! Especially those Xeons.
That Thermaltake HSF puts current RGB things to shame with that amount of cables. Loved the UV CCFL fan and that Apevia case with analog meters.

I just bought an ESS Audiodrive 1688F..yours has the wavetable expansion daughterboard, JEALOUS! tracking down one of those is unobtanium unless you spend a whole DOS PC's value on aftermarket modern options..though im having trouble getting CD audio in, its got headers for mitsumi, sony and standard on top, then right by the jacks which is very handy, unisound wasnt able to pick up the card at all either despite being supported, but a standard driver did work so i could make sure the card was working, will have to run some CD copy games like quake 2, its otherwise a fantastic card for DOS, when i heard rise of the triad vs the vibra 16XV it was just..huge, though the ALS 100/120 and Crystal cheap specials to be fair werent the worst..they just dont have any expansion options..

Já tyhle videa prostě miluju. Jsem rád, že i někdo na české UA-cam scéně dělá videa tohoto typu. Zrovna včera jsem si objednal HD 6950, ASROCK X58 EXTREME 3 a i7-950 na "retro" 2010 build (divný nazývat 2010 retro, ale čas letí). Na rozdíl od většiny retro hardware komunity jsem o hodně mladší, ale za to mě to fascinuje ještě více, protože díky tomu můžu vidět, co jiní měli šanci prožít. Super videa, rád se na ně koukám. :-)

Just sniped an auction for asylum 5950U 256mb at only $80 us. Got me in the mood for some retro hardware. thanks for sharing. I've been seeing those apevias come up in auction listings a lot lately, but they're never in good shape. I might take another look at them after seeing yours. I don't have any good old aluminum cases. I've tried to buy a few in the past but they all showed up bent and twisted out of shape. People need to be more careful since they are aluminum and softer metal.

It is P35 board with DDR3 and poor PCIE 8x 8x slots, X38 was much better those days ... it is interesting more how it looks before performance
@@RETROHardware It has a seperate LCD Panel and has IO shield light. Currently I am running QX9650 with Mars GTX 760X2 with that motherboard. I wish I could make you see my Build tho. Many thanks btw for Your answer. Been a honour to talk. :)

Yep my hands are like welding sticks minimum 300Amps, every card I touch is dead and getting hole in to GPU. 👍👍👍
static electricity dose not kill computer parts. linus tech tips has got a video on it. And also if static electricity kill electricity stuff. then every electricity product you touch would be dead. like you phone / computer parts ./ tv's and so on
