I know this is nothing like any of the rescues mentioned in the clip, however many years ago I was driving along a busy road & I noticed a baby rabbit, in the middle of the road. The animal was petrified as the cars were driving past. I stopped my car, put on the hazard warning lights, got out of my car & stopped the on coming traffic. It took me about 5-10 minutes to get the rabbit to safety. I simply ignored the honking horns ensuring that the rabbit was safely under a hedge before getting back into my car. The drivers closest to the incident, gave a a thumbs up before driving away. I felt good that day & it is something I will not forget!

I once heard a kitten meowing when I was in the backyard. I grew up on a Christmas tree farm in the middle of nowhere & people were always ditching cats out near us. I went out and meowed to get the kitten to come to me. It had ticks all over it and was very hungry. I fed it, took the ticks off and kept it. Named him Gray since he was all gray. Found out I’m very allergic to cats so it had to be kept in the barn but he had a happy life and was a really good mouser.🐈
I rescued a rat, he wandered into my garage while I was working under my car, he was running from a cat, he was somebody's pet that they had released, I put up flyers and they all got yanked down, so I kept him, named him lucky and got him a ferret cage, he loved it.
This video reminds me of a story I heard of once. It takes place in siberia, a local vet went to leave his house one day but couldn't and after escaping through a window, he went around front to find out what was keeping his door jammed. It was a Tiger lying on his front stoop. A tiger with chicken wire wrapped around it's neck. The animal somehow properly deduced that this man was able to help it and allowed itself to be corralled in an outdoor shed while the man worked on removing the chicken wire and dressing it;s neck wounds. Eventually after about a week, the tiger disappeared. A few days later, the man's front door was blocked again, so again he climbed out a window to see what was blocking his door. It was the carcass of a deer, laying there on his front stoop, with Tiger tracks in the snow. Apparently the Tiger also knew that assistance requires compensation.

