Time to educate the kiddies. This is MINISTRY, playing a RevCo song during 'The Mind is a Terrible Thing To Taste Tour' in early 1990. Al & Co. went on the road with Ogre, Joe Kelly, Jello (a few dates) , etc... and played this set. It included the songs from the 'In Case...'live disk, as well as covers from RevCo & Pailhead. KMFDM opened for them on this tour. I was at this tour, and trust me, this is a MINISTRY show... yes, they are doing a Cocks song, but it is still Ministry.
This IS Ministry. They played some revco songs on their songs around that time and before. They even played some Pailhead, and even Lard on that 1990 tour. Awesome video, and a good reminder of what good musicians these guys are, or were.
Look closely: Trent Reznor is playing guitar next to William Tucker. Chris Connelly is singing. Al Jourgensen is taking a breather on this number hanging out with Nivek Ogre on keyboards. Bill Rieflin and Martin Atkins are the percussion ensemble. Reznor mainly played synths on this tour but he jumped on guitar for this song and one other...think it was "in the neck". Wish Al and Trent still did stuff together...who knows, hey?
What gets me is that there's only 8 songs on the "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up" video but clearly they did much longer set lists. An uncut, remastered DVD is needed!
Mike Scaccia is also in full effect here. He's sporting an awesome Pailhead T-Shirt. His hair is very long and frizzy and he's ducking his face down into his guitar throughout most of this performance. God how I miss this lineup...
Nice! I saw Revco in 1990 in Orlando, FL with The Mentors and Trent was with them. It was probably one of the best shows I've ever been to. Thanks for posting this...
Best line up. For the record, if you haven't read singer Connelly 's book, he said the guitar player there on tour with them, Terry Tezz Roberts walked up on him and said that while it was being filmed, he should walk up to him and put an arm on him and they lean together like Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC
I actually have a piece of the fence in my rock memorabillia collection (it was sold off at one point believe it or not) it not only reminds me of the actual tour but it also reflects on the after party I experienced with Al and the boys on a few occasions, something I will never forget! (details not included for the sake of the weak of heart....lol)
It is a Ministry show. On the "Mind is a terrible thing" tour. About a year later Revco shows up with Trent, and about 20 strippers. The club was "Industry". And I feel amazingly old.

All correct. But, still, Ministry ARE The Revolting Cocks.

I treasure this vhs and cd. So good.

Yeah, I never got why they didn't include a whole show.

Brings back memories...

Also, Trent toured for a little bit with Revco in 90. But only did Supernaut.

Nothing beats Chris Connelly's hanting vocals.
