- Traveling from Lima to Huacachina Peru, we find this real life desert oasis that looks like it is out of an Indiana Jones movie. You can go sand boarding, and dune buggying here in the massive sand dunes.

Wow. Saw this town in an Insta reel and immediately looked on YT and came here to this video. From within the town it actually looks pretty decent sized town but not from top of the sand hills surrounding it. Truly magnificent and amazing Oasis in the desert fairy tale.

The real interesting part of the desert in Ica is that you can still find huge whale bones ! Billions of years Ica was an ocean.
