Hope your doing good Haley, I love your videos and you are an amazing pet owner
I used to watch you when I was 12 and beg my mom for a bunny. I prepared a PowerPoint using all your tips on how to care for them😭 that was 9 years ago, time flies.
oh my god! this is so relatable 😭 my bunny is 3 now 💕
Hope you're doing alright, I miss your videos, watching old ones instead 😂
Will you ever post again 😭😭😭😭😭😭
why did she stop posting?
She posts a lot on Instagram but it’s dog related. Sterling is her only rabbit left. After he passes she’s not planning on getting anymore rabbits
So does that mean she will no longer post😥
@@user-eo2es8gy1r I asked her on Instagram when she opened up for questions, but she never replied. I doubt it though.
Haley, hope you and your pets are okay. Please come back to youtube, I miss you, look forward to your videos and your beautiful pets. Keep your head up!!
❤
Miss you so much❤❤❤
Hope you are doing well. You were the one i tuned into when i found a bunny in my yard. Thank you for all your informative information. BunBun is doing well.
Hii we really miss you ❤
Whenever I get down or stressed about my rabbits I watch your videos and it brings me joy/ inspiration! Thank you♡
I generally avoid Kaytee brand since they sell stuff bad for rabbits. I'd always choose Oxbow brand over Kaytee. Those dehydrated veggies and fruits seem good, though. I wish they sold hay cubes without alfalfa as well. Thank you for an interesting video!🙂
I think those hay cubes are alfalfa because they’re supposed to be treats for Guinea pigs/rabbits!
I used to watch your videos when i was 12. Almost 10 years ago!!! Im so glad I came back and saw you still make viecos. You inspired me to make my own rabbit care channel at that age. The hair suits you so well
It would be great if you could do one about Small Pet Select!
yes!
ahh i get so excited whenever you post! this was such a comprehensive review, your videos are so inspiring 🫶🏻
Hey!! Lol 😅
This is such a great video topic. My last rabbit died a few years ago and so I haven't bought these types of things for my rabbit. I did have a rabbit I sponsored in rescue. I would send things to him once in awhile but he too has passed away. I use to buy Small Pet Select 3rd hay from what I remember. My rabbits liked it the best
Haley thank you for the review we have been following you for years about advice for our two rabbits I think you should definitely do more product reviews because we trust your advice we hope everything's going well with you and keep up the good work
I always get so happy when you post!!This is a great video!!
I miss you and your videos 😢
Ooooohhhhh, this is the exact topic I have been so curious about!!! Thanks for the vid!!
This was an incredibly thorough review!! Thank you 💜💜💜
Such a good video! I'd love to see you compare Small Pet Select hay to Rabbit Hole.
I just want to say thanks for all the videos you’ve put up over the years! I’ve been a subscriber since 2018 and I give you all the credit (along with my vet) for teaching me how to be a great bun mom! I have the sweetest man bun in the world and hopefully in a month or so he’ll be able to have a wife bun, I got in touch with a rescue and they’re about four hours away but they’re coming to do a home check in three weeks then I’m going up there with my boy to do some speed dating and find him the perfect wife! He’s always a happy bun, there’s never a second where he’s not in a good mood and I know a wife will make him happier even though he’s pretty darn happy with my three cats!
I wish you had included Small Pet Select. That's the Timothy hay I use. I do buy Oxbow orchard grass for variety and have tried Oxbow oat grass, which my rabbits aren't enthusiastic for.
I would adore for you to do a video on stuff which people who don’t know buy, but are actually bad for rabbits! I have seen so many things that when I look closer they aren’t what they seem! I love you videos so much, thank you so much!
Hey there. I just got a bunny. And honestly your video are a life saver for me and Scotty. I would love to learn more from you! Hope to see more videos from you soon!❤
Can’t wait and would love to see a follow up video using these products with your rabbits……
Trying out the paper beds and see how well it absorbs… is it dusty? Etc.
Hello from WI 👋🙋♀️
Go to Fleet Farm and get hardwood wood stove pellets. 40lb bag are $6 that’s what I use for my litter boxes. Cheapest stuff compared to paper bedding and absorbs the smell. I compost all my litter into the bin the city pick up into 13 gallon compost bags or yard waste bags. 😂 We aren’t supposed to do that but they never check the bags. The truck just dumps the bin and off it goes to the compost heap. Save space and doesn’t go to the landfill. If I didn’t live in the Minneapolis suburbs I would compost it on my property.
