Was about to get new Powerbeats pros (battery life has degraded to ~30 mins for the left and ~1 hr for the right), but I guess I’ll keep ‘em until 2025
Wow that's not long at all, for how long have you had them? The next version will be out of my budget anyway so I'm considering buying the old version now for around 150. Would you recommend it or was battery life bad from the start?
@ Yeah, they’re nice, I’d recommend them. Only thing was I brought them pre owned, not brand new. I think that’s the main reason did battery degradation. I’ve had them for almost 4 years, and the battery started doing weird things within the past year. So when I say they last 30 mins/1hr, I mean that once the battery level gets to a certain point, the left or right Powerbeat will power off completely. For my left one, it’s about 70-80%, and for my right one, it’s about 50%. So yeah, weird battery things for me after 3 years of use
@@bentnicolauseisheuer7364 I would not even consider them. I had 2 pair and had terrible times with them. The charging dots can corrode if you dont wipe them each time after working out. Then the reliability of charging is meh at best. The first pair worked great for 2 months and since I wore them at work (construction) I needed around 12 hours a day and with 2 pair it would work. The battery life over time degrades, you have intermittent left ride side not charging, you have intermittent disconnects. I would sometimes put them in the charger at lunch and one side would charge and the other not. It was an overall unpleasant experience. I seen the new series of bt wireless earbuds and most are moving away from the "gold dots" connection and using wireless charging so that this ends having to align contact points. I am hoping that apple also uses this method for version 2. There are a ton of cheap ear hook designs that sound great. Amazon has many just search earhook earbuds
I'm excited about the noise canceling feature. It's about time.
Been waiting for these and for a video on it! You’re the first now everyone will follow
can’t wait for these I just hope they’ve had a good rethink about the case - only downside of the Powerbeats pro for me
When’s the release date
