Simple Man (Lynyrd Skynyrd cover)

Today’s Sungday was quite a challenge (and not just because it’s Skynyrd). I tasked myself by performing the quietest cover I could and this song came to mind.
No clue as to why, one day a few years back, I decided to learn ‘Simple Man’. Lynyrd Skynyrd were never a part of my listening growing up. Of course, I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve heard of them - my first introduction being ‘Tuesday’s Gone’ on the Happy Gilmore soundtrack - but this song never jumper out at me until one night around 1am. It was stuck in my heard, so I learned a little and as I read the words, I just fell in love with it.
It’s a beautiful song that really revs me up, so easing through it was a real mission, but a fun one.
