I wanted to also ask. The gen 1 rip kit does not use or need a starter relay ? I’m assuming that function is operating through the EHC? There is no connection for one in the kit. Am I correct on this. Please let me know.
I have a major question I need help with I have a 2003 big dog chopper and I have a black box under my rear fender that is connected to the main harness and I’m not sure what it is .its starting to rub on the rear tire .any help would help me
Can anyone help trouble shooting? I installed gen 2 kit back in Feb. 08 pitbull ran awesome after installing the gen 2. Now all the mhc does is buzz . No lights, no ignition, nothing. Could a bad starter fry the new rip kit?

It would be nice if you actually showed this on a 117 older model instead of combining the two on here for us lamen guys who are gonna attempt to do this switch. I’m just saying. Seems another 20 minutes video wouldn’t put you out that much. I do at least appreciate this one I’m going to attempt this when I receive. My Gen2 in a couple days.

Why didn't you used a more simpler electric wire just like the wire from HD... probably i will do that to my Big Dog Convert...
