I met a lady using a 8 mega pixel camera . Her wild life photos are amazing . She has 20 years of wild life experience. The composition at the end of the day says it’s a masterpiece. Other wise the richest man in the world wins photographer of year award every year .
In 2006, I bought a Samsung Digimax L85 compact camera which has a 1/1.8 inch 8.13 CCD sensor in it. A lot of my photos I took with it were not great, but I did I took a lot of photos of butterflies with it which did end up looking good with good composition and a certian look to the colors I have not been able to replicate in cameras I have used since that one. In early 2020 before everything shut down, I held a exhibition of my wildlife photos and got a lot of great comments from people on the ones I took with the Samsung camera. It does seem that the most important thing is as you said the composition but also how the photos were edited that is the most important at the end of the day.
About the Canon R5C, with new firmware and new LP-E6P the restrictions are gone and the run time extended. But if you need animal detect AF in video mode, R5 or R52 is the answer
Another useful and entertaining video. I suggest you reduce your audio gain. It's come close to clipping and I have to turn the volume way down to make it listenable. Happy New Year BTW. Side note: I don't own the Canon RF 200-800 yet. But if I get one, I'll be living at 500-700 mm for the most part and that zoom throw is only a quarter turn at most.
I know you answered a rhetorical question about Cannon marrying Nikon. (I would say it's impossible, if we weren't reading all these stories about Honda and Toyota merging.) BUT...what would happen if Canon bought Blackmagic, the same way Nikon bought RED? Okay, not the same way...first had to steal some of RED's technology, but I suppose they could do that too.
Dear mr. Keseye. Stunning short movie. Thank you for laughts, 3:22, 8:56, IT Make My Day, again. Have you greate these new word's for people? 1. Geartofotoger = Man WHO wants tecnikal camera instruments too mucth, forever. 2. Tonek = Ensane, not wanted bohek in pic or video. Thank you.😀🎥👍📢🌷
I love a good chuckle, but how about devoting a video to your recommendations for what system gets the best results for video, stills, hybrid (if it exists)??
The EOS R7 offers lots of wobble in the corners and the autofocus for photography while tracking birds in flight jumps around like popcorn in the popper! I think the camera manufacturers do this on purpose. Because if they made the cameras well to an above acceptable level, then I think in their minds eye, the photographer, the videographer would have nothing to challenge them in which to build their skill. The camera would do all the work And the operator just stand there and push a button. I feel that it’s purposed in this way. These cameras are designed and manufactured in Japan and this is very much the Japanese mindset. I know this because I live in Southeast Asia and work in Southeast Asia.
It's been said plenty of times already, but it bears repeating nonetheless (with reference to your brief mention of how we should focus on the craft, gear coming second): I watched the 1987 version of "Angel Heart" a few days ago, and it really struck me how the story is beautifully woven through a carefully laid out puzzle of mostly static scenes; how lighting is used to enhance various takes, how chromatic aberration which would hurt the eye of any of today's gear reviewers doesn't distract from the tale; how sharpness is not paramount in creating the immersive experience... I don't know which Panavision camera the movie was shot on, but since the company only offers rentals, it too points to the fact that you don't even need to own gear to produce quality content...
We don't need more merging. It just leads to monopolies and less competition. Less competition = crappier products. Nikon and Red merging will be pointless unless they can produce powerful cameras at lower prices. Blackmagic delivers great cameras at truly competitive prices.
Hey you look a bit more healthy in this video. Now down to business. Nikon is still what amounts to some pickle stank, no I'm not a bot for Canon. I might be a Fuji bot - no. I checked. I'm not a Fuji bot. UA-cam - Jesus Christ what a last ditch funk truffle in the trees throwing poof. Love your work. The video quality is well - finished? What a lovely movie sheeeeen! The audio is well done if not thick of a heavy woman's musk puppet. No I'm kidding. It really does have a great smell. When do you reach your next StoobToob award? 200K or 500K? I have no idea how this system works for creators. Keep up the next decade of happiness and bot-less fun. Truly; I wish you the best in 2025.
WTF? No drinking games? No talking monkeys in wigs? 7 days into 2025 and you're loosing it bro. How about Tony & Chelsea Northrup? Merge that one pink boy.
Will you be in the running for Prime Minister now that Trudeau has resigned? You could have the triplets as part of your cabinet. And, the Cripple Hammer your bodyguard. I thought you would have recommended the X-T4 and the 70-300 to that guy. I wish I could afford an XF16mm T1.4...nice lens. I don't think I recall seeing you use a "vintage" lens on a mirrorless camera. Now, I guess the XF 35 T1.4 could be considered vintage, but I'm talking about something like a Canon FD lens. Could be fun? Have a rockin' day!
Canon manufactures the very BEST lenses in the industry, while Nikon camera bodies offer better features and designs than canon. It would be a great partnership if they joined forces. They could change the camera industry all together!!
I use a lot of EF glass on my R camera bodies. I noticed no difference in sharpness and no difference in responsiveness with auto focus. So the RF lineup is a lot of hype. And they are very expensive. It would be better to buy EF glass and use it with a converter.
The color reproduction on Canon lenses cannot be produced by any other manufacture. If sharpness is important and color reproduction is important than Canon is the only lens that serves these purposes flawlessly. Everyone else is a wannabe in the lens market.

