I’m watching 1 day late. Yesterday I went to a little independent Baptist church in Biglerville, PA. 23 Children from 3-12 sang a hymn up front. Awesome message from the KJV Bible (I know, shocker!) We sang songs out of hymn books (real music). Live piano player (college age girl). Friendly banter & hanging out AFTER dismissal . Very chill. So friendly! (They also don’t LURE in people with a bunny 🐰 & egg 🥚 hunts... I love that!)

As an old McDonald's employee, we never got penalized, but there are strict templates and rules for amounts of dipping sauce in relation to the size of the order.

Dipping sauce: Worked at McDonald's in 1975 and we were not allowed to give ketchup packets to customers who ordered Big Macs without also ordering fries. Corporate did not want people putting ketchup on their Big Macs. No limit if you had fries. Silly.

As a former Chcik-fil-a employee, I had no issue giving people extra sauce. Getting extra sauce meant I got to go near where they put the freshly cooked fries which always smelled delicious and made me hungry. XD It was also an excuse to talk to my co-workers.

I worked in a computer repair for a decade. Got a call once about a bad speaker at an elementary school 30min away. I get there, some 4th grader had figured out balance controls. I was out an hour drive time. Told the head of the school IT dept to check stuff like that before calling me.

Just wanted to say, “hey, from Texas”! I actually married someone from Hearne who went to school with one of the NFL’s biggest trash talkers. I used to love when he was mic’d up! We watched the Vikings just to watch him play. We moved away from Hearne in 2011, it was getting pretty bad in the neighborhood where we lived. They used to call it Little Chicago. I had to get my daughter out of there. Congrats on your new baby. Our baby graduated from nursing school in December and we just welcomed our 5th granddaughter. We’re an all girl family, three daughters and five granddaughters. We love it!

The best kind. I don't know why people knock small towns, they are like having big families. There are some annoying aspects, but the positives far outweigh them. They say "they are nosy", I say they are interested in their neighbors. So many people in the world walk around all day surrounded by thousands of faces, but are essentially invisible and alone in the world, just a single person in a sea of strangers. That sounds awful to me. In a small town you don't always like everyone, but you know them, they know you, they know your history, your family, and in the end you are all town folks and stick together against other people. I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to grow up in a small rural town.

Honestly, “Trans Day of Visibility” makes no sense. Like, what, are they invisible for the rest of the year???
(At least it can’t actually fall on Easter every year because Easter changes days depending on the year. Still weird how they decided it’s on Easter this year if this is the first year of “Trans Visibility Day” being a thing :/
