I think the paper vase is a hat. George showed one!
The paper thing isn’t a vase it’s a hat!! And it’s worth grabbing 😊
Came here to say that! 10:37
Yeah antique nomad can tell you about it 😂he had one in video
@@quinnmurdock3259 Right? We've seen George model the hat for us. Very funny!
Agree about loud music being distracting-especially if you don't like the music.
I agree with your statement about the music!!
Michael, didn't you think the head statue looked like Jackie Kennedy? It was dated 1963 which would fit the time of Pres. Kennedy. Just a thought.
I agree about the music wholeheartedly Michael! When it’s that loud it is very distracting and when I leave the store my ears are ringing! 🤪
Oh goodness, the music!! It would give me a migraine!
Your cart was filled with so many goodies, too hard to pick one!
I just have to say Micheal is the fastest shipper! I payed for an item and received it 2 days later. Awesome!
Agreed!😊
The blue paper vase at 10.33 is actually a hat. George the antique nomade had one🙂
I was hoping Michael would try on a new hat style. Lol 😂
@@desertgalcurios I think it might suit him nicely😀
I've been known to walk out when the music is loud....it feels like a personal assault...impossible to function.
I agree about the music. Its stupid to have it so LOUD!
I agree excessive music volume is distracting and unpleasant.
The music in places will make me leave immediately. Don’t need the migraine
I go to Goodwill just for the tunes 🎼😃
Loved the Sun Bags Beautiful colors!
That was not a paper vase but a hat. George the Nomad showed one on one of his videos.
Nooo. i agree, Stay away from the blue geese. You did well talking over that music.
If music is too loud it definitely detracts from the experience and makes it quite uncomfortable. It’s not like it’s a music store.
Loud music in restaurants also irritates me. I love to watch your shopping vids despite the loud music.
I SO agree. Shopping with music blaring is so unappealing. If anything you would think calm, soothing music would keep people in the shopping coma longer. Haha (I believe they once used pleasant smells and calm music back in the day to keep folks in the store longer. As a child in the 60/70s all the malls played “elevator” music and it was fun to spend the day at the mall. I get in the zone whilst shopping but loud or obnoxious music drives me right out of the store. Their music was ridiculously loud. Love how you can always find a little treasure wherever you find yourself shopping. Loved the camera! So fun to us in a display. So happy you took us along.
OMG I hate when music is blasting when Im shopping even if it is music I like, Its just annoying. Love the stuff you got tho
I am glad you found the pitcher. It is coming to my house.😊
I agree that loud and bad music can ruin my shopping experience!
I love that you found things that are totally different than the usual but beautiful anyway. ❤❤❤
Michael, I'm totally in agreement with you about the unpleasant music. I'm also a reseller, and I occasionally shop at the same Valley Thrift in Kettering, Ohio; I too *really* hate the deafening music, which is invariably the kind of twangy Country & Western that makes my ears bleed and promptly puts me in a ragey mood. That's frankly why I don't go there very often. Aggressively annoying music can keep shoppers at bay. Sigh.
I don't know why, but I've heard alot of rumblings about blue bow geese coming back in style. I can think of many other things I'd rather see come back.
I don’t like the loud music either!
That paper vase was a hat- u expand it!
Frustrating day! I swear that I go to Goodwill six times in a row and buy nothing. Then I score something that keeps me going back.
Agree, turn the music down,or better still turn it off😂🤫
Someone else might have said it, but the dove in the baggie is a Home Interior piece. It was part of a pair.
My Mom had that set ☺️
Love the way you tossed the hair elastic. Nice bag.
Was thinking the same, right on the floor!
You are so right about the music! Drives me crazy! I still love the pig even with the foot issue. Look forward to shopping with you always 🤗
Holes in the pitcher design could make pouring something a little messy… I do like the look of it!
I always have my AirPods w me. If I’m gonna listen to music it has to be of my choosing. I can’t deal with thrift store music/noise.
That blue paper vase is a hat!😂
Paper vase is a hat. I have seen the Antique Nomad plop it on his head!!!!
The pitcher whose open holes make it nonfunctional drives me crazy.
Oh my goodness that was fun today maybe you should drove that 30 minutes 😂 there was nothing in them last 2 stores for sure🦋loved the Pig and the kate Spade bag 🦋🌼🦋🌻
That blue vase thing was a hat. I will buy from you if it's still there next time.
The bag of stuff you can use those nightlight chords for vintage blowmolds ❤😮😊
Yellow ware is pretty
That angel cookie jar was so cute, hate to see it damaged
The Ark is just so so cute
My local Habitat for Humanity store has a tiny section of hard goods and tons of furniture from a local auction house, that is priced super high. I thought it was funny. The auction house couldnt sell it, donated it, then habitat goes crazy with the prices.
That is EXACTLY how the Habitat in my area is! Well except there are ZERO hard goods there. About a half an hour from me there is another Habitat that has a lot of great vintage hard goods and furniture but their prices are literally higher then EBay!
Also, you were about 1 mile from a MASSIVE antique mall....Ohio Valley antique mall...you can spend hours in there😊
I love the yellow talavera pieces!
That lattice piece next to the green warren piece was cool looking.
Loved the Pig such a cute face...as always great shopping with you...❤
I really liked the cookie jar. He was so sweet
😮 Brave of you Michael going into the land of thrift shops! 😊 proud of you. Just wish you could have found more. ❤❤❤❤
More great things next time. You are the best.
Thanks Michael. Now I will be singing “I’m Drunk and I Don’t Wanna Go Home” all day!!!!