Interesting...yes my 15 yr old d700 has captured some of my best photos.

Probably has a 2k wildlife lens on it though
Making a Sigma lens comment on this channel is like the bad guy walking into the saloon in a western.
Sigma art 40mm f1.4, masterpiece lens of highest image quality
The c70 footage looked gorgeous.
I've bought a z8 and prefer it to my Sony gear, it's a beast.
Yeah, I really like the Z8 but there are some subtle ergonomic differences that make me prefer the Z9 for handheld shooting, despite its bulk.
I finished this video wanting Panasonic for vlogging. I don’t vlog but am easily influenced.
They could split a partner name…Nik from Nikon and on from Canon…😊
Hahahaha. Gold
Or they could take the Can from Canon and the on from Nikon
"I wish that someone would fluoridate my spring water" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
The drinking poison bit was funny
About the Canon R5C, with new firmware and new LP-E6P the restrictions are gone and the run time extended. But if you need animal detect AF in video mode, R5 or R52 is the answer
Those batteries don't come with the camera though.

Youve got BLACK squirrels? things are really screwed up over your way... ours are grey or red, like theyre supposed to be

Okay, not the same way...first had to steal some of RED's technology, but I suppose they could do that too.
I hear that there is hope for your sad country.
God I love this channel.
...but their children will be TITANS! With lots of trauma.
And Sony would be that best friend that one of the kids bears a striking resemblance to.
And we don't talk about uncle Red anymore...

I would like a Canon C70 image in a Panasonic S5II body, usability and price. 😊😊
Hey Bro,
Fx3 or Zv e1?
❤❤❤
I love a good chuckle, but how about devoting a video to your recommendations for what system gets the best results for video, stills, hybrid (if it exists)??
You think he cares about stills? Have ever seen one of his videos?
@ I get what you’re saying!
He hates Loser photographers ! 😂

Firstly 🎉 you most faithful follower. I’ve succumbed to the land of image fidelity a.k.a 3D-Pop. Just trying to decide Zf or Z6 III
Z63 has more processing headroom and faster focus. I love mine.
Do you use any focus assist tools when shooting Fuji for wildlife? I still rely too much on autofocus.
Fuji has amazing peaking.
fuji vs OM System color science next

Love the vids but when are we getting some more walk and talk vids and some slomo stuff. Love the slomo stuff.
You have C-Log 2 in R5C, you just need to record in RAW and then convert it to C-Log 2 in post.
Then you have to record 6k if you want full frame.
@cameraconspiracies 6k is for hobos, you have to go all in for that 8k 🥸

I enjoyed this one a lot 🥳🥳🥳🥳🤣🤣🤣🥳🥳🥳
The hair is wildin' out today
Hey community, Happy New Year. Does the Sony 24mm f1.8 Zeiss have 3D pop? Please help. I want to believe.. the truth is out there.
You can film as much as you want with that Fuj, I feel like it is subpar to everything else you have. I really don't like it.
me too.
Canon lenses, nikons robust build & dynamic range, maybe. Sonys innovation.
Hey you look a bit more healthy in this video. Now down to business.

Canon used to do that with EF, now all their lenses are clinical.
I use a lot of EF glass on my R camera bodies. I noticed no difference in sharpness and no difference in responsiveness with auto focus. So the RF lineup is a lot of hype. And they are very expensive. It would be better to buy EF glass and use it with a converter.
When's the Fuji and Sony partnership coming?
Come on we all know Nikon is Sony’s beta testing facility.
Actually the opposite man, Sony just have billions more of a budget 🤷🏻♂️
@ nope, Nikon uses Sony sensors, Nikon can adapt Sony glass.
Why don’t you try some of the Nikon f mount product on your camera?
Your jealous of his stupidity, deep down in my soul, I have a good brain.
I got no complaints about Nikon stabe. But then I walk in Marshmellow shoes. Maybe not everyone got those?
Personally, I'm looking forward to Nikosonic.
A videographer like you should stick with Sony. Leave us alone! Canon and Nikon are for REAL photographers!
Nikon was popping off my screen but you picked a weird LUT, Fuji looks good, Canon C70 is flatter than my sister, gross.
The color reproduction on Canon lenses cannot be produced by any other manufacture. If sharpness is important and color reproduction is important than Canon is the only lens that serves these purposes flawlessly. Everyone else is a wannabe in the lens market.
Early!
This guy is still making videos?
Sony with Fuji = doubly shite build quality
