Zoologist anthology is something me and the lady really want to experience as well, seems like quite the roller coaster of a scent journey. Glad to see you really deep dive into the house! I also think I am going to love rabbit, growing up I always had carrot cake for my birthday so I think it could hold a special place as far as scents go for me. Was sad to hear you weren't picking up those beer/bread/hay notes everyone talks about with harvest mouse though. That is definitely another one I really want to get my nose on.
@@chaostheory3011 thanks for the comment! Fun house for sure, great evening activity with friends to sample the whole lot! Rabbit really caught me by surprise, I really like the scent. Harvest mouse was a little bit disappointing but again, I know nothing of the drydown so the hay, beer and tobacco might be hiding there.
I got my bottle of Bee and I love it!!! (its sold out at most places) and they sent a sample of Rabbit and Beaver Maple edition (smells almost like Bond New Haarlem). I agree that Rabbit seems so good but I would have to wear it more to really decide. Thanks for the Zoologist reviews!
Love Zoologist. Rabbit is my favorite by far, it smells like a carrot cake in a fresh green pasture. I loved wearing this one with sweeter gourmands to even each other out. I also like hummingbird.
Thank you for this video. I do prefer the slower, deeper type of videos, but this format is a nice way to get an overview on a house I, for one, knows nothing about.
Great idea and I hope you're nose isn't too broken for round two. I've not sampled anything for about 3 years but I still have a soft spot for Zoologist and take an interest in their new releases. I find them very wearable. Elephant, Musk Deer, Chipmunk and Rabbit are on my wishlist
Nose is still ok! Some of the other houses I have planned are much more abstract and will be more difficult to give my impressions of so I'll probably do less frags per video.
Love the video!!! Zoologist is the house that does not disappoint me, i like everything - the idea, the presentation, design of the bottles ( almost sobbing that they gonna change it soon). Almost all the perfumes I find either interesting or intriguing ( even Hummingbird😂 i have personal issues) I wonder if they ever gonna come up with „Human“ perfume🤨
Very interesting takes. Haven't smelled Cow, Penguin or Rabbit, but I'm a fan of Harvest Mouse, Chipmunk and Panda. Elephant also was quite nice on my skin, but you'll probably get into that one in part deux. Add Bee and Camel to the top and you have my top 6. 😄 I will say that Chipmunk was always better on paper and HM better on skin. 😆 It's up and down with this paper/skin game it really is.
Good format for those that are not familar with a house. Would be intrested to see you do this with a Parfums Quartana sample set. My favorite indie house.
First and foremost, congrats on reaching 3k subscribers! Perhaps time to celebrate with a live-streem? I know it is time consuming but it may be fun and fully rewarding. My two cents on this format: it is very useful to get a sense of a house and the direction is going. Yet I prefer in-depth review or the comparison videos. Blind buying and sampling should deserve more space than just a quick comment on youtube. Because I need to have an analytical mind, I tend to sample and sample and sample again first: only when do I get the full construction of the pefume, I may or may not buy it. Still, I do not encourage spending on sampling; I am lucky enough to live nearby many perfumery where I can test (almost) everything and where amazing people prepare samples for me. But I like the idea of a whats up groop sharing samples: it is a means of creating community. (p.s I am sampling les Indemodables.....) cheers

Honestly expected more from the concepts… Ultimately they’re fun to sample… but 90% of them aren’t worth full bottles. For me, surprisingly, it’s the gourmands that shine through (Bee, Rabbit)… And a special mention to Civet that I love to wear in the spring after shaving if I’m looking for that old world dandy vibe. It’s beautiful.