I’ve never seen you fill a cart that full! Lol😂
I think the pitcher is a hobbies piece. Probably from the 70’s when everyone was doing ceramics. It is nicely done.
I absolutely HATE loud music when shopping....WHY???
Hey Michael 👋 Love Shopping with You!!!
So much fun! I could shop with you all day long 😁 Love your commentary… “I’m not very pleased right now…” 😂😂
Michael, I have been a subscriber of yours for about a year. Love every single one of your videos:)) Super excited to see you exploring the Cincinnati area. You are in my neck of the woods and going to places I haven't been to yet! Hope to see you on one of my trips to the many Valley Thrifts! The Evendale location may be worth the trip as there is a wonderful antique store very close by and a St.Vincent De Paul, as well. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos and the knowledge you share. 🥰🥰
We only have a few thrift shops within a 20 minute radius and usually have a lot of broken or chipped decor so I’ll stick with antique malls
Love your shoes! Seriously.
The music is so chaotic.
Fairfield also has the Ohio Valley Antique Mall.
I love that very first pitcher and all of the yellow ware..........oh who I am kidding? I love it all Michael!
Hi Michael....I'm so glad u bought the pig....adorable!! The music drives me crazy too n theres no need of it!!
Valley thrift has got it going on, your trolly was full! The land of everything broken 😂
I really liked the blue candy dish but who knows what it’s worth. And you can NEVER have enough tote bags! Thank you for taking us along. ❤
I don't understand the logic in buying dishware made in China to look like Talavera. I'd rather have the real thing.
I agree.
You are the most adorable snob. I love it. I feel like I hear what you're not saying. Thanks for the content.
Hello Michael really loved that angel cookie jar to bad it had a repair but the other stuff you got was great like the dish set !!! Thank you for sharing this!!!❤️❤️❤️
This is my area! 😊 Have you ever been to the Ohio Valley Antique Mall? You were only about a mile away when you were at the Goodwill.
Ooh that blue dish was so beautiful!
Loud music ugh!! Leaving ASAP! I actually find it rude. Interesting tag along. Thanks Michael❤😊
You're a trooper Michael!😊 I'm mesmerized by your graceful expressive tan hands!❤😁
Michael that is one of the most colorful carts I’ve seen! So many happy colors! The first pitcher you picked up would look stunning with hydrangeas, no water required just let them dry. Thanks for taking us along.
That paper vase is a hat🥰
My Great Grandfather is buried in Kettering OH. I've always wanted to visit
Omg that temptations set is my pattern and I don't have those wahh.
It's better to watch this video with the volume down and the CC turned on. You can read what Michael us saying and don't have to listen to the music
I have to tell you how glad I am to have you in Ohio allbeit part time 😊. I am getting to see so many places I have never seen sad but true.
P.S. I live about 15 minutes south of Urbana off of rt 68 😅
P.S.S. Richard seems like a great guy! 😀
Amen on the music commentary! I have had to turn around and walk out because the music was not only **blaring,** it was horrible music. Apparently the Goodwills in my area believe that there is only one genre of music in the entire world and it must be played LOUD.
Fun fact: music and sound vibrations have a major impact on the human nervous system and are capable of causing depression or anger (as in the case of too many stores) or peaceful, focused, calmness.
You did give it a good try. Some fun thing's. Hopefully you can find some great yard sales soon. I still love your antique stores the best. I could tell you were disappointed with today's thrifting. But thanks for taking us with you.
The sun burst bags would be great farmers market bags! Every Habitat Restore is different. They do tend to get bigger furniture donated but I have found antiques at the Lewisburg WV location.
Love your commentary
OMG, the first Valley Thrift store's music is so obnoxiously loud. Loud music anywhere is so irritating but especially when you are trying to shop and need to focus. I do wear earbuds so I can choose my own music.
Michael, I can't believe it every time you go to a goodwill you always find different or very cute kitsch or very cool finds!🌞The telaflora yellow dishes were amazing, love the pig and pitcher!!!😁🌺🐈🐕🌹
Wonderful work!!
I did some of the blue bow geese decor in the 80’s. Seeing it now just about makes me hurl!
Omg my mom has a complete set of the blue ribbon goose. Dishes cups canisters all of it 😂😂😂
Hope your not an only child....😂
At least you filled your cart in the one store! I love the cream pitcher/vase and the Noah's ark! Hope you didn't have a terribly long drive home Michael! 🦋
My Goodwill's and Salvation Army's are still old school in merch and prices.
Loved the Kate Spade bag for the summer!
Haha, your feet were getting it down that aisle 😂
Liked the floral club chair at the second Valley Thrift you visited. It could have been cheapo, but it was styled up nicely! Fun video.
Loud music imposed on me while trying to focus is the worst. I wear my earbuds and listen to music I enjoy.
I hate blaring music when I am shopping or in restaurants.
Love the piggy that was fun ❤
Your hair band comment cracked me up, the loud music is so distracting!
100% agree about the music! It stresses me out so bad that I have walked out more than once. Why??????
Love the pig who cares w a broken foot i love it!!!
I used to be a manager in a smaller nonprofit thrift store and we played music from Pandora radio and we would always pick fun music that made the shopping experience fun but we NEVER put it so loud that it would distract from the shopping experience. It is just about respect for the shoppers and good business practices 😒
Loud music is the worst. I want to hum along, if its too loud i cant think and get soooo annoyed - one store the speakers get all crackly if they go too loud.
❤❤❤
My dear boy. I know you are very young so hee is some info from a very old follower......Back in the day you had to purchase your own flash bulbs. You get the attachment on your camera but you furnish film and flash bulbs. (Not even sure if they still sell flash bulbs). Love your videos.