I just want to remind everybody watching this that it's important to take as many precautions as necessary when/if you ever see a situation like this out in the open. Most wildlife preservationists will actually recommend you avoid interacting with wild animals, especially if they are endangered (and even more so if they have a high market for their remains, like elephants) because that teaches them that interacting with humans can lead to trusting people that shouldn't be trusted. It's typically only recommended to do so if the animal's life is at stake, like in many of the clips shown in this video.
We lived across the street from a lake. A mother mallard had 6 babies but a new driver mowed her down leaving them hiding in the bushes. Along came Hank. A giant white goose. So sweet seeing him teach them how to swim. He adopted them.
This is true. When I came across an adult leopard in my back yard with it's head stuck in a watering pot, I made sure to wear my leather gloves instead of the thinner gardening gloves. Once it was free, it thanked me and leaped over my fence to the neighbor's yard to eat their beagle.
Found a kitten under our car once. Parents went to get stuff for the kitten and apparently they were worried we were gonna release her back outside but came home to two kittens. Found her sister mewing loudly nearby. They lived a happy nearly 2 decades with us.
i think in that moment, anyone would drag anyone out of there to help an animal. no matter if ally or foe i wouldve cooped with my worst enemy to save an animal
Sadly, the animal was probably put there by the very humans that saved it. There's been tons of videos that put the animal in danger just so they can get a clip out of saving it.
To be honest this is one of the most wholesome and beautiful videos I have ever seen and I was close to crying while watching this. Thank you I am gonna subscribe
First of all... morality is not objective. What is good? In the grand scheme of the universe it is a stupid human construct. However, people who show empathy are statistically more prevalent than those who are not. It is part of human evolution to be social creatures. It is just that the people with the most power, money and influence (due to the way our society is built) gravitate towards the socio and psychopathic spectrum.
Why is that so? You just watched a compilation of good people doing good deeds. A compilation of evil people harming animals just for their own pleasure can be made as easily. Then what would you say? Think before you jump to conclusions.
I adore these videos and each and every rescuers saving and helping near death helpless animals. I teared a bit. You all go your way even risking ur lives to help these creatures! Thank you for coming to earth to show your caring and live for animals.
Then you realize that several of the clips on here are from those garbage youtube channels that stage animal rescues. that dog covered in tar is from one of those channels.
@Juliesure, most people don't care about suffering that doesn't affect them (which is why they eat meat), but it's not like the average person would just walk past and ignore an animal that clearly needs help like what's happening in this video. people have empathy for suffering they can easily see, but nobody wants to put effort into seeing it and helping.
@Julie "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10 🥸 "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed." "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings." "Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding." "Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered." "The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked." Note: There're many wicked souls suffering in pain inside, but are invisible to the outside eye.
1:15 cats are kind of odd animals in that they're generally pretty intelligent but will often behave like they're incredibly stupid (and I speak as someone who has owned a cat for most of my life).
5 years back, I was playing with my friend next to a school and we heard kittens crying. Listening to the sound carefully, we were able to say it was coming from a school bus next to us. We couldn’t enter the bus as it was locked so we had to open one of its window which had a broken lock and jump in. We saved the kittens and we took good care of them. I don’t exactly know how the kittens ended up inside the bus that’s locked, but I’m glad that we were able to save them.
I have no idea why, but this made me cry. Pretty sure I’m just a marshmallow who can’t handle animals in pain. Sending out blessings to all who love, care about and protects animals!
You cry about animals' pain because you are human with the whole meaning of the word! Not like some others who are emotionless. Keep being so a sweetheart!
He really don't want a hug, they prefer intimidating the "ennemy" than running away becase they're slow so they just stand up and raise the paws to look "bigger", that's really common for animals, also the porcupine is an echidna (and they're good swimmers).
Great choice words, "He understood the assignment"! A cat being able to understand and recognize someone for their deeds confirm that said persons behavior went beyond kindness. As ***genuine help, goes beyond kindness.
It’s our job as people to help animals and take care of them. I love the good people in this video and all the good people who would do the same around the world
"this porcupine swims toward": that's an echidna; "what is he (the koala) doing instead of running away": koalas don't run away the most of times, they try to intimidate enemys by standing up and raising the paws to look taller.
Every time I watch one of your videos I get choked up I believe animals should be always protected from harm thank you for the humans I wish there were more of them that care
When I was in elementary school, grade 4 I think, I saved a black widow spider from a group of kids trying to kill it with a stick. I picked it up and the other kids screamed and ran away, and then I was able to place the spider in the bushes nearby so it had a better hidden place to live. I’ve also saved many other spiders from people populated places like the grocery store I work at and at my parents house. I’ve never once been bitten.
Spiders are such misunderstood creatures, and it’s sad that so few people take the time to see that. All life is sacred, from the tiny gnat to the large elephant, and even plants, are all living beings that deserve to live their lives in peace and love.

Found out I’m very allergic to cats so it had to be kept in the barn but he had a happy life and was a really good mouser.🐈
Sounds like Gray was lucky to find you!

This is called humanity..because of which this earth is still a place to live ..love to all rescuers ❤️
This ain’t, humanity is evil.
Ironically the vast majority were caused by humans.
I don’t know if this story is true, but it is all together heartwarming, distressing and hilarious.
even the tiger knows doctors dont work for 'exposure'.
Humans don’t give compensation like tigers after taking. Humans are usually less moral compared to animals and only do moral things for approval
This video gives me hope for humanity. Watching all those rescues made me smile. Thank you all for saving these animals!
the same!
dont over hype humans too much tho . for every animal we save, we kill thousands. since the 16th century, humans have driven at least 680 vertebrate species to extinction. whole species. as in none left. that's who we really are. not this video. this is the exception
@@itiswhatitis235 I don't overhype humans. I'am just commenting on this video. I know how humans are and can be. How they treat animals, each other etc. But this is just indeed a glimpse of the humanity of humans. That humans are still capable off having compasion and help animals in need. I smiled because of the positivity of this video. And positivity is what we need nowadays. Have a nice day and stay save!

I don't believe any animal rescue videos or helping animals videos done by third world countries where the person filming is some anonymous person in the street.
Its most likely a scam. UA-cam is full with fake animal rescue videos where the person filming , is the one who put the animal in danger in the first place, or mistreated the animal.

