Too bad on the x58 classified. That is one I've been looking for, but I am cheap. I never pay much for old hardware. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a deal on one missing the cooler.

Thats sad, that the Powercolor Devil 13 HD7990 didnt work, as well as the x2 GTX295 and GTX8800 EVGA cards, and that gorgeous Motherboard probably savaged beyond repair. Glad to see the Classified EVGA GTX580 water blocked card still works thats awesome. I feel your pain on the stuff that didnt work however. Mushkin made Graphics Cards??? i thought they where a Gaming Memory Company around the early DDR3 period. Didnt know Galaxy had been going that long and what a bueatiful white pcb card thats awesome.

Trick for prototype cards (doesn't always work but worth a try every time) install a similar card and install the driver pack, then shut down and swap to prototype card... and it fools the system like 80% of the time, enough to play games roughly as they should.

I follow you for many years. You have amazing collection of GPUs, much larger than other retro tech youtubers. But all videos usually come down to unboxing bunch of second hand stuff. I always thought you should do a dedicated review series of each card individually, especially early 2000s models. Maybe share a bit of history, use some standard benchmarks to show performance increase over the years etc. It requires requires time to research, do b-rolls, edit videos and scripts, but it would be something unique as others do not have amount of hardware you have.
That mushkin graphics card is super interesting! I can’t find any information about it at all
Na grafickou kartu GTX 580 bys mohl udelat Frankenstein mod. Z druhé GTX 580tky uriznout VRM Část, 2.5mm2 kabelama to propojit s puvodní a napíchnout švába pro řízení voltů do jádra a pamětí. Pak udelat este shunt mod. Jednou jsem takové video viděl kde týpek dokázal gtx 580tku přetaktovat o skoro 600MHz na jádro a 450MHz na pamětích. Chlazeno vodníkem s direct die blokem ( nutnost de-lidnout ten extra velkej heatspredr ). Výkonově byl skoro na úrovni GTX 770. Ty muzes jádro chladit kompresorem. Byl by to celkem zajimavej projekt. Problem s obycejnou 580tkou je napajeci kaskáda která bohuzel ten extra výkon nezvládne. Uz i tak kdyz samotnou pretaktujes se shunt módem tak jsi defakto limitovan pouze napájecí kaskádou. Tá vydrží zhruba špičky neco kolem 400W, 580tka bez shunt módu s pretaktovaním na maximum žere zhruba 340

Bit jealous of that devil 13 HD 7990 having working fans, though i was lucky to find not one but three hd 7990's which has unstable overclocks (925 mhz & reference memory clock they are 100% stable.)
And with no properly working fans lol.
Two reference models, i think asus & gigabyte & a powercolor hd 7990 AX7990-6GBD5-2DHJ
Also just got too the evga 1366 board, man that sucks it's been damaged like that at some point.
This is so sad that the LGA1366 motherboard is damage.

10:45 ah u have EVGAs weird physx card, that thing uses a dual gpu cooler but only has one normal gpu on it, the other second gpu is used as a dedicated physx accelerator

That V10 was reviewed not long ago,by some Russian tech-tuber.
Not a good cooler.
TEC's on traditional heatsinks simply won't work. Your throwing in so much power for only 10 degree lower temps. A 240mm AIO these days would perform better. Tec's work if you can build a water chiller with it, and have pretty much free energy.
