You’re doing the right thing, David. Keep searching. Question everything. There IS no “meaning to life because we’re supposed to GIVE meaning to life. I wish someone had clued me into that fact when I was a teenager, it would’ve saved me 25 years of asking. 😁

I have a few questions about the four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path:
1 / I understand giving alms is a way to pay off karma, so how will we practice if we want to be liberated?
2 / Doctors kill animals, test drugs on people to find medicine, will this action help doctors get rid of the six paths of reincarnation? Thank you.
How do you resist others who do not understand you and try to force you to listen to their world view?
Stop wanting them be be otherwise.
I have my doubts about all this supposed information.
Open your mind... your ego is trying to protect you. The voice in your head that is doubtful is not your true self.

It's a prayer thats sung ahead of eating... Check out the Brahmarpanam prayer on Google and you can find it's Sanskrit to English phonetics and also the meaning

Very interesting and entertaining. The idea of the planets exerting any significant effect on the functioning of the bodymind on Earth, i find this really far out, too far, I would need some evidence to believe that but I’ll try to stay open to it.
If being enlightened is being like this guy...ill pass.
When he talks about sex and giving up on women, it saddens me that even for an enlightened person such as Ram Das, in that time he can't tell his audience that he is infact GAY.
I think he had a son. In Dying to know he says "essentially gay" when referring to himself.
