Po's speaking from a place of privelage here. U can't tell a man who's struggling to have a companion/have sex to stop looking for a woman. It's easy to say when you've never had an absence of those things. I feel sorry for a lot of men these days who are genuinely lonely.

@theformidabletruth LOL! The average man has most likely had sex/companions before...I wasn't referring to the extreme examples of lonely men I.e. Virgins and Incels - The episode is about the average man. So not the social media personalities/celebrities who have it in abundance, and not incels who have NOTHING, but those in-between...The average man. So no, I don't think it's easy for them to deal with loneliness, because they DO know what they're missing. Also, humans instinctively crave connection, so it wouldn't surprise me if those who've never had it crave it just as much as those who "miss it".

I actually love listening to Poet talk. He talks at the same speed he thinks 😂. He starts off wrong and strong but keeps on going until he finds his point. I don't mean that as a disrespect, he says everything with chest and is humble when challenged, changes his view and keeps it moving. I think a lot of us can learn from that.

I think the reality of women’s typically more selective nature in combination with the perception of a vast pool of options makes it increasingly difficult for women at large to even see most men let alone consider them as dating candidates. Cold world.

I think a lot of guys who are struggling aren’t really putting themselves in a position to meet women and are just at home and get used to being alone and are kind of socially recluse.

There's no guarantee that you will find a partner regardless of hard you try. And not everyone has friends to go to pubs and clubs with. Going to social events alone is not really normal. You seem to take a lot of things for granted. You may be one of the lucky type who attract partners without really trying, but not everyone has that ability.
