The passion and delight between Lois and Clark is unique and unmistakably wonderful. It such a Stark contrast to Clark and Lana.
it's there with Clark and Lana, but they are much younger. By the time Lois and Clark are together, they both have had their hearts broken, experienced loss. The relationship developed over time and both were at a point in their life they knew who they were and weren't still searching. I will always be Clark and Lana fan, but we all knew he ends up with Lois.

@@jo-didthatbeatdirty182 well Lana is in the comics as his first love as well. So she was gonna be in the show. Clark going from loving Lana to Lois is a BIG part of the story of how he becomes Superman. He had to deal with Lana for the sake of the plot.

Yes Tom is older in this scene compared to the earlier seasons which makes his acting a bit off but if he was playing the nervous card then he did an excellent job! I mean when you purpose to the woman you love how in the hell are you not nervous. Especially someone like Clark. Yes, he was nervous too when he purposed to Lana but that was only used as a last resort to keep him from losing her. This was truly genuine. Not saying Clana wasn’t but the difference here is Clark was purposing to Lois because he truly wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and he did!

-@@nenabunena when he started in the series he looked immature, very young. He LOOKED like a high-school kid. It's hard to pull off self-confidence when you still look like you are wet behind the ears. But when he became a more mature-looking man, it becomes believable.

People give Lana a hard time for not accepting Clark’s proposal back in season 5 but rewatching it and he took her to his fortress and showed her everything all at once so it was understandable for her to be a bit surprised. Just making that point for whatever it’s worth. Glad Clark found happiness with Lois but he will always hold a special place in his heart for Lana. 🙏🙏

@@fandomking8939 I do agree. Their moments together were so memorable. Season 8 was the end of Smallville for me. If you're a die hard Clark Kent/Lois Lane couple fan, you will love the way it works out with them. As for me I wanted Clark with Lana at times. Then there's Chloe who is my favorite on the show and the one I relate to the most. Lois although I do like Erica's portrayal of her I couldn't get with them as a couple. But it is what is is. :) Clark's proposal to Lana was outstanding. More than this. :)

The actor's were having an affair off set since 2006. Facts. They were gonna leave their spouses after the show ended cuz Erica said once smallville was over she was gonna spend alot of time in los Angeles and she said she will do everything and anything she can there in la and then she paused and said to get a fresh new look out of life. So it seemed that she and Tom were gonna leave their partners and start new life with each other in la where Tom lives but then Erica later on had a change of heart and went back to her husband and broke toms heart. This is why tom and Erica don't keep in touch and why he never talks about Erica. She broke his heart. She shattered him. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. So sad but true story
