My German Shepherd has a soft spot for a cat that likes visiting us. In the last couple of weeks they have developed a special bond and have been inseparable. She’s so into him that she allows Tiger to give her loving nib nibs while she snuggles him.

GSD's earn their "shepherd" name honestly. So protective and sweet, playful around their pack. But they are also fiercely loyal and protective. Best of both worlds. ❤
It's lovely to see that this cat has made your house its second home. Also very nice that your neighbours (who are parents of the cat) are comfortable for their cat to visit your home. We had a neighbours cat come to visit us frequently and we welcomed him with open arms. Cats love to visit homes in the neighbourhood and have alternative homes as they feel more secure knowing that there are other people around they can stay with. We found that a lot of cats would visit our home, they seem to be able to sense when a home is welcoming to cats and we always felt it was bad manners when they presented themselves either at the front or back door, to not let them in and explore the home and not let them sleep on the couch or on a bed if they wanted to.

@@leofucarev Looking at UA-cam videos of "My house but not my cat", it seems many stranger cats are visiting cat loving people uninvited. With our house where stranger cats would just appear - we didn't have cat flaps on the front or back doors and have to open them to either let our house cats out or in, and that's when we would sometimes find a stranger cat wanting to come in.
Tiger is such a sweet boy! He and kitty have such a close relationship. It's beautiful to see!!!❤❤❤

I am curious: What meal do you feed Tiger? I, too, have a long-haired GSD, but I have to be cautious of what I feed her due to allergies. I've been doing an elimination test for the past four years (the vets where I live have been zero help) to see what my GSD should stay away from. I am considering feeding raw at this point.
