I spit my coffee out not once but twice while watching this. One of the hilarious videos I've seen in a long while. I would actually pay money to watch this as a weekly or monthly series. These two totally crack me up!
@ObsessedGarage and @theragcompany The "100 year old garage" is mine. I'd be happy to clear up a few of the questions. Matt - you and I used to post together on RL when you had your 991.1 C2S. I remember your build thread and discussing detailing with you in there before OG was started up officially. We found the garage in the state of the "before" photos. We certainly didn't buy it in the "after" state. We planned and executed the garage transformation as part of a whole home renovation that we did. It included significant structural work to widen the garage interior. The original garage was the width of that higher portion of the in-progress garage floor. You couldn't have fit a modern car in it. By removing a load bearing wall and replacing it with new structural steel in the ceiling of the garage running from front to back we were able to make this a usable space. I've definitely purchase my fair share from OG for this garage, as you noted. Matt... you nailed it on the dual hose reel explanation. With the Eley installed parallel to the mounting wall I can just walk the garden hose out to the front of the property and it will pull off the spool and reel back in easily. The piping rig for the pressure washer and hose set up isn't captured well in those photos. I built it myself and it is all 3/4" copper tubing with stainless steel full-port ball valves. I had oil based paint custom mixed to match the saber cabinet grey and I painted the piping with that because the bare copper wasn't right. It certainly isn't galvanized, though I can see how it might have looked that way. It has a hose bib inlet, valved taps for the pressure washer, hose reel, bucket filler and a drain at the bottom. The gloss on the walls is because all of the garage interior was painted with epoxy paint to give some resilience against splashing and spraying. I've done full pressure washer washes in this space (with the cabinets covered, of course). Having a floor drain in here is killer. The slats that you saw outside the garage are a bridge made of decking to go across the trench floor drain from the driveway. It keeps me front scraping the underside of the nose of my car on the way in. Nice video, guys! Id be happy to give you both a tour if you are ever in NYC. It certainly won't take long. Any chance of getting bumped up to that "S" tier with the answers?
@@theragcompany Yes! Thanks for the bump up, lol. You are always welcome to stop by for a tour and a beer that we definitely didn't get from a fridge in the garage!
Matt, I think a challenge for you is to step outside of your comfort zone and try to do a garage build for around $5000 not using stuff you sell on OG is the challenge accepted? I’m talking Home Depot, Lowe’s, Harbor Freight, etc.
Nobody needs to spend “another $100k to make a garage”. lol. Also, how is it you’re trying to make fun of people who use a peloton when you played volleyball?
Rhys (Prestige Detailing Studio) and I were Grambassadors together. We have chatted for years. I spoke to him about a year ago and he no longer lives in the same spot. I hope to reconnect and see him get back on the detailing horse! I loved this video. Part of me would love to hear Matt "rate" my garage and the other part of me would be afraid!
Curious to know why someone would want to have him rate your garage or would even care? I mean it’s always cool to get someone else’s insight but wouldn’t your rather get input from someone with true experience doing the same thing you’re doing?
OMG I just stumble on one of the biggest questions that I have had in over 2 years! ANOTHNY I have officially found what you do for a living and it makes so much sense. Seeing your face is just so weird to see not that you I'm insulting you but that it is good to put a face to a name and I am literally in awe. I will be subscribing to the Rag Company channel and cant wait to see more. Hope your back is doing well but have a great day to all of the Rag Company!

We need to have more of these The rag company x Garry Dean Collaboration videos. Garry seems to think he’s a bit of a garage expert I guess but this was still entertaining
Why would that be sad? Matt really only caters to people who basically need to be told what to like and prefer to not think for themselves. Not really my thing but if that’s your cup of tea, more power to you.
Idk, i think its possible to have an especially efficient garage that is put together well, that serves every function for which a garage is needed, without spending $100,000s. But, what do i know... My biggest gripe is, how can it be A-tier without a good drain built in the floor, its certainly more important than epoxy on concrete or which color the cabinets are.
You don't need a drain in most garages. The floors are generally slopped away from the house, so you can just wash and let it drain out under the door.
Hard to change once your down a battery operated tool. Makes no sense to be so offensive on your words. You have the opportunity to help folks. In this case you’re hating, very disappointing.
There's no S tier with Matt on here because to him even his garages can be improved making his an A. 😅 I bet you guys missed him off and now his new goal is to find someone who is willing to dish out big money to create the first S on the list.! can't wait to see it

Please make a video of your 100 year old garage! Give us a tour! It looks so cool. One of the best garages I ever seen, such an inspiration!
The real star over there at og is Mike as he’s the one with the actual knowledge. We should have had him doing this video for his input.
Mike is def the more practical one lol
Matt’s dismantling of antiques was 10/10 😂
These are so good
Nice to see my garage make a guest appearance. Thanks Matt and the OG team.
Needs to be a quarterly series!
I will try my best to make that happen!

"He probably does his own window tint" is the funniest comment in this video.

I’m totally digging watching Matt cringe looking at these garages. I could watch this all day.
lol. This obsessed garbage guy is pretty funny. Someone on his team needs to help him out with his wardrobe though

Black Widow floor guy spent most of his budget on that awful floor while his tools have no cabinets to go in.
I wonder how many people MLM Final Boss had to scam to get all that?

Why would you buy that when you could get Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, Dewalt for a few bucks more? That makes zero sense to me.