I remember watching your videos 10 to 11 years ago! I got a lot of tips on rabbits and I’ve wanted a rabbit since, but they poop quite a lot I heard! X)
Hope you are doing ok. ✨✨✨
we've got fleet farm in Minnesota to!!!
The Oxbow Timothy/Orchard grass blend is what I give my 3. I did have to do the straight Timothy and I don't think they liked it as much.
I had found out those mini hay bales from kaytee had potato starch and decided not to buy it. I didn't want to take any chances. I have never bought any kaytee products other than a couple toys. I thought it would of been a cute thing to try with my rabbits.
My mom kept buying those for my guinea pig, rats and rabbits. No one ever ate it, they just used it as a toy!
Does anyone know what happened to 101 rabbits? You can’t even order on her online shop anymore?
She has two dogs and is putting all her energy and attention to them. Her parents moved from Wisconsin to Florida because she couldn’t cope with living on her own and they help out a lot. Sterling is her only rabbit now and after he goes she’s not getting anymore
I’ve been having a horrible time with rabbit hole hay I keep getting tons and tons of fox tail tops and they replace the box with more fox tail. It’s so frustrating it’s been a vicious cycle of emails. And $75 a box it had better be good healthy mountain grass, they need quality control!
Personally my rabbit will eat more if the hay is longer and won't touch the chopped up ones as much so that would be a major turn off for me.
I'd definitely love if you'd review the Small Pet Select hay and paper bedding and paper pellets bedding as well I love there premium paper pellet bedding since it's white and super light weight and has the lowest amount of dust and I find Carefresh pretty dusty same with Oxbow Eco straw pellet litter is love to know your opinion on the Small pet select white paper bedding I prefer white since it's easier to spot clean and keep track of your rabbits urine so that's just me I feel like the gray and brown Colored ones are harder to spot clean and observe the color of our rabbits urine
You're a beautiful woman and an intelligent rabbit professional. Thank you for educating me more on rabbits.
I'd love to see a small pet select review. My buns...I have 4 lionheads...eat their 2nd cut like it's going out of style lol. My ex uses the Walmart boxed brand for his bun. Could you do a comparison of the 2.
When will u post again I don’t mean to be rude but I loooove ur vids sooooooooo much
When will u post?
I grade Hay on cleanliness. I absolutely HATE dusty dirty hay. I have found binder string in hay, thats a big NO NO. I realize the hay is usually bailed as most Hay is. Another thing I hate is the brown weeds or broadgrasses that come in cheaper Hay. I found all your farm and fleet type stores sell dirty dusty, compacted Hay that has hardly any quality to it. Much of it resembles straw more than Hay. I refuse to buy bulk Hay any more for that reason. Yes, it may cost more for Oxbow, but at least it's quality Hay.
Yup Kaytee still has a lot of improving to do
my Iris really liked the little hay bale (I bought a marigold one) but I was concerned about the potato starch and probably wouldn’t buy it again because of that
Did you look at the composition and values of the different hays?
Hi, I see few products in canada, any idea abt bring from usa? Thanks
Can you do a review on Small Pet Select brand
RIP Ebony 😢
How’s the home where you are at now with your pets?
Your other UA-cam channel link is not working properly. Not sure if you deleted the channel or if the link is just messed up. Just thought I'd let you know.
Are you still running an Etsy store? Thanks!
It looks like Purina pro plan dog food bags. The only product I like from this brand that loves to make products saying it's for rabbits but it's actually not good for.. are the Hay Cubes but even then I'm worried about how much Alfalfa hay is in it for adult rabbits.
How much paper bedding should I buy to fill a cage 2 ft by 6 ft ?
Use fleece blankets from Walmart. They’re less then $4 each and washable. Better yet get an X-pen so your rabbit has more room.
is potato starch safe for rabbits? i wasn’t sure when i saw this product in stores but assumed i should avoid it
i don’t think they’re supposed to eat it especially since it derives from something they shouldn’t eat. but it is safe to use on their fur for dry baths
I only use Kaytee litter because it's just so much cheaper at least at my local store, but food and toys will always be oxbow
Hello 101Rabbits,
My girlfriend and I are reaching out for guidance with our bunnies. We have a total of 7, of which two are 20 months old (two females, Sky/Midnight) and the other two are 33 months old (two males, Oreo/Smokey) and 3 are just babies, which are all female. We just brought the 3 babies home last week and the smell of the baby bunnies set off Sky. She started becoming increasingly aggressive to the point we had to put her in another cage by herself. She started attacking Midnight and even us. Sky and Midnight already had a shaky bond to begin with before the whole situation we are going through. Her and Midnight grew up as a bonded pair from babies then introduced to Oreo/Smokey, which went smoothly. We have been trying to get Sky used to the smells of the baby bunnies and trying to rebond her with Midnight, but nothing is working. She will be okay for a little bit, but then after 30 mins or less, she goes back to being aggressive. Also, Sky, Midnight, Oreo and Smokey have been spayed/neutered. Any help is appreciated and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
what type of hay would you recommend for picky rabbits?
