Personally, I use Vivaldi, which is like Opera - it's from the old founder of Opera who was ousted with the corporate takeover a few years back - but with better performance and without the concerns over predatory lending and spying by the CCP, but all of these recommended browsers were high on my list of contenders when deciding for myself. Matter of fact, I always have Brave installed for the purpose of being available for other people using my computer. I have Firefox with Adnauseum extension for questionable sites like illicit Anime streaming sites, torrent sites, etc. And, all the worst browsers, are just that. I wouldn't use any of those browsers these days. I only have Chrome on my phone because I can't remove it.

You missed Vivaldi. It's also a great chromium-based browser with great privacy and tons of features. There are also integrated translator, email, calendar, notes, etc. to reach them faster.
Vivaldi is an awesome choice for people who love customization and comes with a full suite of features. Unfortunately, it isn't open source and it may overload some people with the amount of features it has. It is a great browser though!

I would love to stop using google chrome but our school makes us use Chromebooks which are like the most crappy hardware I have used, it can't even run its own web browser with more than a few tabs. Its always a relief when i'm done using it and enjoy the web browser that i use, which is Vivaldi. I love customization lol aesthetically pleasing to look at and use.

I too think that would be a good addition, I would not use it personally since it has proprietary code in it (their UI system) but it can be great depending on the user's threat model. Not entirely related, but I personally use Firefox to support another engine (Gecko instead of Blink), however I'm worried about the direction they are heading to (Mozilla AI), but I can recognize being not sponsored by google is desirable.

Die hard Firefox user here, for many years. I was relieved when you stated it was your FAV! People used to say it was slow, but I never experienced that. There are a couple of extensions that I could not live without, and Pocket is cool.
A question though, did you test these browsers on a VM? If so thats a bit not representative to show in a video, or should be mentioned, tbh. If there was a way to get chromium with google sync today i'd use it.. but seems like its not easy to add the flags or not possible, thorium latest release which is from a chromium fork has that, but thorium has overhead in terms of being up to date..
Unfortunately, while LibreWolf is a great browser and meets the criteria, I can't fit all good browsers in one video, and compared to the other options, LibreWolf is just Firefox with uBlock and some tweaks.

I personally believe it’s a great browser, it’s only big issues that I know of are the whole crypto thing, the fact that it’s Chromium-based so it helps Google’s monopoly, and the fact that it now has a built in AI chatbot, but other than that, what do you dislike about it? I also know it has telemetry, but it’s privacy respecting, so it doesn’t collect any personal data.

My personal choice is TOR due to it being the only truly private browser. However i do use firefox nightly as an alternative browser
