Good job to both lines!!!! Glad to finally see this face off!!! Its a really tough call because there are things that both lines did extremely great!!! Im impressed with SWD being able to stay clean a good portion of the time with 10 fuckin snares!!!!!!!!!! Quints need a little polishing!! Basses stay on point!!!!! overall visuals were great with SWD. They were interesting to look at while not doing too much. Had a tempo issue, but great recovery!!! Cadences and transitions were great!!! Kudos overall!!!! Man I wish Jonesboro had one more quint at Darius level and maybe another snare or two to add to the overall sound. Snares and quint were eatin those notes up! Piss clean!!! Basses also did their thing!! That last cadence was FULL OF NOTES between the snares and quint!!!!!! Kudos as well!!!!!!! If I were to HAVE to name a winner. I would have to give the slight edge to Jonesboro. Nonetheless, I see extremely great futures for every member of BOTH lines moving on to the collegiate level!!!

The only difference is Herbert Brown Southwest instructor is the writer and producer of Cadences that Southwest performed with his creativity. So what you saw and heard was original, nothing was a copy from another section so when you call yourself a Percussion instructor be Original, do not copy what you played in college and call yourself. An instructor you are A duplicator not a Percussion instructor
