Its about time for me to start finaly delivering content! Today we will take a look at RPG 7 rocket launcher, how to use it and few little typs and tricks. Thank you very much for watching, you keep us going!
"you can see its very carefully packaged, because its a rocket"
*proceeds to unpack it indoors*
never change, valgear
It’s safe as long safety cap is on
@@Sil3nt Not really. The safety cap is just to prevent it from accidental detonation from being dropped on its nose. When it is doing 120 metres a second into your living room wall there is still a decent chance of detonation with the cap on. Not having the trigger housing cocked is safe though.
Dude I love this guy 👌 he's the man 😎
@@Sil3ntthan removes the safety cap 😂
I wish he had talked about the motor and the other charges that keeps the rocket going.
Your 'gear lessons' are top notch information quality - thank you!
Am sure it was just a translation issue, but you undersold the penetration capabilities for either warhead instead stating the warhead's diameters. The PG-7M is rated at 300mm of RHA, the PG-7L is rated at 500mm of RHA. Again another brilliant video - absolutely loving your channel - one of the best ones I've found! Thank you
i think he confused the caliber of the rockets with penetration values, the newer rocket diameters are 9.3cm while the older gen ones are 70mm.
20 years of war in the Middle East, and it takes a war in Europe to get films like this
Oh, there are loads of films like this from the Middle East, they're just in Arabic, Kurdish, Pashto...
Because they're not white
Propaganda machine in full swing they didnt need to sell the middle east 911 did that. They need to sell this war because the us government doesn't wanna loose their tax money embezzlement scheme country
Good to know. As always, you're very thorough. Take care of yourself out there.
Thank you Eric!
When you unbox new old stock like in this video can you show the crates that they come from? From a collector's point of view I find the unboxing really interesting and these videos will be priceless once (after a couple more decades) the stocks dry up and they truly become collector's pieces.
RPGs and AK platfrom/ variants will be about from the next 100 years guaranteed
I'm a bit stunned that the warhead was manufactured in 1969.
The Australian army dispose of all explosives after a set shelf life, I had assumed that TNT became too unstable/unreliable after about 40 years even in ideal storage conditions.
How old can this sort of thing be before it needs to be destroyed?
@@stevebuckley7788 en realidad se debe a la buena calidad de materiales y construcción, para esa época que aún a día de hoy ese armamento funciona y es utilizado.
Stay safe Brother. Fired the RPG7 multiple times in Afghanistan and in training and demonstration back in the states one of my favorite weapon systems. Keep up the fight and keep your head down until this mess is over.
Was it worth it ?
So the rocket is held only by that screw? Is it enough to keep the rocket in place or is there always a risk for it to slide out?
Great video btw
Not by the screw, that one is there only for positioning the rocket in tube, its held only by the friction of the last ring of the rocket, thats why Always after moveing you reseat the rocket by the hand, just to make sure that the rocket sit well, thank you for watching
OUR MAN IS ALIVE. YEEEESSS
Thank you for watching and supporting man!!!
Amazing video, please keep making these for common battlefield items like this. I've been wanting videos like this on youtube for forever. Thank you

It's every time nice to hear u are alive🙏🏻
Interesting video. Great tips! Thank you very much. I always wondered all these little intricacies about the RPG
Yo absolute awesome video! Clear, interesting and informative. Good job man.

Yesterday I found an RPG-7 in my Grandma's sewing box, finally I know how to use it. Thank you.
Thats a big sewing box.
Very interesting, seeing this much detail - thanks, and stay safe
This is really interesting. Thanks for explaining all of this.
Spaseeba, Tovarische! Great tutorial!-John in Texas
Glad to see you are still well
Well done! Very interesting & nicely communicated.
Wow im genuinely interested in your vids, keep going
Glad to see this video. I feel I learned some things about using my RPG 7 that sits in my my closet gathering dust. After this video, I'm off to the range.
Awesome highly informative video... Thank You.
Excellent Video - thank you for sharing it.
