    • @chrisbrent7487

@@Sil3nt Not really. The safety cap is just to prevent it from accidental detonation from being dropped on its nose. When it is doing 120 metres a second into your living room wall there is still a decent chance of detonation with the cap on. Not having the trigger housing cocked is safe though.

Am sure it was just a translation issue, but you undersold the penetration capabilities for either warhead instead stating the warhead's diameters. The PG-7M is rated at 300mm of RHA, the PG-7L is rated at 500mm of RHA. Again another brilliant video - absolutely loving your channel - one of the best ones I've found! Thank you

i think he confused the caliber of the rockets with penetration values, the newer rocket diameters are 9.3cm while the older gen ones are 70mm.

I'm a bit stunned that the warhead was manufactured in 1969.

Russian RPG-7 portable anti-tank missile is obsolete, optical targeting system, with 200 m effective range. The American-made Javelin missile, on the other hand, has an infrared framing system, it is autonomous, that is, with the target once selected it flies to the target even with the target in motion. And it has 4.9 km of effective range. The Russian missile ROG-7 or ROG-8 are obsolete and rudimentary compared to the American Javelin.

The Russians are scared of this Javelin missile. This has to be seen as an investment that can generate victory or defeat as the Russians are experiencing in Ukraine.

Very effective in the field but with a few "minor" issues.
If you drop the rockets they might detonate
If you fall over whilst carrying a loaded RPG-7 it might detonate
If you clip the edge of a wall when you fire, it might detonate (it has no minimum range mechanism)
Basically, its lethal to the target, and semi-lethal to the user.

Hello! I am wondering how common OG-7 and TBG-7 projectiles are in common usage. I have almost never seen them in footage and regularly see PG-7V/M/L used against infantry/buildings. Thank you!

@@valgear5525 I suppose it just depends on what area you are in and what supplies are in that area. Keep up the fight! I hope you and your unit are well.

@@supersarge24 well if a launcher is loaded with the OG-7 it looks like it's empty or maybe even a different weapon.
As soon as you see the distinctive cone shape of an RPG-7 it just stands out.