Years ago I lived in San Jose California and had a pack of feral cats in the woods out back. One had a flea collar he tried to step out of so the band went under his leg instead of around his neck. He stayed like that for months until the skin nearly grew around it. The first time I saw him he walked up to me and allowed me to cut it off gently. He went back in the woods and I never saw him again. He'll always make me smile though, he knew who to come to! I love cats!!

0:29 seems to be a white tailed deer buck

I wonder how many of these rescuers going to heaven have partaken of flesh carved from a conscious animal hanging from a chain because of thousands of botched stunning procedures happening every day in thousands of slaughterhouses? Or flesh from animals scalded alive in boiling water to loosen their skin (which only happens 1% or 2% of the time, but when millions EVERY MINUTE get slaughtered in those places around the world, that's thousands a day ... and yes it happens all the time in industrialized countries). @@1mol831 why? Tell me your pov
Seeing people help animals makes me so happy.
Yes, some zookeepers disguise themselves as animals when they are taking care of animal babies/ rescuing for the same reason.
Too bad that 90% of people don't understand this
Very true! Thank you for this
This is true.
3:33 I aspire to have that much trust in the people around me! thats insane!

To be honest this is one of the most wholesome and beautiful videos I have ever seen and I was close to crying while watching this. Thank you I am gonna subscribe
This made my day.
Just shows there are more good people on this Earth than bad.
Sadly… you are wrong
First of all... morality is not objective. What is good? In the grand scheme of the universe it is a stupid human construct.
However, people who show empathy are statistically more prevalent than those who are not. It is part of human evolution to be social creatures. It is just that the people with the most power, money and influence (due to the way our society is built) gravitate towards the socio and psychopathic spectrum.
Why is that so? You just watched a compilation of good people doing good deeds. A compilation of evil people harming animals just for their own pleasure can be made as easily. Then what would you say? Think before you jump to conclusions.
These are only 100 good people or more but bad are more than 1000 😔 unfortunately

Every one should watch this video...and try to understand that why helping someone for very short period of time can change their life!
It's very reassuring to know that there's a lot of caring people in this cruel world.
@Julie why are you so negative
@Juliesure, most people don't care about suffering that doesn't affect them (which is why they eat meat), but it's not like the average person would just walk past and ignore an animal that clearly needs help like what's happening in this video. people have empathy for suffering they can easily see, but nobody wants to put effort into seeing it and helping.
@Julie "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10 🥸
"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed."
"The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."
"For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings."
"Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding."
"Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered."
"The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked."
Note: There're many wicked souls suffering in pain inside, but are invisible to the outside eye.
I wish people were kind to each other the same way they are with animals

This helps to restore my confidence in the human species. There are so many good, caring and brave people.
1:15 cats are kind of odd animals in that they're generally pretty intelligent but will often behave like they're incredibly stupid (and I speak as someone who has owned a cat for most of my life).
They just rely far more on their instincts
5 years back, I was playing with my friend next to a school and we heard kittens crying. Listening to the sound carefully, we were able to say it was coming from a school bus next to us. We couldn’t enter the bus as it was locked so we had to open one of its window which had a broken lock and jump in. We saved the kittens and we took good care of them. I don’t exactly know how the kittens ended up inside the bus that’s locked, but I’m glad that we were able to save them.
The mother cat probably kept them there, since it was a litter of kittens instead of just one. Did y'all look for the mom?
As the dominant species on the planet, this is what our job should be, saving and looking after the other animals that can't do it themselves
I have no idea why, but this made me cry. Pretty sure I’m just a marshmallow who can’t handle animals in pain.

My heart broke when the koala spread its arms for a hug after being rescued!
He really don't want a hug, they prefer intimidating the "ennemy" than running away becase they're slow so they just stand up and raise the paws to look "bigger", that's really common for animals, also the porcupine is an echidna (and they're good swimmers).
Then the drop bear leaped into the air and clawed their eye out.