Excellent video! Glad you are doing well. 👊🏻
you beat me by 9 seconds
@132oink the early bird catches the worm. 😆
Awesome introduction to the legendary RPG-7V2. Just a question, would you prefer an RPG-7V2 over a disposable anti-tank launcher, like the RPG-18 or AT4?
For me as medic i always get single use rpg or AT4, its best to have RPG 7 specialist and let him to shoot all the time, with the trophy rockets So he become true expert, but for full potential, its necessary to have the original PGO optical sight. Thank you!
@@valgear5525 Makes sense and that insight is much appreciated! Many thanks!
Russian RPG-7 portable anti-tank missile is obsolete, optical targeting system, with 200 m effective range. The American-made Javelin missile, on the other hand, has an infrared framing system, it is autonomous, that is, with the target once selected it flies to the target even with the target in motion. And it has 4.9 km of effective range. The Russian missile ROG-7 or ROG-8 are obsolete and rudimentary compared to the American Javelin.
@@Baisfredecno campares el rpg7 se diseño como antitanque en la gerra mundial y aora solo funciona contra guerrillas y contra tankes ligeros no es un antitanque como javelin diferente rol
@@Baisfredec It's not obsolete , just a different class of weapon.
Mind you that one shot of the Javelin missile costs ~ $200 000, while one shot of rpg costs ~ $200
In essence you are comparing a single missile with a thousand missiles.
Nice watch. The bronze/brass case goes well with your camouflage.
This is a very interesting video, thank you for sharing 👍🏼
Wow fantastic video. Best I’ve seen. Thanks.
Very informative. Thank you.
Great video
Thank you very much, I am watching your chanell since I was a kid, I remember how I was watching your video about Belomo red dot, that I bought just before I went to war for a first time in 2014, legend!
Glad you alright brother 🤝 great video
Very good explanation. Thank you.
Your videos are great. Keep up the great work. 👍
In fact, the difference between price is very large and the result of use is also extremely favorable for those who have the Javelin, as Ukraine showed in the war. The Russians are scared of this Javelin missile. This has to be seen as an investment that can generate victory or defeat as the Russians are experiencing in Ukraine.
Awesome man. Keep these videos coming my dude. Stay safe.
Happy to see you're still here fren, had me worried for a little bit.
very very nice 👌🏻so many thanks 🙏🏻
Thx for tutored man now am going to have fun
very intresting videos keep it up! and stay safe!
Sweet! Thanks for teaching me how to work a rpg strange man on the internet!
Awsome video - educational
Very well done ! Thank you I was always curious
thanks for the video man
Excellent presentation.
Super informative
Thanks for the video friend very informative hope you are doing safe out there
Thank you for the knowledge transfer
I learned a little on UA-cam from a Syrian fighter a long way back when he put it all together before firing toward the enemy. This is more detailed. Good video.
Excellent instructional.
That intro was dope
Thank you
great video I always wanted to know how it worked
Outstanding!💥👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
great work. safely handling rpg inside. nose cap safety. gimers always wanted to pull off nose safety just well i don't know why. every event was teaching k1 over and over
pretty awesome video , komsu !!
Splendid!

Valgear... What country you from? The knowledge you got on this is pretty damn spot on too!!! Good video
Didn't realize how absolutely ripped Valgear was until I saw this vid
Loved it
Great video, I'm curious what style of iron sight is it?
Great video Valgear, very informative and videoquality, Thanks!
Very nice!
ဂါဇာ လူ ဟားမတ်စ် okay 👍
Best RPG-7 overview video in english
Thanks, I am now ready for my next war
Thank you for this amazing video! Greetings from Bulgaria! ;)
Hi Valgear,
Just curious how you put fully inside anti personnel rocket, any pin matching barrel like on cumulative one ? All best !
Great video.
Such a fascinating weapon.. i want one... it would be fun to shoot even without warhead..
Very nice video
Brother I hope you are well and safe I have a question regarding the safety screw on the rocket, I noticed there is a small paper/cardboard hanging under the safety screw, do you pull this paper out before or after you take off the safety screw? Do you have to pull the paper out or can you just unscrew the safety cap?
