I treasure this vhs and cd. So good.
Ministry rules
Ian MacKaye goes around saying Ministry got a "shaved-headed roadie" to "impersonate" him on this tour. What a load, Joe Kelly looks and sounds nothing like him.
Best line up. For the record, if you haven't read singer Connelly 's book, he said the guitar player there on tour with them, Terry Tezz Roberts walked up on him and said that while it was being filmed, he should walk up to him and put an arm on him and they lean together like Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC
Great tune i enjoyed playing this 👌
If this is really you, you 're awesome. All the bands you been in legend. Man I have read so many times Uncle A is a dick to work. You do seem to be having a good time tho and in In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up. But is he cool or no? Or does he just buy his friends with dope? What are you doing now? Respect! if you get around Florida get at us bro! Respect 👍🏻🙏💯
Best!!
Amazing dude. Thnks
Eric spicer on drums?
This is garbage.
The infamous fence!!
Pailhead. As enjoyable and accessible as the day it was released, yet increasingly relevant. "Listen to them, the children of the night. What sweet music they make!"
People calling every song from the past "As relevant today as it ever was!" is really wearing thin and was well before three years ago.
@@glenbellefonte9620 That's a misquote, Glen. And anyway, my comment is as relevant today as it ever was
C'mon man. You know I am right. Be real.
The children....hear how they make their music........
@@glenbellefonte9620 Nah mate. You come on. You don't even know where that quote comes from do you. My comment was about how much I love that track. If you don't like it, you have the luxury to ignore it. Yet you still stuck your neck out. Why is that?
Playing with a bunch of junkies signed to Madonnas record label, who keep the kids at bay with a cage.... How far you have fallen, Ian.
Kommissar lol, that’s not Ian
This looks legendary
Knee pads aren’t just for safety, but for wax trax fashion too. Is he going to shred a ramp or preform conceptual art? I bet he likes to play with society’s definition of what exactly knee pads are intended for. Jokes on you conformists!!!
best live version of this song. shit is bad ass.
best live version of this song. shit is bad ass.
It's really Joe Kelly? The one who sang Thieves, with Ogre?
what is this from? It's not the standard release of 'In case you didn't feel like showing up'?
I don't believe this was filmed during the show for the LaserDisc/VHS release
@pailhead11 that is Ian Mkaye not Al singing
actually i think this is neither, i doubt that Ian ever toured with ministy, but i could be wrong.
pailhead011 It's Joe Kelly, I think. He's the ex-frontman of a Chicago punk band called Lost Cause, and was doing guest vox with Ministry on this tour.
+Dev0idWastelands Al is doing backup vocals on the song, but its definitely not Ian
@ 12inchvertical That is Ogre from Skinny Puppy singing he appeared on THE MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO TASTE recordings and tour
IT'S OGRE HEEL YEAH ...........C-MOON
THIS IS THE SHIT!!!! GREAT JOB LOVING YOUR CHANNEL..C-MOON
agreed, so true
I know! :D
It would have been unbelievable for Ian to go on tour with these guys :-D
this is so brilliant. also worth a peek is - You Know What You Are Live, Toronto 1988 - another storming clip..
I know. Lot of good footage from that show
Joe Kelly
why the fuck did i have to be a toddler @ the time?
The singer is clearly exercise guru RIchard Simmons. I'd know those sassy shorts and sexy hop anywhere!
@manirtizlsusername yes indeed. i remember that tour well. Ogre and i were on the bus after they played my club. we were talking about the tour and how it was going. he really loved the FUCK ART LET'S KILL shirt i had made for my first band (Furnace, before i did them for Chemlab). so i traded it (and a copy of my book) for a ViViSect VI sweatshirt he had had made. amazing how many people told me i was stealing a Puppy/Ogre slogan when our shirts first started appearing. i laughed. a lot.
@Wscate No, it's not Ian Mackaye. He sang the original. But this live version is sung by Joe Kelly.
@grendelchild69 No, it's Joe Kelly
Its ian Mcay of fugazi which was the guy that was als partner on Pailhead.
Well, you're wrong there, dick breath.
Both versions are awesome!
Nothing beats Chris Connelly's hanting vocals.
Ogre.
@@playmospider Ogre may have done better with Pailhead stuff than Ian! That new live Necromanicon album, wow!
@Unabomber2 deal!
Dope cover, skinny pup is awesome
ROCK 'N ROLL!!!!
@HegelKarl i hear ya!!!
@manirtizlsusername i have the tattoo on my arm and the t shirt
@manirtizlsusername that is a chemlab tshirt he is wearing i think. it is on 2 of Chemlabs shirts from " burn out at the hydrogen bar". i love these guys though....takes me back
Best combo EVER
esta vien pero no sele olle casy
Brings back memories...
holy crap
I actually have a piece of the fence in my rock memorabillia collection (it was sold off at one point believe it or not) it not only reminds me of the actual tour but it also reflects on the after party I experienced with Al and the boys on a few occasions, something I will never forget! (details not included for the sake of the weak of heart....lol)
veggie74 oh come on. So tell.
I loved this song back in the day when it was featured on the Streets on Fire skate video back in 89' by Pailhead!
Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste Tour
fucking awesome !!! al & ogre rulez .. thanx guys :)
@moonraker1973 haha yeah i've read it since i posted that comment. one of the best reads ever!
