- Update: This is actually a 1937 Wurlitzer model 412. I misidentified it.
A deal came along on another Jukebox. I had to snap it up. The early ones don't come by often. I hope to take what I learn on this one and see if I can apply it to the modified Seburg project. This machine is very basic and I hope to emulate it on the other machine.
Thanks for saving it! I have a 1938 Wurlitzer.
Wurlitzer 412, I redid one a few years back and it was a beauty. Got rid of the heavy Horeshoe pickup and put a p151 pickup in it. this did away with the heavy weight of the arm. Victory Glass has them.
Yea, I need to update the info. My book showed up for a p12 when I noticed this was a different model. The wrong picture is also shown on the American jukebox history website.
A 1936 Wurlitzer 412. I just had mine fully restored and completed about a week ago. I had to have a back door made and find the fancy back panel for it and also replace the amp and speaker. I hope you can get that beauty up and running.
I would love to see your machine and what was done. That would help me out if you wouldn't mind posting a video. 🙂
@@electricalmagicsmoke I only have one video of it completed from the gentleman who restored it. I've been meaning to call the woodshop who redid the cabinet for before and after pic.

Do you have an email?
Certainly a beautiful looking unit.
Strip the whole chassis bare and dip it in disinfectant, then power wash it off.
Should come off with a little brass brush and some good and gunk remover
That’s WAY BETTER than junk jukeboxes of today, that are too “today” themed. They play CD’s 💿, which don’t hold to the history of yesteryear. Your friend, Jeff.
I just noticed something, the display glass for the title boards isnt curved like its suppose to be
That's a lot of work there. What with the rat turds and the veneerial disease on the cabinet top. Good luck. 😊👍
Thanks, I'll get the penicillin shots ready 😅
