About Eda's and Lilith's age: (This is not a spoiler because it was never directly mentioned in the show) But Dana Terrace confirmed years ago in an AMA on TOH subreddit that Eda and Lilith are both in theirs 40's, and that Lilith is 2 years older than Eda.
Fun Fact 🤓☝️ As we all know, King is voiced by Alex Hirsch, creator of Gravity Falls, who also voices Hooty in TOH, but King's Squeak of Rage™ is voiced by Dana Terrace, the creator of The Owl House herself! Who also voices Tiny Nose and another character yet to be met in season 2.
22:48 Honestly, I think combining episodes ONLY works when one of them is not super plot relevant. And trust me, most episodes are, especially from season 2 onwards.
[SPOILERS] Is that not _exactly_ what "Knock Knock Knocking On Hooty's Door" is, though? Three plot-relevant episodes being shoved together into one, and it working perfectly?
Combining the episodes works well for season 1. Come season 2, almost all of the episodes are super plot relevant, so combining them won't work as well.
and really...starting in two weeks, give or take combining them will start being an issue. Might be better to just start recording multiple episodes per week instead like she did with helluva boss.
IM SO FREAKING EXCITED TO SEE YOU REACT TO EPISODE 15 ONWARDS That's when the show gets good, according to Dana Terrace episode 15 was the first one where Disney didn't pressure her to make the episode the way they wanted, and it's from episode 15 onwards that The Owl House truly becomes The Owl House, and after that episode after episode the show just gets better. In my opinion The Owl House only has two truly bad and skippable episodes, both in season 1, those being episode 8 (Once Upon a Swap) and episode 14 (Really Small Problems) but season 2 and 3 are perfect, every episode is a masterpiece, I can't wait for you to see the last 5 episodes of season 1.
Unfortunately we never do find out anything new about the Bat Queen. They wanted to, but they had to cut a lot of plot threads when the series was cancelled. I know that seems like a spoiler to some people, but it really isn't.
It's strange how the publisher is the only antagonist that doesn't really get punished. He ruined the lives of at least a dozen people and gets away with it.
My favourite character trait of Luz is that she constantly tries her best to succeed in what she's passionate about. She isn't perfect, so she makes mistakes, but she learns from her mistakes and avoids making the same mistakes again. She isn't "naturally gifted" or anything. She is pretty normal and relatable and improves with time and practice.
Fun facts: If you go back to bat queens last appearance you can see the palisman mark on her foot. When King takes the sack to bring the "elixir in case she goes rogue" you can see multiple bottles fall out as Eda clearly already took multiple to show it's not working. Hearing your theories on the Azura author is a great flashback to the idea threads, keep em comin xD
After this episodes, the season is fire 🔥 But for real, even if King is not his best in this episodes, I totally understand his reasoning. Luz is like, the first person who actual takes him seriously and he just has her and Eda, so I understand why he would be jealous.
still have small things which is kinda fillery, but other than that we are finally at the point that the show becomes more plot focused, also that other thing we are all looking forward to is getting close.
i have a theory about the bat queen. i think she used to be a titan's palisman since titans are the only "giants' we know of plus they live for a really long time! plus the whole part about being a part of a grand staff helps support that theory as well. anyways that's just what i think but of course it was never confirmed nor denied!
Doing two episodes at a time works perfectly for The Owl House. You'll get through season 1 quicker and reach *that* episode sooner. I think every fan knows what I'm talking about ^^
I do prefer having 2 episodes in 1 video! However its fine if you choose not to. I do think that you should do the finale (the two last episodes of the season) in one video at least
Remember to remember the pictures that King made when luz and king were making the book because in season 2-3 you will start to notice some similarities to kings pictures he made
I think sticking with 2 episodes for atleast season 1 works best. The final 2 episodes are pretty much a 2 parter anyway. The other major episode that I could see a case for doing as a single is episode 16, but it would be followed by 17 which features some, shall we say, related themes. Season 2 is much more plot dense and certain episodes probably warrant doing an episode as a standalone.
I think two episodes in one video is a good format. Videos take a while to come out so it's better to have two in one, although it may be a little weird if there are two different plot relevant episodes back to back.
Interestingly enough we do actually see a giant at Hexside this episode. Remember the guy hanging off the back of the school bus/air boat he was a teenage giant.
