IS IT HARAM TO VOTE?! A quick video #response to groups who discourage Muslims from voting under the banner of Islam portraying it as an act of war against God.
Yusuf (A.S) was working under a system but did not make laws. He still recognized that Allah(swt) is the law maker. However, this is irrelevant, the Shariah of previous prophets is for that time, not for us. By voting you are electing someone to represent you and to play his/her role in lawmaking. Therefore this person is making laws from their own mind rather than allowing Allah to be the lawmaker. How can this be when we know Allah is our Raab and he defines laws for everything in life.
