It's a real shame that these guys couldn't make a decent living out of music to be able to continue with the band!.. they wrote some really solid songs that got very little radio play. We are losing a wealth of talent because the money is only there for a select few now. What makes it even sadder is the album that this song is from is probably one the best pop albums that has been written in the last few years. I really hope to see these guys again one day in the future....
Hey you guys? I just want you to know I love you. Your music is amazing. I'm pretty sure I'll forever buy anything you put out there. I can't believe I found you on Pandora. "Canhead" was my introduction, and I've since bought just about your entire collection, either on Google Play, or the physical CD for the most recent self-titled album. [edit] - Just saw on Facebook that you guys quit? I'm sorry to hear that. Super sad. I understand your reasoning. I paid for everything! I hope in some small way that it helped.
The first time i heard Mary-Kate's voice i was surprised how it sounds like Elizabeth Fraser from Cocteau Twins / This Mortal Coil. The structure of the song itself is very 4AD, which is amazing. I saw you last saturday at Meeting House Square - Probably the best concert this year.
Probably their most listenable song to date not to say I didn't like their other stuff I'm a big fan but this is less straining on the ears and theres less going on I like it.
I hate to be that hipster.. but why does every band end up the same..? This sounds so much like other stuff that's out right now it makes my heart sad for the unglodly amounts of love I have for "tie me up with jackets," "thank god you weren't thirsty," and just.. okay every single song on mystery of the golden medallion. Still sounds nice, but damn I hope they didn't change their style and kept some of their punk edge with her screaming. At least the lyrics are still great. Please don't change!!! Edit: After listening to another track (carousel) from their upcoming ep, I guess I take a bit of this back. Seems this track may just be a bit more synth based, but they are definitely still staying true. I am too used to musicians I really enjoy lately losing themselves and straying from what originally made me fall in love with their music.. and really would not want this to happen to fight like apes. Tegan and sara.. florence and the machine.. both are barely recognizable to when I first heard their music.. I would be really sad if fight like apes ever lost themselves. If anyone hasn't heard "Carousel," though, definitely check it out on soundcloud!!!

Whats style music is that?
+Grace Soares it's great one :D
This sounds VERY similar to "The Devil is in The Details" by The Chemical Brothers...
Just the lead synth bit, and it doesn't sound that similar.

be pretty sad if bands played the same music for eight years imho.
you need to dress the vocal in sound, not miss match computer game type beeps with impromptu lyrics
big fan but really dont like this :(
