I find that when on a bike trip, rain and adverse weather is one of those things that is a hardship when you're there, but later on is also the most memorable moments of the trip. Take your time, use good gear, and it's all good!
Amanda, I think you might have single handedly motivated more people to go to various parts of Montana than their tourism board. Great job. Yes, I am one of those people.
Hey there! Been watching this series over the past few weeks. It’s been great and some really nice views. I would say it’s been your best work yet! I was fortunate to bump into you guys at the lobby of the Super 8 in Dillion. I still got my sticker! That was so cool and it made riding in the rain (and hail) that day, all the way from Ogden UT., so worth it. A real UA-cam celebrity!! Thank you for the sticker! Hope to see you guys on the road again.
I kinda want to incorporate most of this loop, but only paved roads, on my way to BC next year. Loved this series. It had all the hot spots, rain, good food, rain, scenery, rain, historic sites, rain, and good food. Oh and two of the best hosts presenting it all. ❤❤
Amanda, you have been such an inspiration in my journey as a female on a motorcycle. I’m a noob at 6mnths and learning everyday. You remind us ladies that we can get out and do the thang to. Great series, I definitely have Pekin Noodle in Butte on my list. When I saw your video, I got so excited about that little place I wrote it on my wall. Keep up the great work!
Having grown up in Missoula I have been all of those places but I think I would like to revisit the Big Whole Valley and Virginia City. Great group of videos show casing some of western Montana. Thanks Amanda and Gary.
What a great series! I've really enjoyed it. Gary's narratives were unexpected and added a great deal. And for the record, when I think of Montana, I don't think of Glacier, or Yellowstone or even of the Missouri River and Great Falls. I think of the world's most nearly perfect pasture in the Bitterroot Valley and its unique hot tub.
That was GREAT ! The weather looked disheartening but you two are real troopers. I cannot believe your "dances" in the rain don't inspire "brother" to join. I hear so many good things about Virginia City that I will have to check it out. Its a "long way" from TEXAS for a 74 year old, but I ride a Trike now so I will look into it for next year. THANK YOU for sharing !!!!
What a lovely series. Absolutely love the remoteness. Thanks for doing what you do. We are worlds apart in the UK but love seeing America from different angles. Ride safe.
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. We want to visit every one of the places you showed. Maybe because it’s fresh in my mind, Virginia City is one place I’d love to go. I used to think I wanted to ride your Pilgrimage ride, but now I think retracing this trip would be better. Thanks Amanda! You’re an inspiration!
what schools need is a history course where students ride motorcycles to historic sites and learn about history like you presented here. academics would never be the same
Nice to see you and brother sharing the adventure. This looks like a beautiful area. The only thing missing is a small creek and a fishing pole. Trout for breakfast.
Such a fun area. I went through all those places just a couple days after the PNW meetup. Your video has way better b-roll and info on Bannack than mine did. With that rain I see why you didn't stop, the big hole visitors center is a very neat stop for anyone hasn't been there before. End screen question is hard, I have been to almost all of them, but would like to spend more time in the Koocanusa area, that is the area I have explored the least.
Fantastic series! Sad it’s over. Now I must go to Virginia City! How had I never heard of this place?! I’ve been to one in Nevada. Another reason to go back to Montana! Thank you! B
Just went to Montana on my bike. It is a great ride. Loved Malta. Billings. Custers last stand. Saw Bison. Lots if Cattle. People are very friendly.🎅🏼🏍🇺🇸🦬🦌😍
I think Gary should be the voice we listen to on Audible. He has a great narration voice!!! Great video as usual and I'm sad the brother and sister travel is over. more please!!
Thanks for sharing your travels. Well done! Got to visit Virginia City again during my August 2022 Moto travels in Mt. A cool little preserved town. Bannack in 2014 while doing the continental divide ride. ♥️ Montana and the people!!
Dillon to Lost Trail is a wonderful area to explore. Been there many times. Highly recomend Lemhi Pass (if it is dry). Another area you could explore is The Palouse to Columbia River. Some wonderful paved roads thru here. Late June is full green and rain has stopped.
Hamilton would be the place I now want to visit. That burger place sounded amazing. Always good vibes coming from your content. You're 1 in a million Amada. Eric
So good as always! I've only been in the Southeast corner of Montana, near Sturgis. The next time I go west, I need to review this series, possibly copying it exactly. On your way home, is that highway 84 by the Columbia? I stayed in twin falls and followed 84 all the way to Vancouver, crossing about halfway so I could see how it looks from the other side. Rain is one thing to ride in, but snow, nobody wants that. Can't wait to see your next video drop.
Amazing video to end an awesome series!! Thank you both for sharing such great videos and inspiration to go out there and do the thing!! You guys rock!! 👌👌
Such a great series. I was so happy to see Gary not only riding with you but helping with the story telling. It was awesome. Would love to see more of this. Also, what model of tent are you using?
Great episode and series! Speaking of history, have you read either of Megan Kate Nelson’s books about the West? The Three-cornered War and Saving Yellowstone: Exploration and Preservation in Reconstruction America
I’ve never been to Montana, so I want to see EVERYTHING when I go!!! Since you’re such a history nerd, you’re going to LOVE New England when you get there. Forget 19th century, try 17th and 18th! Hit me up for places to visit when you get there from a fellow history nerd. 😊
End answer...I just want to go back to western MT any chance I can. I drive that last stretch through Jackson at least 6x a year to visit Mom in Conner. So I guess my real answer is to do it on my bike with minimal time constraints. Loved this series and really liked the additional narration from your brother.
I don't know that there is ONE place, I'm just posting up a little appreciation for you to share al of it. I was watching a series by another motovlogger, I won't name names, but he trailered a motorcycle through a handful of the most beautiful countries of the world, did only about 1 hour of riding, and didn't really seem to engage with his surroundings at all... it was just so lame. Your stuff is the opposite of that and I think it's great.
Considering the abysmal weather the two of you endured on this leg, I would love to hear your thoughts about the riding gear your wore and how it held up!
It doesn't have two different set of poles, you can just unhook the tent body from the poles from the inside that's all. Tent: motocampnerd.com/products/big-agnes-copper-spur-hv-ul2-bikepack?ref=Magpie
Really, really enjoyed this series! Kind of bummed it had to, as all things inevitably do, come to an end. Really enjoyed brother Gary being along, hope another series with him is in the future! The one place you definitely put on my bucket list was Blackfoot Pathways! It looked absolutely amazing! But I would love to go to every place you highlighted in this series!
I grew up in NE Montana but I think as an adult that goes back to visit I really just love that no matter where you are in the state she makes you feel small but not in a bad way. As an FYI the forest service roads between Ennis and Virginia City are also a lot of fun.
I would want to go and do the continental divide road Amanda and her brother did not get a chance to do because they were foiled by the snow in episode 1or 2
I have really enjoyed this series with you and your brother. Having had the opportunity to meet all your family, watching the two of you interact and travel together is a wonderful treat! Keep up the travels!
You expect me to pick just one place I want to visit in Montana?!? When Aly and I came through for RMR6, we both fell in love with Montana. I just want to come back and see what ever I can of your beautiful state.
Oh wow! so very cool! I love all the 19th Century history around here in Australia too. I went through so many old mining towns on my recent 5000km 2 week bike trip, I was also in my happy place in them. I find it all so fascinating. It looked like you had an awesome trip, great countryside to grow up in!
Myself and three friends plan to visit Yellowstone and Bear Tooth from Texas later this year, maybe late July. And other points west. See ya on the road, chin up wheels down.

