The reason you have problems with the fuel on these is the fuses. If this were my car, I'd wire that fuse to a heavy duty relay with large guage wire. The connection of the fuse is too much for the draw of the pump, so it heats up, and then you have that problem. The heating up is also cutting the amps going to the pump, while working the electrical system harder. Rewiring the fuel pump directly to the battery with a cheap relay and a fuse is the simplest solution to make it reliable.
Headers, cam, tune. Maybe find some stocker-ish interior pieces, seats. Absolutely have the variable-whatever tuned out.
May have hard time finding headers for AWD Pursuit Charger. RWD headers will not fit as 2014 Pursuit used older 5spd trans and clearance not even close to same as RWD models.
@@bigcjd49 They're available. Just have to make sure you're selecting the correct drivetrain. They're not any more expensive than the RWD long tubes.
the first thing you should do wenever you want to diagnose ANY car or truck for a suspension noise or bad steering / driving feeling is jack up the front so the tires are not touching the ground, and then you want to put your hands to the 9 o clock and 3 o clock position and feel for any play. When feeling for play, make sure that the car ignition is in the accessory or ON position wich will unlock the steering. Then, if you feel any play in the wheel, it could be a sign of a bad tie rod end, bad wheel bearing, or bad ball-joint or lower / upper control Arm. You also want to check for play with your hands in the 12 o clock and 6 o clock position aswell. Doing this quick front end check should be the FIRST thing you do before buying any car. If you do end up feeling some play, just get someone to shake the wheel for you while you are under the car and you should be able to spot the part that is loose and touch it to feel the play and confirm your diagnostic. Also, you can check the stabiliser bar link kits, you dont need to have the car jacked up for that. You just need to get a good hold of the link kit with your hand and try to pull / push on it. You should not feel any play on a link kit, if you feel any play or it feels loose then it needs to be replaced. Also, you want to do the same procedure to check your swaybar for any play around the sway bar bushings by pushing and pulling on it. If you feel any play or hear knocking sound when pushing and pulling on the swaybar, most likely the bushings needs to be replaced. Maybe you already know all of what i suggested, but i've watched a couple of your videos and it seems you could save yourself a lot of headache by doing these simple suspension checks on your vehicules BEFORE doing any other work on them. Hope this will help you in a way ! Cheers and good luck in your projects.
Nobody’s reading all that lil bro
Good ole hemi tick. Alum block cast iron exhaust manifolds break bolts.
More an issue of Mopar using cheap Chinese or Mexican bolts on them. When replaced with grade 8 American steel, they last forever
Fun spending time in the shop
nice looking car, i like the 2014 body style. i want to buy one, but we have several at work... man they are junk, power steering issues, front end rattle, clunking banging, exhaust hitting the floor, electrical issues. all with 100,000 miles on these dodges.. we have ford taurus and exploreres 150,000 miles no issues. well a bit of front end rattle but just sway bar links. love vermonters
Not true its how you take care of the vehicle. I own an R/T Plus RWD 116K and no issues. Routine serviced and that's it. She runs strong. I did some engine upgrades and body upgrades but other than that, I still get compliments on it they think I have a wrap but its the original color header orange.
Yessirrr new video finally i love the charger
I'm in NH, too. Just recently picked up a 16 at auction. I need a rear seat and door panels.
Finally a new video !!
I recommend a spoiler, louver, rain guards, rear diffuser and maybe cut the rear resonators.
for a NH car that looks great under it. think my 19 F150 has more rust on the frame.
How would you describe the power steering issue? I have a 2013 RWD and when I turn hard to the left it seems like the power steering completely goes away and it stiffens up.
The donut thing on the drivers side is the stock exhaust the passenger side is a "fix". My 14 awd charger broke on both sides and I had to put flex pipe on both. The axle should not move like that.
You need AlfaOBD.
Get yourself a Hellcat oil pump. It’ll help prevent the MDS system from eating your cams.
