Digitone 2 - nice! I really hope that it features loopable envelopes. The MIDI tracks could be great to control the TWISTfm for the ultimate Dub Techno setup
Should I get a small midi controller keyboard to work with the digitone 2? If so, what one? I keep seeing midi controllers with lots of buttons and knobs but I feel that they're probably already on the digitone 2 so it might be surplus to requirements.

I don't think the Digitone 2 and the Tonverk are the same thing? It seems the Tonverk is their flagship devices... maybe a replacement for Analog IV? Plus, just today, the Digitone 2 pictures are all over the internet.

I don't think it's necessary they release one anytime soon, if at all. Both the new boxes have 16 tracks. Can just use either of them to sequence tracks on the Syntakt you want the extra 64 steps for. 🤷

Digitone Keys is my favourite instrument. I'm impressed by the Digitone 2 but probably won't get it until it's in Keys form, it's just a better format for me versus the desktop module format. Let's hope and pray for a Keys 2 follow up 🤞

Digitone and Digitakt have been around far longer than Syntakt. It makes sense that they now have MK2 versions.