Very true!
I've been all over Montana in an 18 wheeler, but can't wait to do ALL of Montana on 2!
Amanda, I think you might have single handedly motivated more people to go to various parts of Montana than their tourism board. Great job.
Yes, I am one of those people.
So awesome you shared this with your Brother - love this series…nice job!!!

I remember that! lol that was pretty cool. Safe travels friend maybe we will cross paths again one day.

Your Brother is an excellent narrator, and in this collaboration, you are the star performer in this movie, highlighting historical points.
Amazing area of the country, I would love to spend some serious time in Montana.
Amanda, you have been such an inspiration in my journey as a female on a motorcycle. I’m a noob at 6mnths and learning everyday. You remind us ladies that we can get out and do the thang to. lol I'm not a dancing kind of guy. Unless I been drinkin. But I don't drink anymore so....
Nice series! It's on the bucket list to get some road time in Montana. Never thought of taking the tent down from inside out! ✅️ 😆
Have Family in Livingston...well actually Clyde Park ! I love Montana in the summer but you can keep the winter ! lol
What a lovely series. Absolutely love the remoteness. Thanks for doing what you do. We are worlds apart in the UK but love seeing America from different angles. Ride safe.
Montana is and has been #1 on my bucket list for a long time, it is one of three states I have not been in yet. I am 55, running out time
Hello from Borneo, awesome and beautiful country ride. It’s very relaxing watching educational historical places in Montana. Thumbs up! 👍

Nice to see you and brother sharing the adventure. This looks like a beautiful area. The only thing missing is a small creek and a fishing pole. Trout for breakfast.
Enjoyed watching it Amanda. Having spent 4 years in Great Falls, I saw a lot, but you’ve added to my list of ride to’s.
Thank you Larry Peplinski !
Thank you. The scenery in this video is like a Russell Chatham painting brought to life.
Great series. The one place I’d like to visit is……Montana!!! in all her glory. 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
The wife and I love watching these adventure videos thank you for sharing them
Great video thank you very well done. Newfound up east as far as ya go. Thanks again cheers to ya.

