nice videos! I have had a 2015 Helcat M6 with 3:90 gear, a 2019 Redeye with 3:09's (rear seat delete)and now a 2021 Redeye with 3:09's (rear seat delete)-- and never had "1'' single warranty claim! Great cars and it's fun to run down Ninja bikes on the freeway and pass them--they can't believe it!
Obviously if you value your warranty, don’t mod for more power...unless you want go faster from a highway roll...Not many good spots to go real fast in the rolling hills of Maryland unless you’re on the eastern shore. I bet you could pull off a 9.9 with the demon springs and a little more weight reduction (passenger seat remove, low fuel) in super good conditions/low DA. I too just bought a new Redeye NB for almost 12k off msrp, some really good discounts currently. Mine is complete bare bones no options. I don’t miss the leather personally, as it’s my weekend toy.
Yea we have been stuck in the 10.1’s for most of this year, most likely going to change up just a few things next year to see if we can get it consistently in the 10.0’s for index racing... 12k off MSRP is a pretty good deal, congrats!
@@SauerHorsepower Thanks man I’ll be interested in seeing what you do to beat your personal record. Have you tested your 60-130 ever? Not much data online showing that metric for stock Redeyes.
Damn a 10.3 @ 131mph in the summer?! Now that's badass as fuck!!!! cannot wait till the fall and see what type of numbers you will put down man! Maybe 10.2s?! And How many passes do you make at the drag strip before the car heat soaks?
Yea I’m hoping for real low 10’s this fall... the good thing about the new Hellcats is they have the power chiller which cools the supercharger and the after-run cooldown... so heat soak really isn’t an issue!
@@SauerHorsepower yessir real low 10s!! this fall!! it's gonna happen and it's only a matter of time when! And you're right, I completely forgot about the power chiller in these new hellcats, dodge really thought it through! Thanks sauer for the info!
Just sold my 2017 Hellcat and am looking into a Redeye. You didn't give much information on what it's like driving it after a year. It was more a synopsis of mods and your intentions. Nice garage though, Mopar'd OUT.
I have had a 2019 Redeye and now a 21 Redeye--fantastic quality--zero issues and just routine maint.. and I don;t drive it like a baby carriage--I drive them as if stolen--never had a "single" issue--highly recommend!

Thank you! And yes, these Redeyes can surprise a lot of people!
Love that beautiful beast. You can't do anything to the car because you will make me want to do stuff to mine.
Fresh! I'm excited when you decide to turn it! I think in the fall you'll be in the high 9s with your current setup! 💪🏿
Now that would be dope! Can’t wait for this weather to get better 😎
Good video and a very fast redeye! Let's see if any stock 2020 gt 500 step up and meet you at the track to read your tag plate!
Maybe one day they won’t be scared 😎😂
Great overview of the car! Looking forward to see what you do with it.
Thanks man 🙏🏻
Great video and run down on your Redeye! Got to get together again soon!
Thanks buddy! Yea, this weather keeps fighting us doesn’t it 🤣
Damn, you bought both Chargers factory order around the same time??? Baller!!
Challenger was factory ordered, Charger was a car from the lot.
@@SauerHorsepower oh okay. Yeah didn’t watch al your videos in the right order! Lol But I ended watching all of them.
What modes are you selecting when drag racing? Trans? Suspension? Also does the chiller work when you are going down the track?
Full track mode, the chiller turns off when at full throttle but will run while preparing for the run and turns back on after.
@@SauerHorsepower thank you. I am waiting for my Redeye to come in. Non widebody, indigo blue like yours
@@kriscook8721 awesome! You are going to enjoy it!
@@SauerHorsepower thank you. I sold my 16 hellcat two months ago because the used car market was on fire. Couldn't pass it up
Do you pay extra for insurance because it's a red eye compared to a RT Challenger
I am pretty sure the insurance is higher on the Redeye than an RT. I also don’t drive mine as much so it’s not very expensive at all.
Congratulations you are 1 of 600 narrow bodies . These cars are rare ! I have the Carlyle Demon Springs love them !
Awesome, I figured it was probably really rare! What kind of 60’ times have you been getting with the springs?
Nice car great video 👍
Thanks a lot!
nice challenger red eye dude
Thank you 🙏🏻

Absolutely thanks for watching!
Im sure gas for this car is twice as crazy than the regular hellcat
Maybe not twice, but it sure does drink fuel like it’s nothing 😂
@@SauerHorsepower drinks? More like chugs it like a crazed footbal fan chugging beer
blafrican 345 that’s a better analogy... I like it!
Check out team hellcat that’s where I’m going.
I’ll check them out!
Sauer Horsepower love the page bro I’m gonna check out the sway bar cause I’ll be running 315 soon and the m/t

That's a waist of money ur just gonna just use it for the track if I'm gonna spend that kind of money it's gonna be for street or track
Extra 11 grand for a car thats a millisecond faster?? I'll just stick with a regular hellcat and do a pulley swap/tune.
Wow the buying power back in 2019. I miss it. You couldn’t get a widebody scat for 60k today 🥲
