You can't fix camber on a solid axle with an alignment. Every vehicle with a solid axle can get death wobble. You shouldn't be putting out information if you're not going to verify it. Bad ball joints can be a problem, and you can get cambered ball joints, but that's not a fix. It's usually bad bushing/joints in control arms, track bar, drag link, tire balance, or ball joints. Only fixing some components will lead to accelerated wear on new components. Rubber wears out and needs to be replaced. A steering stabilizer does not fix anything, but will dampen the wobble.
@@jacobcarrillo7896 the only one of my jeeps that doesn't get wheeled pretty hard is the one that currently doesn't work because it got wheeled too hard

So you're pretty much wrong death wobble is caused by something loose in the front end. One way to fix it it's going to cost you tires is set the toe in slightly one to 2°. But if tires cause the problem every time someone picked up a rock their tire will be off balance and there be a crisis Short of having a belt coming out it's loose front end components. I currently have it on my square body of course everything's pretty much original and the steering dampers dead
Its not just common to have wheel shaking problems occur in Jeep Wagoneers, its inevitable. The actual way to fix it isn't getting an alignment, it is to go to a parking lot or similar area and drive backwards in a clockwise circle with the wheel cranked all the way to the left a few times to correct the issue. It's in the drivers manual.
@@845sSuperman The Quadratrac AWD system was one of the first mass produced AWD transfer cases, so it had quirks. Sometimes it would get stuck and wouldn't fully disengage. Putting it in reverse would make the input shafts rotate the opposite direction. Which would help the collar that locked it in into "Emergency drive" slip back off the shaft and let it free spin.
I've found the reason for death wobble is usually the track bar or caster angle or a mix of the two. If we're talking about a lifted jeep typically the problem is related to caster angle and there is also worn parts or loose track bar bolt. But I've seen horribly loose worn out front ends on lifted jeeps go down the road just fine with proper caster angle. I've never experienced death wobble in any of my own jeeps but I've fixed it in a handful of other peoples jeeps. I've heard some people say if you experience death wobble it ruins your front tires because of the violent force they go through something about the belts inside or something. I've also ran unbalanced large tires with no death wobble. Good caster does a lot.
Been in the business over twenty years. Suspension and alignment my thing. Everything can be spot on and still have this happen. It's due to the geometry of the steering, and the load put on it when it has to stabilize heavier wheels and tires. The fix is dual steering stabilizer.
