great work !!! my guides were broken, and i didn't realize that you can order them online for about $12 off ebay , instead since we needed to fix the problem today, we ordered a new regulator from orielly auto parts for $119. hopefully it comes with new guides , which i think it does

I am looking at a Saturn Ion right now for my next car.
After what happened to your dad, perhaps it's time to just get something newer: ua-cam.com/video/W7e432FWfLk/v-deo.html I wasn't too happy with the Saturn Ion side impact. We finally caved and bought something else. Bought a Subaru Forester 2014. It was only 2 years old when it got T-boned. Totaled. Bought a 2017 right after... good thing it was fully insured. Can't trust other drivers. Life is too short. Still have the Saturns though... we typically use them for grunt work these days.
I bet you found that far too easy, i can't count the number of regulators you have extracted from cars, so so many.

Having to take the outer door panel off does make the job a little more involved.
Hi rich. Love all your videos, especially on Saturn Ions 2003-2007. Quick question, I am trying to remove the headliner in my 2007 Saturn ion hit am running into trouble trying to remove the hanger clips that hold up clothes in the back. There is a circular plastic clip that pushes down with the use of a flat head, but after I pull it down the clips don’t pull out. Do you if there is something else I need to do? Also, would it be possible for you to even make a video to remove the headliner on a 2007 Saturn ion? I know that’s a lot but I wanted to ask. Thanks.
I have a 1998 saturn SC2. I finally got the car running after sitting for a month. I am having an issue with it. I put the car from park to reverse it decides it wants to try and die but when it goes back into park it runs alright, but not it's best. I also can't seem to figure out why neither my hazards or blinkers are working. I replaced the relay and they worked for a little bit and then they stopped working again. what do you think the problem could be?
Do you have info on how to get the door panels off and on? Also what tools needed to do that. Thanks.

the other pain is the lock or door rods...both on my driver side are broken

Removing the outer door panel is easy. I had no problem removing mine and I am not a mechanic. I just followed Rich's video and took out the 10 T-30 bolts and one smaller one. I think that you have to take off the outer skin to be able to get the glass out. Don't forget to take off the mirror first.
question for you rich. my work has a 2001 saturn SL1. problem is that it won't shift out of park. the brake lights work fine. what could it be?
i had that, was my switch, wd40 fixed mine would not release lots of dust and crud under plastics, or switch it bad,
