- It is no brainer that stories coming out of the Middle East have been that of doom and gloom. While it is not in dispute that some Kenyans suffer at the hands of inhumane individuals, it is also true that in the midst of the chaos, there are some stories of hope, and while we wait for sanity to prevail, Citizen Tv’s Willis Raburu and radio citizen’s Shatta Boy who are in Doha Qatar, sought to look out for the diamonds in the ruff. The spoke to Kenyans about their businesses, aspirations and hopes on the sidelines of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022.
As a qatari citizen we do respect Kenyans who are hustling and working in our country . Kenyans and Somalis who are in Qatar are really business oriented people. Greetings from doha

Passed through the airport and was astounded at the number of Kenyans there. Through baggage to security Kenyans know what they want. Very professional and tend to recognize other Kenyans

This is amazing. I’ve been to Doha and I can’t believe how our people are hard working, social and welcoming and the minute you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta it’s different. I wish these people could just one day go back and show workers in JK how to do things

Qatar has standards economically close to the USA , except some labor discrimination which will take time to fix , if you get an opportunity take it before it becomes hard to find

I've worked in Qatar for several years ; my salary has never been taxed , the employer provides for food , transport and accommodation as per Qatar labour law, there's no harassment from police like in US ....
Qatar is one of the best countries to work in .