My baby sister is Amanda. Hate that you got rained on so much.. enjoyed the history. The west was wild and beautiful. Enjoyed the video. RIDE SAFE!
You’re a great inspiration! Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures.
Love to come to Montana!!! The scenery is do different from home ❤ from Rob n Shirl, Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
I think Gary should be the voice we listen to on Audible. He has a great narration voice!!! Great video as usual and I'm sad the brother and sister travel is over. more please!!
Thanks! maybe I will have to audition for Audible ; )
Great series. Spending time with your brother is precious. Memories to chat about in later life
Thanks for sharing your travels. Well done! Got to visit Virginia City again during my August 2022 Moto travels in Mt. A cool little preserved town. Bannack in 2014 while doing the continental divide ride. ♥️ Montana and the people!!
Wow such beautiful country, and they have pastys there! I thought those were only a Upper Peninsula thing! how cool is that! love your channel!
As a kid I fished the big hole area all the time.loved seeing lost trail on here.
It was a fantastic series! Thank you!
So sad to see this series end. Loved it and will definitely be rewatching it. End Screen question: the Yaak! I need to get up there.
Dillon to Lost Trail is a wonderful area to explore. Been there many times. Highly recomend Lemhi Pass (if it is dry).
Another area you could explore is The Palouse to Columbia River. Some wonderful paved roads thru here. Late June is full green and rain has stopped.
I love the history lessons, and you are great narrators both of you. Big thanks to the two of you!!
Thank you for your amazing stories. I look forward to every episode.
Rain on a tent! Hooray! Hope you two stayed mostly dry.
I went through many of those places at the end of September during my USA tour, really enjoyed that part of your country
Just so you know, I don't think of Glacier NP when I think of Montana. I think of your ranch and breakfast burritos and your mom (not in a weird way).
This ghost town is so high up on my list now! History 🤓 here
I rode the continental divide this year with 4 friends and we stopped in Bannock! It was very cool, and super interesting to read the history
Hamilton would be the place I now want to visit. That burger place sounded amazing. Always good vibes coming from your content. You're 1 in a million Amada. Eric

Great series! I'm sad to see it come to an end.
Great episode and series! Speaking of history, have you read either of Megan Kate Nelson’s books about the West? The Three-cornered War and Saving Yellowstone: Exploration and Preservation in Reconstruction America
That steak looked absolutely amazing. Its officail. Westen Montana has been added to the motorcycle bucket list.
I've eaten a lot of steak. But the steak there is hands down the best I've ever had!
I’ve never been to Montana, so I want to see EVERYTHING when I go!!!

❤️ the series, thanks!
Glad you enjoy it!
Beautiful country and wonderful people
Great video! I need to make it out there
Loved the series but since I've never been west of Oklahoma, I just want to visit Montana in general. Retirement is 2.5 years away though. ;)
The Bannack State Park looks awesome as does the Chief Joseph Hwy. what an epically beautiful area of the country! Thanks for sharing!
I want to do the whole trip, but the Wells Fargo Steak House is high on the list. That looked so good.
Best steak ever!!
I'd like to visit Hamilton. Heck, I may copy your entire route. Thanks for bringing me along.
Yes! Check the link the description for the blog posts of this trip, I share my maps 👍
Here 🙋🏽♂️
There and everywhere….
I couldn't help but notice your AT. Is this a new bike? Do you still have the CB500X? Excellent video and thank you for sharing your experiences!
Heyyy did you watch the first episode in the series? 😊👍
Rain wind or beautiful blue skies your joy regardless of the environment is always infectious!
Montana is a beautiful place ..... even in the rain 😂
Very very good series

@@AstheMagpieFlies I did. WAY too girly for me ;- )
What tent is that? Really cool that the rain fly has its own tent poles.

Are you still riding the AT , or did you have to give it back yet.
Amazing series ❤️
lol I have exact same motorcycle boots.
Butifulll place🏍🏍

One place I'd like to visit? Everywhere is considered one place, right?
Mostly I just want to hang out with you!! :-)
Better hurry up, I'm on my 3rd beer. LOL

I think you are pretty neat lady oh, I wish I was younger
Hope it's just a bad edit but at 1:26 it didn't sound right !!!??
Thank you Amanda and Gary for the great ride and experience, Neal

Nice you get to enjoy the company of " Brother".
I have really enjoyed this series with you and your brother. Having had the opportunity to meet all your family, watching the two of you interact and travel together is a wonderful treat! Keep up the travels!
After having seen this series, I want to visit it all;)
One road that's been on my list of places to go for some time is the "Pioneer Mountains Scenic By-Way" south from Wise River.
Great series!
You expect me to pick just one place I want to visit in Montana?!? When Aly and I came through for RMR6, we both fell in love with Montana. I just want to come back and see what ever I can of your beautiful state.
