I’m an OLD lady, but I didn’t let that stop me from studying audio, graduated from THREE schools, got a degree last year. Yes, I know it’s not necessary, but I wanted the discipline that came from it. I have HIGH hopes to get a chance to do steady work in sound & voiceover. Blessings to you, honored sir, for this valuable info, all & only the best to you & EVERYONE who will see this. Go after your dreams, guys, you CAN do it! 🙏🏽
You have one of the most underrated music production channels on UA-cam my dude. I would love to see you collab with some other yt producers like Simon servida for example.
I really hope this video blows up eventually.
A lot more people need to hear this.
No denying that "The Vid" sucked, but one thing it forced me to do was to diversify my revenue streams.
The more things you can do, the more you have to fall back on when your main source of income isn't providing for you as much as you would like it to.
Aye! Let's go! I know I'm gonna appreciate this knowledge. Thanks my friend. 🙏
Any time my dude!!
These tips were exceptionally helpful, I’m learning how to play the piano and the guitar! But you’ve also peaked my interest in learning more about sound engineer! As well as doing remixes, more on the lines of Christian/Gospel & RnB, like the 90’s and RnB love songs, bedroom pop and jazz! As far as songwriting, I’m already a songwriter lol, I haven’t written and released/recorded any songs for other artists but I have written some songs with and for my husband, haven’t recorded the vocals because I still have to acoustically treat my studio space, but once I’ve treated my studio, there will be a few singles that will be released! I’m also wanting to become a UA-camr! And I’m a photographer! Also releasing free sample packs/drum kits helps!
Hey wow Jade you’re super talented and you’re on your way you just need to share this with the world!!!
Sensei License Granted💯
You drew me in to follow this.... w-zupppp Cedric.... so awesome all you're doin... you sure kept me hooked ✌😎🌹
Whats up Therese!! I'm trying out here keep it up on your end too!
I came across your channel since I was trying to find Native Instruments reviews. Since then I always love/enjoy watching your videos. Especially this video gave me inspiration and acknowledged me to have a bigger picture about my dream and career! (And good opportunity for me to think it's time to face the reality!) I would like to say "Arigato-Gozaimasu (Thank you in Japanese - I am Japanese but live in Melbourne) to you. You'll never know what happens in real life and I am glad that I saw this video :)
Seriously you don't know what happens next in your life and honestly I didn't think that I'd experience Earthquake in Melbourne! - that scared the sXXt out of me yesterday! (Even I was born and grew up in Japan but i wasn't ready for that one!). Thank you again!
Great information and a great video.
Great video Ced! Thanks for always sharing your insight and knowledge. Keep inspiring fam!
I appreciate you bro!👊🏾
Thanks for this post. This is a wealth of knowledge packed in 11 minutes!
Glad it was helpful!
💯
Excellent video! To me, it's basically all a question of the more different skills you master which offer different views of the same subject - music - the more chances you create for yourself and the more you learn to think outside of the box.
Well said Marc!!
Really great ideas. I think you should put the overwhelming majority of your time into what you want to do most. If you work part time, you get part time results. If you're spending most of your time doing other things like engineering/managing/photography/ect you just lost all that time developing your producing skills and building your catalog. All roads lead to Rome though so you all good either way.
Some great tips there, bro! Keep on keeping on, great to see you progress :)
Thanks my G!
Excellent list! Awesome content as usual, Cedric!
Glad you enjoyed it Tony !
Amazing points homie! One bonus tips is have people in your corner that inspire you and push you. U are not going to be an expert in every area but having a friend that you feel comfortable failing in front of and knowing that they will keep it 100% is priceless!
Big facts bro!! Who you surround yourself with is so important!👊🏾
Great tips bro , the learning process is very enjoyable too , me I’m learning the bass guitar
Keep up the good work ✌🏾
Bass is life bro!! love it!
👊🏾🔥
🔥🙏🏾
Cool tips! Thx alot 🙂
No problem!
Nice 💯
Thanks very much bro now I know my problems thanks
Happy to help
I really liked your photography/videography suggestion. I'm just getting into photography, but I didn't think of the idea of makin music videos for artists. Do you have any additional tips on how I can start both in the music industry?
I started on two of these I did a semester of audio engineering but I didn't like it that much. But I did start learning the piano I wanted to learn to become a musician
very good
More piano tutorials please
Word?!? Got you!!
Nicely done bro. Inspiring to see your progression. I tick about 4-5 of those things.. My issue is doing it all myself and never finishing off my tracks as I am my worst and best critic. Did you ever face that and how did you go about releasing your first track? Did you do it yourself or get management?
I hear you bro! Im very much the same it’s hard for me to say that I’m ever satisfied with my work. But I’ve learned that music is like your journey… it’s not meant to be perfect that’s what makes it amazing! Just share what you do with the world 👊🏾
@@SweetScaleTV Very true bro. Very true. That's what I'll do. One Love 👊

🙏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Thanks for sharing. I want to invest in a great board to last me for years and take it from there. I'm currently a DJ and Beat Maker for Hip-Hop and R&B ... I want to learn an instrument such as piano, so as a beginner, what keyboard do you suggest?
Got beats, got song writing skills, playing skills on piano or keyboard is fine, I got decks I'm not that great with. I dont really want to be on camera mainly due to where I live. Nabors responce to Me making music is to drill on My wall.
Huge huge nuggets of intellectual power here! These are gonna help you push your career! Get a lawyer!
It takes years to become good at even one of these things.
What’s the best way to make profit off of your beats? Like how do you go about putting music out there and making money off of it?
1 minute into the video, boom!!! Here's comes a advertisement.
First
thanks homie!
You said "Sound" engineer, but your explanation sounded like you meant Studio engineer. Did you mean someone who engineers live events or studio sessions?
Even dr.dre does other shit......beat headphones
Its legit! 10 ways to - make money- but: thats definitely not an advice for beginners! Because if money is the only goal, when you have reached zero skills in production so far, even with only using splice and sample packs, 99% will only make crap for ever. Okay. Money. Maybe true . But for a beginner, a 100% guarantee, to NEVER EVER become any good at the craft, is to do nine other things the same time!
Bro 👊🏾🙏🏾 the title focus was how to become successful whether you’re just starting or been doing this for years.. it wasn’t a video on how to start producing… and it wasn’t about making money. I was trying to help other producers be more attractive to artist and other producers when you can do more than produce it will open doors to produce! If that means you make more money hey nothing wrong with that.. after all a lot of successful ppl have it lol thanks for watching though homie 👊🏾
1-10 don't listen to this guy
