@18:00, Did she just answer a question that " How can she see that coming?" Wow!
With all these leaders acting so nonchalant about every situation in Nigeria is annoying.
My take on this is that all politicians should be paid with the same civil servant payment scale. So we all can be on the same understanding.
If they're proposing 60k, let it be used for both politicians and civil servants.

The Hon. Minister is spot on. She is very humanistic and versed in her responsibilities. Hon Nakiru you have done well. Thumps up! Some Nigerians are impatient and unrealistic about issues and economic times. Everything is polarized and politicized, even when there are obvious and genuine reasons.
On the average Labour is more Political than seek wholesome welfare of workers. The leaders are not patriotic and they are insensitive to undercurrent situation. Much as I agree 120% for the Federal Government to constantly review Minimum Wage, it should be based on the Nations GDP.
Labour should reorient themselves to put any Government in power not only the Government in Center, including the State Governments
under pressure to get involved in massive production for exports; and gainful employment of the youths. That said; gradually wages will be leveraged and the Nigerian Worker will be happy.

Seun this is common sense what if the Federal Government agrees to honor the full amount that labor is asking for will the owner of Channels TV agree to that? That is the point that Minister is stressing. The ordinary Nigeria believe that the Federal Government is the problem so also is the organized labor. Are other workers around the country not Nigerians? The media should be aware of the difficulties involved in carrying the private sector along in this exercise. The Minister of Information was very clear on this issue and so also is the Minister of Labor. The idea of the media asking questions that may portray that the government is the problem is biased, because the government is not the only employer in the country and the organized labor is also fully aware of that. It is unlikely that the organized labor overcome the employers in the long run. Seun you cannot be the judge when it comes to your guest sharing information with you, you not to put them on the spot as if they are in court. You must carry out an independent investigation before even having an opinion on issues and not what you hear or see in the public media.
