Miller Lake has been on my to-do list for three years, as long as I have been here in Oregon. There is so much great water in this area though I have stayed busy fishing/catching. Great video all all around! Thanks for sharing.
I am glad that you enjoyed the video and thank you for the compliment. Miller lake is probably one of my favorite places to go. The camp sites are big and it is nice and quiet out there. Definitely worth making the trip out there. We are going to Coos bay next week to do some crabbing, so we should have another video out next weekend.
Hey guys.. I'm planning a trip soon.. the regs are saying non-motorized boats only.. is that a b.s. story to limit the number of boats? If I show up planning to use my 4 stroke are they getting a ticket book out? Thanx
Sorry it took so long to respond. While we were there, we looked all over for regulations. They have them posted on a board at the boat ramp. There is not even a speed restriction at that lake. I do know that there are 2 Miller lakes, one out by Applegate lake, and the other by Diamond lake. We were out at the one by Diamond lake. That might be why you saw an electric only regulation, as I believe that one is electric only. I ran into the same problem when doing my research as well. The good thing is you can fish at night where we went, and it is one of the only lakes in Oregon that will let you. Apparently the big Brown Trout are active at night, so maybe one day I will try that out.
