    After filtering the HCl wash, collect the solution and add a small amount of sulfuric acid to precipitate the lead. Once the lead is removed from the solution, test the solution with stannous chloride. If you added more HCl than would be needed to dissolve the tin, lead and nickel, it will dissolve some palladium. Palladium will dissolve in dilute HCl if heated or exposed over time.

      Hello, can I add sulfuric to nitric to remove base metals in a solution with silver, platinum and palladium? Would it only precipitate the base metal? Thank you.

    A couple of suggestions.
    After you drop the silver chloride, you can use regular tap water to wash.
    And after converting from silver chloride to silver oxide using the hydroxide, you can use sugar to convert to silver. Which is cheaper than glycerine.
    I know those are only a few cents difference, but on larger scales, those few cents really add up.
    Great video though. Off to part 2.

      If melting is possible, the process is also possible with a lead process. This requires a melting furnace.

    Sir, when I put palladium inside hydrochloric acid for 24 hours, it appears white, not dark coffee white. What is the reason?

    • @qwethengoldrecovery
      @qwethengoldrecovery  Рік тому

      The fact that there is silver left in it is because the silver precipitates from the hydrochloric acid. That is why silver must be mined first and then palladium.

      Amikor tölcsérben leszűröd, rá kell locsolni, így a törmelékről is lemosódik az értékes oldat. Ezért lesz a végén több oldat.

    I see sources say if they ate magnetic, then they don't have anything in them. Then i see people say the magnetic ones are good too l, and some say the lightly magnetic ones are good and not the super attractive... I have boards from 95-presant, and I can't find a single mlcc that isn't magnetic and I am so confused...

    • @qwethengoldrecovery
      @qwethengoldrecovery  7 місяців тому
