You anchor your picking hand with your pinkie, interesting.

also capo upside down . I learned “ Thick as a Brick “ watching her cover rather than the tutorials available because none were as good for me . It’s a little fast but that actually helped me master it and now I bring it down to Tull’s tempo . this was nice as well

Mark Kennedy; That's very common among Travis pickers, but not really advisable.

@@robpattison6606 I don't know about "upside down", but covering all the but the low E-string with the capo on the second fret is equivalent to drop-D tuning transposed up a major second.

@@jeffryphillipsburns oh I see . didn’t even notice it didn’t cover the 1st string ! bad eyes ... I’ll have to try that . at 63 and playing since 14 I’ve only started messing w slide and capo this year . I know . you don’t have to say ;)

I came here expecting the Eben Ahbez standard. (By "original", I thought the singer meant her first rendition of the tune). Reminds me of a story I read about the Rolling Stones: Keith Richards and Mick Jagger originally wanted to give their song "As Years Go By" the title "As Time Goes By". Their manager Andrew Oldham said no. It would have been perfectly legal, mind you--you can't copyright a song title--but probably not a good idea. The cheekiest example of this sort of thing I know comes from the group Badfinger. There's a song on their second album called "Love Me Do", and it's not by Lennon-McCartney.