You can sprinkle rosehips and herbs into it- her shop sells packets of those
You can also try orchard grass hay and other types of hay my rabbits love orchard grass hay they are picky about treats and what types of hay they do like
I use pine pellets and bedding. I have been on the hunt for bedding that doesn't get all stuck in my bunnies fur. I have 2 lionheads who hate when I have to pick bedding off of their butts. If you or anyone in the comments has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
Horse stall bedding?
Try Paper pellets bedding it's amazing I love the small pet select premium paper pellets bedding and the back 2 Nature Paper pellet litter those are two of the few only safe paper Pellets bedding/ litter definitely get paper pellets and none with baking soda as baking soda isn't safe for them
for my lionhead I use just pine pellets and a layer of hay on top. The paper bedding gets all over his butt
@@maryneedham419 Thank you for suggesting the paper pellets. I'll have to grab a package of those when I place my next small pet select order. I don't mind the pine pellets I've been using, but I'm not a fan of how they crumble when the bunnies pee. It makes it a little hard to spot clean because it falls threw the holes in the scooper.
@@katieb6164 That is what I ended up doing after I finished up the last bag of paper bedding.
I choose orchard grass hay not because of allergies I just think it smells better is that me being selfish or is it not should I switch back to Timothy hay if I'm not Allergic my rabbit doesn't really seem to care he likes both
Come back (⋋▂⋌)
IM BEGGING YOU IF YOU SEE THIS ANSWER ILL GET DOWN ON MY KNEES AND BEG!!!I love my bunny with all my heart and I want her to come to Egypt with me (im going for a whole year bc my parents are making me) she’s my emotional support animal and I need her. The only problem is that in Egypt they only have alfalfa hay 😭. I know alfalfa hay isn’t good for rabbits but is it okay if I feed it to her? If not then can I give her a certain vegetable as a substitute for hay? I understand if you think it’s better for her to stay here but I’ll try anything that can get her to come with me safely
could you look into getting her Timothy hay pellets (or any other hay that you feed her) or something?
the only reason it’s “bad” is because it has a lot of calcium which is why it’s meant for baby rabbits, not adults
there’s no way for you to have it shipped? I mean the only thing I can think of is having a friend or someone where you live right now shipping you Timothy hay but I’m not sure how that would work with it being from a different country other than Egypt
good luck
Hey does anyone know what to do when one of your bunnies d-es but u we’re hoping for a pair since it’s better for them. I was supposed to get a pair but one of them died:/ and now I’m nervous how things will go cus I haven’t even met them irl.
Also how do find a bunny who will get along w her. She is 4 and unknown breed and I live in Iceland so not as many choices as in America like where u can go and find one that fits with the bun.
@@Aceofspades2006 You can always see if there are any other bunny rescues around. It might take time but bunnies can form bonds with other bunnies that they aren't already bonded with. I would look up some UA-cam videos on how to bond two bunnies together.
Anyone know what happened?
oxbow!!
Kaytee treat sticks cause a huge abscess in my buns mouth . Product isn't safe for buns 😞
Wait, so the Rabbit Hole hay is $25 for 24 ounces - about a pound and a half? That's $100 for 6 pounds of hay. And 24oz is not even a day's worth of hay for one rabbit. It would cost me about $200 a week just in hay, and even if it was the best hay in the world, I don't have $800 a month to spend on hay. I'll stick with Small Pet Select. $35 for 12 pounds. This is nothing against you, Haley, just saying. That's a LOT of money.
I bought 40 lbs of rabbit hole hay for like $110. It's a huge amount of hay. You have to buy larger amounts for it to be cost effective
Chewy has 50% off 1st auto ship order. I put in a 20lb box of Rabbit Hole Orchard grass hay in my cart. The order went from $69.47 - $26.05- $17.37 = $28.72. It took 50% and another 20% off.
At least Kaylee is improving, they were really bad for a while.
excuse me sir and madam, I want to sell hollan lop rabbit, are you interested
What the hell happen to your hair???
