Man, I have seen some people that couldn't spread gravel like you did with a motor grader. Your videos remind me of when I was growing up in the sixties, and by Daddy was running his own construction company. I applaud your honesty and striving to do a good job. The world needs more like you.

Andrew does great work. I really appreciate how he takes care of his equipment. He's not afraid to use it for what it was designed for but is gentle at the same time. For his age, he's a real class act and deserves all the success he gets.

    It’s just an idea
I’m pretty sure you have 2 yanmars now don’t you?
Anyway , I’m an independent contractor like your self and I use your videos to get me prepared for the day

That job turned out sweet. The toys were fun at first, then the
real equipment showed up on scene, made a huge difference.
Your handling of that hill was spot on, very correct usage of
engine/transmission/differential to keep control and speed.

I've been kind of binge watching your channel for the last three days and I can't get enough :) It started off when I stumbled on to the wave runner salvage and then I just kept digging in deeper - I've watched about 30 clips thus far.
I've done a lot of landscaping in my past. Not so much on the excavation side of things, more of the fine tuning stuff, but I've dabbled in excavation and have always been around it. Basically, I just appreciate your "well rounded" skill sets through many disciplines. And, your attitude of just addressing the problem, whatever it might be, fixing it, and moving on. And, of course, the never give up attitude.
So many of my friends think I'm some kind of Houdini when I can fix something that they have no concept of. It's not magic at all, it's just a basic, sound understanding of mechanical physics and more importantly, the willingness to push deeply into whatever you're working on. So many DIY'ers have been stopped in their tracks because they don't have that "push on" attitude, which is crucial.
Thanks for uploading your experiences Andy and keep up the good work. I'll be following your exploits from now on.

That's it in a nutshell CJ :), Well said! Andy's skill set is just a conglomeration of the various skills he''s learned thus far in his relatively short time on this earth. If he continues on his path, he will amass so much knowledge that he will eventually become one of those old "wizard" kind of guys we all know... Those kind of old guys that everyone goes to, to ask their unsolvable problems to, seeking resolution that they always have the answer to. :)

bobcats are one of the best machines a person who does what you do can own. but they have a few issues. one is dirt builds up under the peddles, there are drain holes in the floor so you can wash it out and sometimes they get stuck or sticky. wash it out and spray oil on the connections. newer models have moved these controls to the the joy sticks. also working on lines inside the engin compartment can get really tight. your work is greatand you work smart.

You might have what is called "silt lock" in that valve body. Contaminates in the hydraulic oil are the cause. The spool is precisely machined to close tolerances. The contaminates cause a burr to form on the spool and the burr doesn't allow the spool to move.

I still don’t see why they stoned on the side past the tree 🌳. In front of the wood piles could’ve just used it.

I'm always impressed with your filming man. I have a small channel, and have problems prioritizing good filming while on the job, usually too focused on doing a good job. How much longer would you say it takes you to do a job and film it vs just doing the job?

You likely get all kinds of weirdo messages like that and mine was definitely no different from that.
Anyway thanks for the uploads from all your hard work, and keep em coming.

Man Andrew you really gitter done with that Yanmar . Looks like that was a good purchase for you .. you utilize that thing to the fullest .. I been watching your videos since your first container castle video .. I've watched all your container castle videos and they are all great videos .. you are a pretty smart guy .. I haven't seen you ever be stumped and not been able to fix the problem no matter what .. not a whole lot of people who excel at mechanical and electrical understanding and how things actually work .. keep up the great videos ..