Or just buy a Diablo tuner and turn off MDS system
I’m building a ‘14 RT awd. Master plan is cam (mds delete), headers into 3” exhaust , torqstorm & tune
have you done anything so far?
Inner Tire Rods need changing driver side. change one sbould change both
Definitely too much play in that CV shaft, but confirm where it wiggling first before you replace them, though. While it's unlikely to be a broken or damaged front diff from what you're describing about the way it drives, a broken front diff isn't going to be fixed with new CV shafts. You can also hear the classic HEMI tick on startup, so that might be the most expensive fix on this car.
Definitely not lifter tick, definitely exhaust leak.
Must be waiting for parts to make a new video 😁
My 2012 civilian awd had all new power steering done before I bought it. 96k. Now I’m at 119 and done breaks and rotors. Awd censor module, both front axels, and trunk release sensor, water pump. All done by me (easy stuff) but the axles. Too cold and have to drop the ball joint. Cost about 600 bucks at a reputable shop. As long as the tick doesn’t surface, I think it’s a car worth doing the work. You’ll never have the option of a v8 awd car again. Make it last cause when they are gone, they are gone!
You can put the whole srt8 rear on it gotta get eveything tho diff, axles, knuckles, and driveshaft I believe then you'll have Brembo's on the rear.
Cant, unless want to blow transfercase. Rear diff must have 3.06-3.08 ratio. Front is 3.07.
Twin turbo awd hemi?
Does anyone know if you can change the torque converter to a higher stall on the awd 5.7 models?
Same exact trans and AWD system they used in old Grand Cherokee 6cyl models, so yes they are available
As you discovered start at the simplest and move up from there. You have very strong diagnostic skills.
Just saw this same Charger with 50k miles for 10k. Are these Chargers worth it? I've always wanted the Hemi with AWD.
Better off buying Grand Cherokee, love mine. Put 93 octane Diablo tune/CAI and cat back exhaust on her, and love it! Or just buy a buy a Grand Cherokee SRT8 and have big boy Hemi with AWD. Some guys have Trackhawks with 1500HP AWD Hemis
we are living the same life. Im abiout to buy one of these, i have a c5 same color and i live in NE lol
Buy a DiabloSport tuner and put higher octane tune on it, and eliminate the MDS system to save lifters and valvetrain. Best money you can spend on 5.7l Hemi engines. And 2014 is last year you dont need to unlock the ECM
I have a 2014 awd rt (not a police one) and would love to have my mds system deleted aswell as some other stuff cant find any a shop worth going to near me i live in mid ohio so if you know anywhere i could take it plz let me know
Call it FUZZ.
MDS delete, Diablo tune with pcm, transmission swap from the 5 speed auto to the 8 speed auto
does the 8 speed fit?
i thought the 8 speed doesnt fit with AWD+Hemi that's why they put the 5 speed in
I think it wont fit. V6 AWD uses 8HP45 with same (2009-2023) 44-40 transfercase. Never heard 8HP70/90 transmission, what can fit 44-40 transfercase.@@schlomoshekelstein908
Baja Dodge charger?
I have a regular 2014 awd rt charger and its probably the best car ive had so far in my life
No better then a crown vic
Well I'm only 23. I've had a f150, a neon, a grand prix, now this so yes its the best I've had. Tf you gotta come up talkin shit like that
U in ohio lets link and drive i have a 2014 awd rt civilian
Yeah, my son bought a 2016 at an auction that had recalls on the front CV maybe he’ll get another 160 thousand😂
how did that go? I see 2017-2019 for $11k-$15k in my area about 120k miles on them tho.
He got it for $6k and drove it 400 miles home and took it in for the recall. He did say it seem like it was slightly slower when he got it back but has put over 3000 miles on it since then and he loves it. his daily driver. very clean.
Call the car the "Challenged", or "Charge Not"
name it sergeant (Sarge)
Okay lets see what you're going to do with this Hemi Charger cop car.
Ughhh
Trade me
John 3:3-Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:7-Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 3:16-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I'd ask whether you had anything better to do than to pick a random video to proselyze on, but I suppose that's a given.