Excellent tutoriel
Thanks for that video. How far is the back blast area of the RPG7 and do you use it to launch 82mm mortar rounds too, or is that just a gimmick of some certain shooters?
Hello, the back blast is 20m ( some danger as far as 70m) there is case from 2014 from Shachtiarak battalion when guy killed 2 of his mates when they were lighting up cigaret behind him.. that 82mm mortar shell adapter, we call IT nakrut, is just a gimmick, but surprisingly common in the field...
@@valgear5525 Thank you for that fast answer, stay safe, bro!

Stay safe man 👍🏻
EPIC MOMENT!!!
These anti-personnel pencils look great. 😀
Just a man with a rocket luncher
Nicely Done.....
Came on UA-cam to learn about the history of the RPG7. Left UA-cam with a lot more.
Gorilla warfare education is what we really needed today. Thanks brothers.
Didn't know gorillas have their own warfare.
If i understand right, are you put together the rockets in combat, not before the action?
Thanks for the amazing informative video, keep up the good work and stay safe!
Yes, by the book, you assemble them in combat, but thats why you have helper, basicaly second guy who take care for assembly of rocket and reloading. Another posibility, in attack or when you just go blast few rockets from position is to assemble all of them and put them in bag upside down, but in that way they stick overhead quite a bit when you carry the backpack
I want to know if the RPG trigger can really be substituted with that from the Enfield rifle like in that Tank movie.
♥️hits the spot like coca cola ♥️👈
Thank you sir. Sir , now I understood who can used this weapon ? Interesting knowledge. Sir , I think you are very at home in rocket launcher firing. Sir ! Where do you belongs to ? I mean which country ? And army ? Please tell us.
can you please show a video where you take out the self detonator out of the warhead and increase it's range to ballistics only
How far does the rocket have to travle before it is armed and ready to explode?
In the 1980s I saw some RPG rockets with pink propellant tubes instead of the green ones you have. What is the difference between the green ones and the pink ones?
Great 👍
Great video.. The question I have is when the motor fires does the thrust go forward, towards the warhead then gets redirected back through what appears to be vents on the front warhead or is there an opening in the back of the motor?
The launcher is open at both ends
Hilarious weapon really.
Very effective in the field but with a few "minor" issues.
If you drop the rockets they might detonate
If you fall over whilst carrying a loaded RPG-7 it might detonate
If you clip the edge of a wall when you fire, it might detonate (it has no minimum range mechanism)
Basically, its lethal to the target, and semi-lethal to the user.
With regards to the PG-7VL fuze and external/internal circuitry (typically if you crush the external cone into the internal cone with cage armour you short the fuze, is this still the case with a PG-7VL rocket?), Do you have an operating manual you could share for the PG-7VL? What is the designation of the fuze used in a PG-7VL round, is the bulb made out of plastic?
Dude is like a Viet Cong / NLF back in 1967 in Vietnam..... Pretty sure I saw him in Apocalypse Now/ Platoon/ Full Metal Jacket etc......
Cant wait to see these in tarkov
Thanks again
Hello! I am wondering how common OG-7 and TBG-7 projectiles are in common usage. I have almost never seen them in footage and regularly see PG-7V/M/L used against infantry/buildings. Thank you!
Your assumption seem right in my expirience Its like 99 heat rockets out of 100, anytime i see other type, it catch immidiatly my attention...
@@valgear5525 Good to know. Interestingly, some other Ukrainian soldiers I talked to said OG-7 are extremely common. Weird.
Well thats how this country works, we all the time searching for stuff that we know for a fact that we have thousands of tuns from soviet times somewhere, all about connections and barter, as ussual..
@@valgear5525 I suppose it just depends on what area you are in and what supplies are in that area. Keep up the fight! I hope you and your unit are well.
@@supersarge24 well if a launcher is loaded with the OG-7 it looks like it's empty or maybe even a different weapon.
As soon as you see the distinctive cone shape of an RPG-7 it just stands out.
RPG 7 (soviet) un lance grenasse hyper efficace
Nice watch you have there.
I am not military but it is Good explanation ...the rpg7 means practically the first defense for many people today of their territories and lands
great
