Yeah. The combined package was really affordable. I ended up buying this for my brother and he really likes it. Recently receive the lumineaux one as well and did a video on that. The quality and design is much much nicer. But I ran into issues with discomfort from the vibration because it’s ultrasonic and I previously broke my jaw. But lumineaux is probably a better brush.
Just a quick update. Toothbrush is still holding up without problems. Battery life is sustaining and immediately provides feedback when it needs to be charged. Definitely recommend trying out different Oral B Toothbrush Heads to figure out your personal preference. Thanks for watching.
I strongly recommend everyone get one of those brushes it's one of the best investments you ever made, don't get cheaper or more expensive this brush just right .
@@AndrewRockUA-cam Totally worth it even if people pay $100, it will last for a long time and a lot better than manual brushing , that's where I got mine white color $59.99 is the best price I found on Amazon
Hope everyone in America get one of those brushes, I have bought my second brush smart intelligent 5000, it's super awesome too it come with a battery display and time and timer display and when you hit the 2.25 mark it give you a smiley face😊
Thanks. The Smart 5000 is more expensive than the Pro 1500, right? Other than the visual cues and timer, does it offer any other features to justify buying it over the Pro or Smart 1500? When I looked into it, all the more expensive brushes just added features that weren’t really justifiable for the cost.
@@AndrewRockUA-cam Yeah true the smart 5000 is more expensive but the one I got it came with 5 different types of brushes heads and case someone may really don't need those extra, the timer is the reason I bought it I think it's super cool it comes on automatically on the display and you can watch it and and know for sure how many minutes and seconds exactly you brush, beside that on the brush itself it has a display it shows the battery charge you will know exactly how much charge you have, and it has separate button you can press it has 6 different modes, the third mode and timer for me by itself totally worth it and justify the cost, but if someone just wants to get a brush the 1500 does the job and definitely a great option.

Would have to look at the difference. To be honest. The lumineaux ultrasonic one was much better quality and design and price. Only issue is my teeth were very sensitive to the ultrasound aspect of it. But it takes some time getting used to
Thanks. Good to know. To be honest the smart 1500 is really all I think people need. Has the 3 settings even though I only use the 1st or 3rd. Pressure sensor. And built in vibration timer. And it has a longer battery life than the 1000 which makes it last about a week per charge. Beyond that I think it’s all flair and gimmicky just to try and have people pay more without much additional functionality.
@@AndrewRockUA-cam Yeah true that's why I bought my first one the smart 1500, everybody says it's the best and I think i's the most popular one and a lot better than the 1000 series, I like it's lightweight the sensor I use the first mode always I didn't know it had third mode, I don't care for bluetooth but I really love a lot the counter timer but I have noticed the 1500 by far is the best for charge how fast it get charged and how long it last people should seriously consider that specially if they take it for travel, the 5000 it seems like electric guzzler maybe because it transmit to the timer while brushing, I am sure you will have to charge it a lot more often than the 1500 no big deal for me.
Excellent video, excellent toothbrush, I just got one few weeks ago, I love it a lot, but the 2 minutes times stopped automatically turning off the brush, not sure if it was a timer disable feature or malfunction but no big deal to me because I think it's better to brush the teeth for more time that 2 minutes
Sorry didn’t see this comment. Mine keeps going after the timer. So, I don’t think the brush ever was supposed to just turn off on its own. It just vibrates to indicate how long you should be brushing for. I think it would be more annoying if you had to turn it back on everytime you hit 2 minutes.
I’m about to buy my first Oral-B and settled on the (US market) Smart 1500 ($79), but I noticed a sale today on the Smart 5000 ($59). But ultimately I want the superior product, not just the better sale. I’m having trouble finding side-by-side comparisons - which brush do I want?
Not familiar with that specific model. But, generally, that should be higher in their product line and have more features. Based on the photos it looks like it has their smart technology with guided brushing through your phone. So, if you can find that for cheaper it’s probably at least comparable or better than the 1500.
@@AndrewRockUA-cam Too many models in their lineup for me to comprehend! I believe the "Smart 5000"' is a slightly older model (2017). I appreciate your reply!
@@glennz8352 Checked the Oral B website. Looks like it has the Bluetooth smart connectivity for your phone for tracking brushing habits. Then, 5 different cleaning settings. Definitely would recommend. So far it’s held up very well without problems. Charge lasts about 7-10 days and charges quickly. It’s also nice to be able to use any of the interchangeable oral b heads. @@AndrewRockUA-cam That's pretty awesome to know a 10 pack replacement heads only $30 I thought they would cost more mine only come with one brush. I definitely will get one of those soon. I just got one of those brushes from Amazon, it seems the timer stop turning off the brush for some reason. Do you know if it a feature option or what is the reason could be for that ?
@@MrCuteEmo For me, the timer cycles through so it will do a shorter vibrate every 30 seconds then after 2 minutes do a longer vibrate. But after that it will continue going. @@AndrewRockUA-cam Mine says the smart 1500 but I think same exact as yours with same features they probably just changed the name, it does the same thing short vibrates then long at 2 minutes the way it suppose to be, but when I bought it I thought it turn off automatically because they said 2 minutes timer but it shut off at the beginning because not enough charge this way you know you need to charge it which is I think pretty cool.
@@MrCuteEmo That makes more sense. You’ll notice when it needs to be charged pretty quickly. The power definitely takes a step down and the bottom will blink immediately.
Yeah. That’s the nice part about the oral b brushes is that all of the brush heads are interchangeable. Personally, I found the one with the yellow rubber brushes to work best. I did try an off brand version and would not recommend them. Quality was very poor and didn’t work as well. Check out my videos on other brushes. Personally, I have really liked my most recent one SeaGo which is a little cheaper compared to the Pro 1500 and the Bitvae which actually works extremely well for the price. The pro 1500 is bulky and clunky and gets gross overtime with the hole on the bottom.
@AndrewRockUA-cam I just went and bought 3 of these today, one for me and others for gifts. At least these brush heads are cheaper than the io3. I like the sensitive brush. Maybe that's the yellow rubber one. They also had the oral b 800 on sale from Coles. Are they any good ?
@AndrewRockUA-cam Just used the brush. The brush that came in the pack is to hard will swap it to a sensitive one. Seems like the pressure sensor didn't stop or make a different sound when I push hard to test it . I'll have to check this tomorrow maybe it needs to be fully charged the tooth brush.
@AndrewRockUA-cam Oh no, mine don't have a pulsating light it's a oral b 1500 x I think I got the wrong one , I want the one with the flashing light when brushing to hard. Is there 2 different oral b a 1500s ? And 1500 x?
I personally do not because I worry that it will impair the battery life and battery longevity. I’ve had no issues with knowing when to charge it. Charge lasts about a week or so. Then you will notice the power decrease a little and the light at the bottom blinking. At that point, I charge it during the day while at work then it lasts another week or so. I’ve been extremely happy with the toothbrush for the price and features. Definitely would recommend it still.
Could be the charging cable? If not, probably means the battery isn’t holding a charge anymore. You could look into if there is a warranty to cover it? I would suspects it’s likely at least a year but do not know.