Sadly we never got a backstory for The Bat Queen, but it is believed that she was a palisman for either a real giant or whoever the skeleton of bonesboro was
I DEFINITELY prefer 2 episode reactions ❤️❤️❤️ I'm sure it's harder to edit, but hopefully the added retention helps the channel as a whole? I know longer videos tend to do better right now...
2:30 - something... girl... you will NOT survive a certain season 2 episode if you think that was cute. I just.... can't imagine the reaction to it. It will probably be 1hr for the one episode.
Keep going! After episode 14 everything picks up slowly! 13 is still great but 14 is very weak compared to the rest of the series. 15 leads up perfectly to 16, and 17 is a fun slice of life that also adds character development. 18 and 19 are incredible in every aspect, but still pail in comparison to season 2!
These 2 episodes r honestly amazing. A lot of people don't like ep11 that much, but as u said, it gives a great piece of character development to King. He is kinda selfish, but let's be honest, Eda does encourage that behaviour in him by supporting his delusions of grandeur. She might be motherly, but she makes mistakes to. So it's really nice to finally see King in a situation where his behaviour has massive consequences not only to him, but to his relationship with Luz. And, this ep gave us more details on Eda and Lilith's relationship, which is honestly so fascinating.
Maybe it's because as a grandfather I have extreme levels of dad joke energy immeasurable to mortals, but how is it that so few people seem to notice that the Luz/King portion of ep 11 is a 'writer's block' pun? ^_^
Ok, so another 2 great reactions of urs. Once again have to say that if u enjoy The Owl House I'm sure u will also like: 1) Amphibia - basically TOH's sister show 2) Steven Universe - very unique lore (and deep trauma) 3) She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018) - has quite a lot of twists.
I suspect Eda wasn't necessarily being flippant with her potion... I think part of it was the multiple empty bottles King finds and part of it is dysregulation due to her system and schedule being altered suddenly and drastically due to needing to care for a teen she wasn't prepared for... Which is common for disabled and chronically ill peeps. A massive change in routine can cause them to struggle with even essential care. (Speaking with experience there)
Actually stumbled upon the greatest mystery in the series, the author of Azura! Who's definitely not Eda's long lost twin trapped in the human realm. Crikey! I feel like even the writers forgot at some point that Lilith is the older sister Tiny Nose is voiced by Dana Terrace, so King and Luz were literally saved by the author's hand Hope it's not to late, but you need to dress up fancy when reacting to episode 16. Or else Hooty will come and chat with you!
hey weebie!! just wanted to let you know that danganronpa: despair time is officially back if you didnt know!! there's 2 new episodes already. Just letting you know since it'd be pretty fun to see you react to the new plot twists :3
I am glad you put a couple together. There is maybe two more that need to go together. Though I don’t remember what numbers off the top of my head. Escape of the palacemen is okay. I feel like there is both poor writing and poor pacing. I would love a different story about owlbert and the bad queen where Luz learn more self control. The one we got is a little wired. I don’t know if the book episode is the worse episode for King or for the show but i think it contributed to him not being liked as much. I think the show waited a little too long to explain just how young he is. If you picture a seven year old doing this it is way more understandable. Not saying he is seven but developmentally he comes across to me around that age. Mild spoilers This one that body swap one and then one where king wants to rule a play ground. Don’t like them. I actually like the friendship fair one.
About Eda's and Lilith's age:
(This is not a spoiler because it was never directly mentioned in the show) But Dana Terrace confirmed years ago in an AMA on TOH subreddit that Eda and Lilith are both in theirs 40's, and that Lilith is 2 years older than Eda.
I feel like the "literal crunch time" joke was Dana venting towards Disney and I love it. Also, Luz's about the author picture is perfect.
Why are you everywhere 😂
Fun Fact 🤓☝️
As we all know, King is voiced by Alex Hirsch, creator of Gravity Falls, who also voices Hooty in TOH, but King's Squeak of Rage™ is voiced by Dana Terrace, the creator of The Owl House herself! Who also voices Tiny Nose and another character yet to be met in season 2.
King's Squeak of Rage is still one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Dana nailed the sound.
22:48 Honestly, I think combining episodes ONLY works when one of them is not super plot relevant. And trust me, most episodes are, especially from season 2 onwards.
[SPOILERS]

