Haha, i thought this was going to be your first clickbait vid. That really is a fun looking plane. I was getting the itch for their voodoo but then thought it was just going to behave like a slower v1200. I love my 1200, but that p51 stall test says it all.
You gotta bait the clicks to get people to watch something these days given the huge amount of RC content out there. It's definitely a slower V1200 but it doesn't bite and is much easier to fly and tracks like an arrow in the sky. It's really quite something.
@@TwoBrosRC For sure. Usually when they clickbait a vid, it sometimes has nothing to do with the truth of it. The p51 was actually phenominal. I mean, im sold on it. Looks like horizonhobby has them too and they are doing some bonus points to get some money off on a future order.
That's not a bad idea at all. If you want to get the model from Horizon instead, you can click bit.ly/3XAzOOf and it'll take you to the Dago Red version. If you prefer a different version, just buy that one instead (the link works for anything you buy) and we'll get a cut of the sale at no additional cost to you, plus you'll still get points on your order.
Every time I see TWRC flying a plane well or beyond it's limits, it just causes me to want that plane (wether I actually like the plane or not). Does that make me a addict?? ;-)
This line of planes are just fantastic flyers. Even going back to the originals from ROChobby. I have the first version 1 meter Miss American and on 3s she is very fast. I also have the 1.1 Strega and of all of my planes, it is my absolute favorite. Very fast and very agile in the air. Totally agree on it being the best tail dragger to land. Easy to grease every time.
I was on the fence about this one. Think uv tipped me over now. Excellent representation of the plane 👍🏾 love the demo and commentary of the stick smashing. A solid example of how a review should be. One thing.. book cg?
Hi Jon, I really like your vids. Especially when you go into detail on your setups. I fly with an NX10 radio and it helps me to program my setups like yours. I was wondering what FMS servo you replaced the rudder servo with on this plane? Keep up the great videos.
We'll be getting back into setup vids starting tomorrow for the FMS Beaver mods we're showcasing. It won't be the old style with a hatcam mounted to the head, but rather quick cuts with voiceover explaining in simple steps what needs to be done. It should make it much easier to follow along with. Here's a servo that should work great: bit.ly/Predator13GPositive
I have the FMS Voodoo . If you hold a little up elevator the plane takes off in about one foot . The plane is really easy to fly and land . The Reflex gyro works very well in this model . My only complaint is the landing gear bends very easily .
I have the Miss America version and totally agree with your comments. I do wish I had bought the Blue Thunder version as I think it is a bit easier to keep orientation with in the sky. I will be switching to Dubro Low Bounce Wheels and more SMC HV packs are definitely on my horizon when they come back in stock. You can order directly from Dubro and get free shipping with a $65 dollar order. When I ordered single packages (2 tires) elsewhere, the shipping was about 40% of the cost of the wheels. You can really save by buying directly from Dubro in bulk.
Thank you. How would you say this plane stacks up against the 1.2m Eflite warbirds like the cripes a might p51, in terms of speed, overall enjoyment? @@TwoBrosRC
Great touch and go's / ground handling. Your crazy skills made it look easy.

There's worse things to be addicted to!
Of course not. I doubt we will get any non addicts here to give a sound opinion though😅
Nice plane, great flight and super video! Those landings and touch and goes were great too! I hope the pilot in the cockpit is OK :)

Love it! I know this size is convenient but if it were a little bigger I would pull the trigger right now!

It's using a lighter 2800 pack so the CG is about where the book calls for it, but somewhat further back.

We didn't see any bending issues and we landed this thing on a bumpy runway. Perhaps the low bounce wheels are doing their job!
I'm not happy with the landing gear either and yes i have bending issues as well. I fly on very short grass.
Yep ! Glad I watch your video . Gonna get one
Cheers man, happy to help!
I have the Voodoo and Dego Red. Soooo much fun to fly
Hello, great review. You mentioned you replaced the rudder servo. Please provide the link for the replacement. Cheers
www.fmshobby.com/products/predator-13g-digital-metal-gear-servo?ref=2brosrc should work for ya.
Rudder and Elevator surfaces are on the small side to pull of crazy acrobatics with it
It's more about the CG if anything.
@@TwoBrosRC Aft CG on warbirds makes them super stall prone and unstable i wouldnt recomend it
I wanted one last week, now I have to have one!
Love it

Good to know about going through Du-Bro directly, thanks for that!
Free delivery on dubro wheels at elite models if you spend more than £50.
I have the Voodoo stock motor and esc and I fly mine on 6s 1800's ! Just use throttle management the whole flight and will be fine.
We unfortunately don't have any 6s packs which are that small. 4s HV seems to be more than performant though.
try 10x10 prop with that 6s 135mph level flight
Is that a 10×10 4 bladed or 2 bladed prop you're talking about?

Do you think it would fly on a 3s 3300mah pack ,just asking , of course not for speed but just for some slower flying ?
It should, we've flown it on a 4s 3200 pack before.
@@TwoBrosRC thanks man👍👍
Yes
Reminds me when you did the Vans and it tacoed the wing.
Pretty similar!
Hi ! Do you think it would be possible to do grass ops with this ?
On very short grass.

I think you need one more mod to make that canopy stay on..... Thanks.
Nah. We just need to stop doing high speed pushovers. It doesn't really look all that great so it's not worth doing.
Which one do you prefer to fly between this one and the Beechcraft 1.5?
The Beech.
Well it fly on grass field?
Most likely.
How is it with grass?
We don't fly from grass, so we can't answer this question.
What size dude bros?
2" wheels.
1k viewer🙂
Try it on 6s....whole dif plane
We don't have any 6s packs small enough to fly in this airframe without causing overweight issues.
It's attitude on the wheels is not scale-like. I bet it sticks because the nose is so low.
Looks plenty scale to us.

Why did you say poor pilot? 😂
Because he experienced 10g of force.
