The very beginning felt more like a mix of MaxX Unlimited (The offbeat air) and the Legend of Max. The staggered 16th runs are definitely very reminiscient of the latter half of Max 300.
DDR would be way ahead of its time if this song and its charts were actually in DDR 2nd mix. Also, I don't think BPM changes and stops were a thing during that mix.
I know one song from 2ndMIX (albeit the CS version) that has BPM changes, Love This Feeling. Stops only existed from MAX and onwards (maybe 5thMIX CS had one??)
This chart is compromised of steps from 20 other DDR Boss songs. Bit of Max300 in the start, Paranoia hades in the middle, and Valkyrie dimension at the end.
Haha. No offense taken, and for another record, I am pretty good at 1x no bar now days. I only play old mixes no bar with 1x obviously. And I have quite a few PFC's on them. Another long term goal I'm working on is Re AAAing Extreme no bar.
And I would always notice this years ago. Play say Dead End, Drop Out on 3rd & 4th mix. Then play them on Max 2 and up. Because of the 30 vs 60fps they always seemed "slower" to me with the doubled fps. Ever think that? Just wondering. I guess it's more of your eyes make you think that because it's a lot smoother in 60fps. And because of the 30fps you really can't play from 4th mix on down on most HDTV's. 5th mix is fine for me but 4th and on down is unplayable. Timing adjustdoesnothing
And there we go. POSSESSION is another story. It's not really that fast. In fact it's Expert chart is my second favorite when dealing with the boss songs. I'm fine with them when they fit the situation. Drop Out is fine but Uranus is not. Few examples off the top of my head would be near the end of Do It Right 80's Electro Mix (Annoying not hard) and a extreme example would be Dead End Groove Radar Special with its quick triple jumps. Other times it fits like Afronova. It's hard to explain.
I disagree i think it could be pfc'd in second mix mode, unless it alters the timing windows somewhat, as long as its synced fine as long as you can do it full stop you should EVENTUALLY be able to do it on 1x flat no problem. Just practice away at it in another engine (stepmania?) till you know it well enough.
Yeah, streams of Jumps along with Single Jump Single Jump...... It's not too bad at all until about 1:01 then it just gets to REALLY?!?!?! You couldn't think of ANY Step patterns other than the Bull ITG loves to do..... 1:53 AGAIN shows what I mean. I understand it's a "Boss" song, but I'm actually shocked the only BPM Change is a slowdown rather than a speed up to 600+ BPM like Konami likes to do. It's seriously NOT THAT HARD to make a Tough but interesting Boss Chart without BS Gimmicks.
Well ive played and SS'd things on a legit 2nd mix / Dancing stage 1/1.5 in the past so i know its doable but i also know its a weird engine, im sure though if someone wanted to do it and could do it 1x flat on a modern engine it would just be a matter of time
I see. The only crossovers I find that are truly absurd are Pluto Relinquished and Healing D Vision. Outside of those I love them. I'm not fond of quick jumps (Mostly air in general) so 1:53 - 1:58 is what I don't agree with. To each his own.
It doesn't look fun? It may be because of the conditions you have to play it in at the moment. I love playing this on Stepmania. It crashes when I try to play on flat so I can't replicate how it is here.
yea that's another thing. i hate quick jumps (well at least VERY fast jumps). like in Uranus on challenge, I can do those. and crossovers, i don't mind them too much as long as they're not so damn many and that they're not unnecessary.
Yeah ill be honest with you nobody seems to have that drive anymore :( If i had access to this on my cab id probably do to it what i did to maxx unlimited, i.e. play nothing but that for the entire night to get it :P
Not sure about that. Another thing to note is the game engine feel. It really doesnt feel like a newer mix in this mode. I'd say it might be possible that someone could do it 1x flat in X3 mode, but not in 2nd mix if you catch my drift. I guess you just gotta try 2nd mix mode for yourself to get a feeling what makes this so difficult.
regardless, i still think it looks unpleasant to me. there's just TOO many crossovers. it's rediculous. but i do like this song though...just not the chart. lol
I'll concede that point to you. I will agree if someone REALLY wanted to, they could, in principal, PFC this in 2nd mix mode. However I keep my claim that no one WILL.
Oh wow, the announcer is a lot less annoying (and much less frequent) on older mixes.
I heard that once you pass it in 2nd mix on Maniac, it unlocks for X3. Same with Trip Machine.
There's always the Revolution course~ :3

Late ass comment i know but all the steps are refrences to charts like how the first few notes are part of healing-d-vision expert

Good goal my friend, DDR Extreme is my favorite song list for the AC, but max is pretty close.
Exactly what I thought too!
I also love Drop Out and MAX 300 Super Max Me Mix on Challenge because of the jumps
The beginning felt like the jumps from the middle of Healing D Vision expert.
because it is!
Does 2nd mix still have the screwed up timing windows from 1st mix?
Will this song gonna be playable (soon) on X3 mode? Or only exclusive to 2nd mix mode forever?

Dr. D Gaming
However, You couldn’t beat THIS shit, dude. I have no hopes you would pass the songs like this one.
Imagine doing 18s 1x no bar though lol
@@vellothedreepy5930 you seem miserable
The BGA is the same idea. MAX Period is with DDR 1st Mix / Paranoia Revolution is with 2nd ReMix. I thought the same thing as your comment ;)
is your machine jaa or aaa?
I guess we can say that Paranoia officially turned bad.
Get it? Turned. 360 BPM.
...aaah screw it.
I love Uranus and Possession in challenge, but the part that mimics Paranoia Hades and Fascination MAXX (the slow down part) is what will.kill me
Don't forget the x1 Flat
REVOLUTION Challenge mode video soon? :D
....From 180 to 360.... I get it?
2:31~2:37 completely agree!!

there is no code to change arrow color in 2nd mix

entering the solo footcode doesnt work? :(
Oh, so that's what 10's would've been called.

Why does this song remind me a bit of Max Period.
how did u get this?
Peter Huang it was on a machine on X3 vs 2nd Mix and he chose to play 2nd mix
Kyle Bovet Nice laughs

This song is absolutley mental! I think its even worse or the same as Valkyrie Dimension

1:30 Dohoho.
fuckin NASTYYY WHAATTT
A few years later...
PFC'd by pros.
yeah, but they didn't have to play on 1x flat
革命しなくていいのに…
You said Manic instead Maniac
パチだ気をつけろ!!
SO DIFFICULT IN 1.27~1.32
Another clearly amazing chart by the master steppers at Konami! /sarcasm
godamn i hate flats! makes things so much harder! you can for the very least fc this on the X3 side DrD.
Not sure about that. Another thing to note is the game engine feel. It really doesnt feel like a newer mix in this mode. What the hell
regardless, i still think it looks unpleasant to me. there's just TOO many crossovers. it's rediculous. but i do like this song though...just not the chart. lol
Now you see where the idea for Valkyrie Dimension came from, lol.
Damn dude wtf I thought you were going to do like 100x better
I'll concede that point to you. I will agree if someone REALLY wanted to, they could, in principal, PFC this in 2nd mix mode. However I keep my claim that no one WILL.
this doesn't look fun at all. i hate charts like that. there's a way to make a song fun and challenging at the same time. and there are some.
valen callampa xd hahahahaah
What a horrible chart :(
This is honestly the stupidest chart I've ever seen. Is Konami being serious?
