Linda Lynn was why Mielle never gets my damn money. The owner's husband getting her personal number from an invoice and calling her at night was heinous.
I stopped using Mielle products years ago when the harassed a black woman for an honest review. Both the owner and her husband went after her. It was crazy and I have not and will not give them a penny of my money.
She did ! I realized the brand blocked me. My Sister sent me the post made by Monique via Instagram. I remember that I unfollowed because of what was done to Linda . I guess Monique took note and blocked us. Lol
I believe the people are asking for you because: Due to your recent allergic hunch Switching from Aphogee to Mielle as a leave in for some of your clients If the allegations are true, how are you protecting the heads that are paying you, especially since miss ma'am seems to be ducking and dodging accountability 😬
My question would be what exactly am I protecting them from? There's no controversy with the product that I'm using. I've been discussing the topic with my clients and we are both on the fence about the legitimacy of these claims mainly because none of them are concrete evidence of anything. Neither my clients or I have noticed any issues so I don't think there's anything that needs to be adjusted. I don't allow social media to dictate my decisions.
Very fair, I agree. But a lawsuit (no matter what the future will say its validity) is not social media. But also, I'm not on social media like you, a creator, so I'm not aware of what specific product it was or the deluge of "content" that has appeared due to these allegations. My apologies: I didn't do my googles, but my brain had made the connection in my head to ask, but at that time would have seemed really random (to me). You posting this triggered me to ask and its contents triggered my question.
@@finally_dorian so... There's no lawsuit in regards to the women experiencing hair damage or hair loss. The lawsuit in question was the result of improper labeling for products in California and similar areas. There's no litigation concurrently related to what's going on in social media right now. I'm also not offended. It's a legitimate question and concern but it's one that I am very open and candid about with my clients. Hell earlier today my client and I watched a compilation of videos talking and the issue while I was using the mielle leave in in her hair. I'm not really concerned about what other people have going on. I'm concerned about whether I see issue in the products or methods that I utilize. When I do, I move accordingly but if I let social media scare me, I wouldn't be using hair grease and having the success with my clients that I have been having.
same, it was horrible but I didn't learn my lesson and got the rosemary line. I have experienced breakage but I didn't realise it could be the products.
@@valencia9981 sorry to hear that, I have this theory that Mielle, Cantù, shea moisture blow up and reach more African people and don’t work on those hair types given that they started in what America right? So then it becomes a game of who calls it out. But also maybe it’s a production thing that comes with selling the brand.

@@Tsuferg You may be right. Interestingly enough, I noticed a while back that she started marketing her products to those with 2b or straighter hair. Then you have this all these videos with Caucasian influencers touting Mielle. When asked about it she said she's not "selling out", she "selling up" What the hell is that supposed to mean?! "Selling up" as opposed to what? Selling down!
About four years ago, the UA-cam influencer, Linda Lynn, along with a whole bunch of other influencers made videos about Mielle sharing their experiences. Linda Lynn did not have a good experience, but she was very respectful and professional in how she said that well Mielle’s creators ,the wife AND husband came for her neck. They used her ordering information to reach out to her to threaten her to harass her like they really dragged her through the mud and four years later, it’s coming to fruition what she said from the beginning.
