What is the max depth for the speaker pods and speakers for the tour pak? I have a Sony AUX7000 head unit and looking for speakers to compliment the head unit.
Appreciate all the videos and assistance with us audio "nuts". 2 questions for you when you have a moment 1) - What is your take on the DS18 & Skar Audio lines...specifically the Pro Zt6 from DS18. 2). Have you guys every modified the rear stock pods on a Ultra to fit a 6.5? I don't mind losing the volume controls etc...would like to be able to slap some Mmats 6.5's into the rear pods. 😁
They are all different. It seems weird to me at first but some just have more mid bass and some just have more loud ness. I'm having a hard time just saving money to buy 500 for each speaker but there are so many reviews on the NVS Chanel a little bit more research on what sound your going for and lots of money and lots of Tesla tape and no 99 cent store RCA's on some sound digitals with ferals on your wires and a fat Braille battery and oxygen-free copper wire preferably stinger you will definitely be there LoL 🤣😆 good luck 💯😎
The speaker pods in my 2020 are black as well. If yours are like mine, they are actually 2 piece and has almost like a lid that comes off to make grinding easier.

Hello, you every try or suggest adding sound deading material inside or on the outside of the PODs, or have you try with and with out for comparison?

All these speakers weigh more than the factory speakers but we have not seen any issues with the added weight .
