Get away from it all and spend a relaxing camping holiday on the banks of the River Wye at our picturesque Wyeside Club Site. Located just outside the pretty market town of Rhayader, it’s the perfect base for cyclists, walkers, bikers, anglers and nature enthusiasts. Head to the scenic Elan Valley and its network of six dams and aqueducts. Here, visit the Elan Valley Visitor Centre to discover the history of the reservoirs, before setting out to explore the beautiful landscapes and walking trails. Other local attractions near Wyeside include the red kite feeding station at Gigrin Farm - a 200-acre working farm on the edge of Rhayader where hundreds of red kites come to feed every day. A short drive west of the campsite is Devil’s Bridge and Rheidol Gorge, a spectacular place to walk set amongst three waterfalls, dense woodlands and winding stone steps - not for the faint-hearted! Back at base, enjoy the quiet surroundings of Wyeside Club Site or take the easy half-mile walk into Rhayader to explore the traditional market town and enjoy a bite to eat in one of its pubs or restaurants.