nah u gotta watch episode 14 for the bread puns
technically really small problems is still important, skipping that episode messes with king's arc and eoftw wouldn't make sense regarding that
Unfortunately we never do find out anything new about the Bat Queen.
Just like Disney! 😊
Well even if we don’t see it, I like to imagine at least he becomes a puppet later when the Collector turns the isles into a playground.
My favourite character trait of Luz is that she constantly tries her best to succeed in what she's passionate about. 27:07 Finaly, Steve is here.
He... is *STEVE*
STEEEEEEEECE
This is my favorite ongoing Weeby series. I love the Owl House and I'm glad Weeby is loving it too!
After this episodes, the season is fire 🔥 But for real, even if King is not his best in this episodes, I totally understand his reasoning. Luz is like, the first person who actual takes him seriously and he just has her and Eda, so I understand why he would be jealous.

It's not a Weebynewz reaction video without the 3 "And today"s
Is that a bit she does? It feels far too consistent to be an accident.
@@bryanmoberg8408 Probably. Thought it wasn't intentional at first but since it's so consistent, it might be. It's not detrimental anyway
The Playground 🥱
The sLaYgRoUnD 💅 ✨
I like the double episode format, but I feel like you won't be able to keep it up, the show gets a lot more plot as it goes on
yeah...doing double episodes for the next two weeks is great...then probably go back to single episodes.

Everything after s1 ep 10 is peak
Eh, 14 is one of the weakest episodes imo, but after THAT, everything is peak for sure.
Episode 14 is really bad tho, i would say everything after episode 15 is peak.
35:12 omg your cat's adorable, him hugging the rabbit toy. So cute😊☺️❤
With those gymnastic skills I’m surprised Luz didn’t make the cheerleading team
Interestingly enough we do actually see a giant at Hexside this episode. Remember the guy hanging off the back of the school bus/air boat he was a teenage giant.
The poor Tinella Nosa slander, she is actually voiced by Dana Terrance the creator of TOH and Gravity Falls
27:38 Not as old as the Bat Queen.
Sadly we never got a backstory for The Bat Queen, but it is believed that she was a palisman for either a real giant or whoever the skeleton of bonesboro was
I DEFINITELY prefer 2 episode reactions ❤️❤️❤️
I'm sure it's harder to edit, but hopefully the added retention helps the channel as a whole? I know longer videos tend to do better right now...
NOT THE CUBE PEOPLE STARTING A MINECRAFT WORLD😭😭😭
23:54 Not Weeby gessing a season 2 episode 's plot 😭
Good for you girl, you're smart !!! (never doubted it)
2:30 - something... girl... you will NOT survive a certain season 2 episode if you think that was cute. I just.... can't imagine the reaction to it. It will probably be 1hr for the one episode.

I would love to see a reaction to RWBY when finished with Owl house, if you have not watched it yet.
I know I like the double episode formats. XD
King is my favourite he is ADORABLE

42:47 they can be the foundation of their own pyramid scheme!
I love the two episode format, it makes the flow of the show better

Yeah. They both need to learn to cooperate. It's not just King.

The raincode flashbacks x3c
Also 2 episodes per video sounds good girly, whatever keeps the Disney overlords from claiming copyright bs

This one that body swap one and then one where king wants to rule a play ground. Don’t like them. I actually like the friendship fair one.
The last two episodes of the season that should be together are 18 and 19, the last two episodes
